Yesterday I went from "someone stole my airline uniform" to "never mind, it just went through a second wash with someone else's dirty laundry." Had to make an unexpected trip to a local laundromat and haven't been to one in this area. Well, I'm so glad I found Laverne Launderland! I haven't been to one since I was a kid when coins were still being used. I was having trouble getting a card to be able to do my laundry so the manager Mike came and gave me some assistance. He could tell I was newbie so he gave me a quick orientation. I am so happy I came today with my teenage boy who got a chance to see good customer service. The machines have mega, big and normal size options. I used the big silver machines and 3 white machines they with very well. The dryers are great too. The place is clean too. Tip: bring cash so you can fill up your card but if you don't bring enough there's a wells Fargo ATM in the corner. Thank you Mike for your customer service and helpfulness. read more

Has this card thing for himself? It's not for the people that wash their clothes here he gets an extra dollar for a card and then you end up leaving money on the card. It's just another scam. And he does this also so he don't have to mess with change anymore!!! Response to Cathy : yea if it worked right! You have to slide it in and out 5-6 times and bringing the quarters that's good for you cause you don't wanna carry dirty quarters to the bank! First off CASH ONLY !! Establishment provides a card that you are able to load and reuse upon each return. The owner, Mike was SUPER helpful in guiding me in using each machine and the steps needed to fund the provided cards. I personally get discouraged from most laundromats because of transients and thieves, but given this place is extremely clean and employed with kind personable, helpful staff that makes this experience one to return back to. I'm actually writing this review in regard to a recent review posted about La Verne Launderland. It was in regard to dirty fans and bed bugs. I have been going to this laundry mat for quite a while and I find both of those statements to be false. I was there the morning after the review was posted. The fans were clean and as always the mat was extremely clean. As for bed bugs WOW unbelievably not true. This place is the cleanest laundry mat around and the owners are always coming in to check for any issues. I just felt compelled to give my opinion of the place. 10+ stars rating!! read more

Place was cleaned and seemed nice enough but as soon as we got the payment type we could not figure it so just we had to go across the street. I don't want havd to purchase a card to wash my clothes. This place is AWFUL inside! Attached is a picture of their DIRTY DUST filled fans. I got dust that fly's off the fan when it's on all in my eyes and nose. While sitting on their chairs inside, I got bit by what may be bed bugs from dirty laundry or something but they are HUGE bites underneath my legs as I was wearing shorts. I ended up with a sinus infection and I was disgusted that while folding my clothes including bedding had that nasty dust blowing on it. Dust is very dangerous and this looks about 3 years of build up. I will never return here or recommend this place to anyone. read more

Awesome laundromat. The operation is self serve and the process is pretty straight forward with the card system. Try to come at a reasonable time and there's plenty of washers and dryers available. I was able to wash my clothes, dry, fold them on their counter and take them back home with no issue or concern. Place is clean as can be, if dirty customers bring their own bugs, that is on them. terrible service late night. I purchased a new card today at 7pm by 8:15 the card was not readable. I spoke with the employees closing asking them to reissue me a new card and they said no that i would have to purchase a new one and loss the rest of the money on it. I loaded 10 washers at 1.75/ea with 7 dryers each with 30 minutes @ .75/6 mins. this equals 43.75 i spent here and lost $15.25 with the dollar new card fee. as i was leaving the employee began touching and moving my clothes. Great laundry mat, very clean. Went here to wash my bed comforters. Machines were quick and reasonably priced. It is cash only, you need to buy a laundry card but the machine only accepts cash. The drying machines did have some trouble reading the laundry card and I had to insert it several times, but eventually it worked. A couple of us had the same issue. read more

Its very clean, machines are kept up. They have multiple load machines that between 3.50$-5.50$ per wash 23-28 min. The smaller ones are 1.75$-2.75$ The easy card. One of the machines usually is a pain in the ass but the one on the right works great. Make sure you only bring 20's 10's 5's and singles. Any other change dont tell them i said it but the smoke shop right next door usually gives changes without trippin. No homeless people waiting for you to leave so they can wear your your clothes. They have a lost n found. Its quiet. read more

Super clean laundromat! Came on a Sunday evening to try this out. When we got there around 5 ... there was only one other person there. I couldn't help but notice how awfully clean this laundromat was. Both washers and dryers -inside & out. Huge thumbs up for this. You can't believe how many laundromats I've been to in my life time where I truly wished i felt comfortable washing my clothes at... well this one is it! Love it love it love it! You won't feel gross putting your dirty clothes in or touching anything. I knocked it down a star ONLY because of how small it is. By the 40th minute in... the laundromat was packed. Plenty of Washers and dryers available but no space for anybody to walk or push their cart. Super awkward and uncomfortable lol. But other than that. Will come again! read more

Great self service laundromat! Close by to me, convenient, never run into any problems!

The worst! The card system for the machines don't work. You get constant messages to "re-insert card." One of the machines I did so many times that it went into reset mode and then ended up taking my money without actually starting a load. When I finally got one of the machines going it got overloaded and started to spills suds out from all sides. A complete disaster! read more

I made a stop at this laundromat Wednesday morning with my family since our washer was broken and we really needed to wash our clothes. There were many washers and dryers available for use. Upon walking in, the place immediately looked clean. A nice individual inside the laundromat helped us with a couple of questions we had about the washer. An easy card must be purchased (only takes cash) before using the machines. Overall, the area seemed safe in the morning and I was able to stop by the local Dollar Tree that was just across this place. Would recommend coming here to this laundromat! read more

EXCELLENT!! It's been many many years since I've been to a launder-mat. Needed to wash throw rugs and needed large washers. Called the number and owner/manager Kathy answered all my questions. I have even witnessed the cleanup crew offer water to customers free of charge. Safe environment and well lit in the evening and early morning hours. Older facility and has some new machines. Washes are $= for a mid size machine. The wash cycle is 23 minutes which is fast.. The machine are made by Dexter which tends to be reliable. No machines are out of order and it's crowded today. (Sunday at 2pm) You have to pay a dollar to purchase a cash card. Meh... The hours are 6am to 10 pm. The patrons are friendly. read more

Came here to wash our oversized comforter. Didn't realize that it would be packed on a sunday afternoon, but now i'm aware of how busy it gets at that time. Even with it being busy I was able to get the biggest washer they had and it handled my comforter just fine. Just a tip you need cash and this place works with a card system where you buy a card and load money on it and then swipe the machines for your desired use. will be back when my comforter or anything too big for my washer needs to be cleaned. read more

before coming make sure to bring CASH!! it's cash only! so you can insert your money, and in return you get a loaded card to use on the washing machines! it's really cool so you don't have to carry around dirty change. and when it's used, you can add more funds so don't throw it away. Patrons here were generally friendly and helpful, I haven't been to a laundromat since I was a kid and didn't know there was a whole card system now. There are a lot of dryers to break up drying your loads, they only dry for 6 minutes at a time, so you must insert your card over and over. I had to wash and dry table cloths for work and was happy to find this place clean and relatively safe feeling. The owner even happened to stop by while I was there and offered water to everyone, it was very sweet and considerate. We will come back here to wash again. read more

I gave a 3 star rating coz these guys didn't have a way to pay by credit card which was a bit annoying as i don't usually carry cash on me - they have a card system so i didn't have to mess with quarters but seems like it would be easy to do a credit card system then - even pass the fees back to the credit card user would be ok with me - just such a hassle these days to stop and get cash! machines were fast but didn't spin enough water out - i only needed washing coz my washer at home on the fritz so took the clothes home to dry and it took almost 3 times as long to dry than usual! area is clean and fairly safe - the laundromat itself seemed clean and clientele didn't include any shady characters (just me i guess haha) i guess i would use them again in a pinch but might opt to drive up the road to pomona or claremont as my first choice next time - too bad coz their la verne location is pretty convenient for me. read more

I had to wash my comforter and brought it in on a Saturday at 8am. The place was clean and felt safe. I did have a hiccup with the card not working but another patron helped me. The trick is to open then close the handle one one more time to reset the machine, apparently it happens a lot here. Other than that no issues and easy. read more
