I really wanted to like this salon. I've been 3 times now for pedicures and not been impressed. There is not an option for a "middle of the road" pedicure. It's all or nothing. I paid $50 + tip for an "organic" pedicure and my polish looked dull and messy each time. My heels are the driest they have ever been after coming to this salon. The location is so convenient for me so I'm really disappointed that I'll have to find something else. The last couple experiences have been rushed and I threw those experiences to the side because it's definitely hard finding quality in Indiana...especially in Carmel, IN ( relocated from the West Coast where they specialize in everything beauty including quality ).... I needed a fill and I had almond shaped finger nails and I asked her to make them a little sharper... I also asked Amy to fill my two big toes... Amy, the main manicurist there, REFUSED to let me use a $10 off LOYALTY card that was legitimately completed after 10 visits?! I had actually been 12 times and always I tipped 20%. Pretty ridiculous. I walked out. I hope the owners know Amy lies to customers about the loyalty card. She makes up store rules based on the customer. This is called discrimination and promoting the cards and then not allowing customers to use them is FASLE advertising! I will be filing BBB complaint. She also insists hyou pay cash which is clearly tax evasion. Decided to try the nail salon despite the bad reviews because it was close to home. I took my 7 year old sister to get paws and claws together while I was home from college. There were two women working and one other customer there, so I began my pedicure and my sister waited in the massage chair next to me. My manicurist was very friendly to us both while my sister giggled trying the different settings of the chair. I was worried that they wouldn't like her playing around but they laughed with her and helped her pick out her nail color. Her manicurist was very gentle and friendly with her which set me at ease because she gets worried from being cut before at a different salon. I recently relocated to town and was looking to find a new nail tech- Finding someone who is professional, does not rush the work and precise can be difficult! I found this location on google- reviews did not match Yelp ( I will be coming to Yelp first and foremost from now on. My initial impression was that the location did not look like the google pictures. It was dusty, old towels lying around- disorganized looking. I got a no chip french tip pedi. Their massage chair was uncomfortable and kept pressing into my buttocks/crouch, so I just turned the thing off. The guy who did my toes did not check to see if the white tips lined up and matched on my large toes. One was MUCH skinner than the other, he dried one foot at a time and rushed to get my shoes on. I noticed once I set down for my fill- and after mulling over just leaving and going to another shop- I finally asked him to fix it, which he did, begrudgingly. Next he worked on my acrylic powder, and left hardened power under my nail. He would not have fixed this, had I not said something. The paint on my nails was spotty at certain points, until I directed the 3rd person who was working on my nails to fill it a bit more- she was rushing. They charged me $130, for a french no chip pedi, a soak off and acrylic powder with tip. read more

The pedicure seats has massaging backs which was wonderful. The water was the perfect temperature, and the foot massage was just what I needed. A regular pedicure is $28, which is fine, but I paid for 2 tropical pedicures which added a lemon scrub for $4 more. However, when he was done with the really quick scrub (he did not even scrub my feet)he did not finish with lotion and a massage. He said that I got the scrub instead. What? Are you kidding me? I paid extra to have an extra service not extra to get a less than worthy scrub with no massage at all. When I mentioned it the girl said that I could have lotion. So he merely put some on my legs and that was it. Still no massage. Pitiful. I will not be back. One more thing...they charge $3 more to use OPI nail polish. Adorned with the usual pretty paper spiked lamps and a fun looking nail bar that never gets used. But as ALWAYS it's so hard to find a nail salon around here where you don't feel rushed and made obvious that you're their 20th customer of the day, even when it's slow. This salon is pretty and large, but very misleading on their advertisement of eyelash extensions. BUYER BEWARE!!! They use cluster lashes (about 12 lashes per cluster), and 3 of these clusters fell out before I even made it home! I saw a "shine" on top of my eyelash base and looked in the mirror, touched the shine and off they popped! What a waste of money and time. :( Also, the girl was very nice but did NOT do the following (as you should) 1. Tell me how to care for them 2. Use strong glue during application 3. Take off the tape carefully When she pulled the tape off, it really pulled so much that if was sore, like a sunburn until I woke up the next day. The tape that they use, it TOO STRONG! Customer service is terrible! I've been a few times since it's near my work and kept hoping the service would change. Firstly, the younger male technician says inappropriate things at all times. My co worker and I were talking about a friends son with cancer, and he says "what if I pretend to have cancer and make a go fund me page to get money?" Another time he bad mouthed the manager as well! Today my coworker and I went again (for the last time). They cut my co workers nail during a pedicure and asked if she wanted them to super glue it! She yelled for them to get a liquid bandaids. It also took them 2 hours to do a pedicure and manicure... it was not busy at all. Don't be fooled by the convenient location and pretty interior. I have been coming to this location for a year and have had pleasant experiences before today. All technicians were busy when my friend and I arrived, but the staff said they could fit us in and gave us no information about how long of a wait it would be. There were several people that came in behind me and left well before I did, and although the services they came in for were short, I feel that a technician should have at least started my service first. When someone did begin working on my nails, they were untrained to say the least, if even a hired employee. It seemed like she did not know how to do the service I requested, and when one of the other technicians became available, he took over for her immediately. If I had been told how long I would've had to wait, I never would have stayed. I don't plan on returning to this salon. read more

Nice interior, but the experience was underwhelming. I made an appointment in advance and have never felt more rushed during a nail appointment. The entire gel manicure was probably complete in 15 minutes or less. The actual manicure was painful (in addition to rushed).
