What I thought wouldn't be a success turned into just that! I made an appointment here today at 10:00, and arrived at 9:50. They didn't officially start on my nails until about 10:25. (Which was fine because they seemed busy) I wanted tips for length, clear pink dip, and a pumpkin on my ring finger. They didn't have the dip I was looking for so we tried getting as close to the color as possible. Then upon doing that she brought out these nail design tapes that adheres on, they didn't have the pumpkin I wanted so I chose a bat. All in all it was an good experience, I would love to go again because the nail tech was so gentle with my hands/nails, and it's so nice having it just down the road from my residence. I called to book an appointment and the girl on the phone took forever to tell me if I can get in or not. I told her 1:45 or 2. I showed up a few minutes late. I have been coming here for 10 years with my mom and sister. I have been 4 minutes late one other time but they called me before they took me off the schedule(this is why they take your phone number when they book with you). I show up a few minutes late because I was helping an elderly lady in the parking lot and I didn't think it would be a big deal because they constantly have me wait a few minutes each time even though I make appointments. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and told me that I needed to wait 20 minutes since I was a few minutes late. The nail tech Lisa did a horrible job on my hybrid nails full set. Firstly she didn't shape them like I wanted and I had a picture that I showed her so we could be on the same page since she doesn't speak English. Secondly she put the hybrid gel on too thick so my nails look like fake nails. I hate that look. Thirdly I had designs on 8 fingers and the red gel polish bled into the white polish. When I made her aware of this (as best as I could because she doesn't speak English and barely understands it) she didn't do anything to correct it. So now my nails look like they have smudged polish. I complained to the manager and she told me I am too picky and to go somewhere else to get my nails done. I told her Gladly and I will be sure to post a negative review to warn others not to come here. So you have been warned. Do not waste your time nor money here. I have had my nails done at La Vista Nails numerous times over the years but in recent months the overall quality of service has drastically decreased. The quality of service you get is dependent upon the nail tech you get and if they're in a rush to get people out the door. I recently had a full set of acrylic nails put on (french tip) and the tech was going to send me on my way with bubbles showing all throughout the clear polish she put on. They looked terrible and the only way to fix was for her to sand down the nail and actually paint the tip with white polish. I'm appreciative that she did what she could to fix them, but the level of service and her lack of care in doing a good job was disappointing. They took a long time even though I made an appointment and about three different workers did my nails and there was about ten minutes between each worker (It took an hour and a half when it only should have taken 30- 45 minutes). The gal doing my nails was in a hurry and trying to do two people at a time. She came over while I was getting a pedi and started doing my dip manicure. I could not sit back and relax and enjoy the pedi. Then she was in a hurry to do the nails, very sloppy job. The guy taking the money said the part slopped over on my skin will come off. It's still there. Two of my fingers were bleeding. Another one she scrubbed so hard with a file, the nail pulled away from the skin which we all know is painful, and I'm worried about infection. There is a big smudge on my big toe. She went over and started a pedicure while still doing my nails. No attention to me. Said she was done. Told me to go wash my hands, and she was gone. The salon is ALWAYS busy, if you don't make an appointment for a weekend visit you will be waiting for a while or turned away. I always schedule an appointment yet I'm left waiting over 20 mins past my appointment time. Every time I schedule appointments for my friend and I to get pedicures we are separated. One of us is seated before the other and we separated by 4 chairs. Which leads to one being done way before the other and us resorting to text messaging in order to have a conversation. If you're looking for a shellac manicure, I would look elsewhere. The gel polish is applied unevenly and not close enough to the cuticle/nail bed. I'm not sure if this is laziness or improper training. I used to love this place, I'm very sad that it has gone downhill. read more

I went to get a mani and peti. After that I went to dry my hands. One of the workers there named shayla went to see if my hands were done, and tapped lightly on my hands, n feet and said there done. So I went to put. My shoes and coat on and my hands were so fucked up. So I went up to the front to have the lady that did my nails to at least redue it and they said she's with a customer, and that the least she could do was give me $10-$20 off...... tbh I would have been fine waiting until she was free, since it was pretty busy. I'm giving this place a three only because the tech Kay was very friendly. My best friend called made appointment with this place. I never been before, when we walked in the manager asked if he can help us. My friend told him we had appointments. He asked we was getting pedi and manicure. My friend said no I wanted a set. The manager said well you called asked for a mani we don't have time to do full sets. At that point I'm like ok well let's go somewhere else he don't want our business. The manager told us to pick out a color and sit in the pedicure seats. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to start our Pedi. I got Kay she was super sweet and friendly. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails. She didn't do them quite like the picture but I was happy with how they came out. After Kay was done she told me thank you have a great day. I went to the manager to pay. He told me my price he never said thank you for coming, have a nice, nothing. He even offered some of the customers in the nail shop water. I'm glad I called ahead to make an appointment. They seem very well-organized and as soon as I got there I was told what table number to sit at. The nail technician, Kay, greeted me at the table right away. Honestly, nail salon organization is a science because of the walk-in culture. To have it down where people with appointments don't have to wait due to walk-ins is not always what happens, but at this place it did on this one instance which is awesome. I got a shellac manicure and Kay did a great job! She took care of my hands and I'm left with a manicure I love. She offered a design but I declined. The cost was $25 + tip. The gentleman in the front is very kind too and seems to be running the store very efficiently. Also, all the technicians wear vests with name tags. Brought my boyfriends 8 year olds and myself in to get two manicures. We arrived at 3:30 and was told only two people were ahead of us. We are currently still here and still waiting. It is 4:40 and was never told how long we had to wait. After waiting over 30mins we continued since had been there already so long. I would recommend they let people know the wait time as I didn't want to walk out and a 8 year old be disappointed after she was promised to get her nails painted. We had dinner plans to meet her dad and had to cancel this. Poor customer service and communication beyond disappointed and will not be back and will not recommend this business. I sent my 3 daughters there to get nails done. 2 of them got nail and toes painted, 1 got nails put on and toes painted. I had NO idea it would cost me $255 for this service. I went yesterday, the day before Xmas Eve and this place was nuts!!! I waited 20 minutes to get in and watched every chair be in use for the whole two hours I was there. They have a great system and got everyone in, but there were some manicures in pedicure chairs happening. I got a pedicure and a shellac manicure. It was $50. I'm from out of town, and this seemed really affordable to me. Really affordable for the time she spent with me. My only complaint is that she was a bit weak on the massage, otherwise, I received top notch treatment. A long pedicure and very careful manicure. She wasn't rushing me even though there was a constant line at the door. I can't believe she was so focused with all those potential tips waiting, but I think they may be used to the crowds at this place. It seems to be a local go-to. I've gone here before and always had a good experience until recently. My last two visits have left me leaving extremely unsatisfied. This time it was for a shellac manicure. I was trying to decide a color, and the woman was tapping her foot, just pointing at numbers so I would pick one already (mind you the color I had originally chosen had been "lost" so I had to hurry and choose a new one). She sloppily threw each coat of polish on and finished my entire manicure in 15 min. Anyone who has gotten shellac can tell you that 15 min from start to finish is nearly impossible for a quality shellac manicure. I went to pay (begrudgingly) and realized my thumb still had 1/4 of it missing polish! I asked them to fix it and all she did was file it down uncomfortably short. I'd leave no stars if I could. First off the place is ran like a sweat shop, they do everything the cheap way. I got a pedicure and a powder dip. My nails were very long when I came in, she accidentally cut my thumb nail too short and then she had to cut down the rest, and she finished my nails before she was suppose to and was unable to to the last coat. Or so they said they couldn't add the last coat because it wouldn't dry. I told the manager and he said ok she'll put a another coat. And then they talked in their language, and the lady had attitude and then he said oh she can't do a last coat because it won't dry. My toes came out okay, but the pedicure they were VERY FAST! She rubbed my legs like less then 5 minutes. . I just can't believe out of pure laziness she wouldn't add another coat and I spent about $125 here. WOULD NEVER COME BACK! read more
