Wanted something sweet but not heavy and I came across Labanz Cafe on Yelp ~ I ordered a Satalana Dubai Style + Strawberries and a Crepanita, also Dubai Style + Strawberries. Both of these were delicious and not overly sweet at all. The textures in the milky bread and custard Satalana were unique and added interesting layers along with the crunchy kataifi. The crepe had a nice bite and a slightly chewy texture. Toppings were abundant on both desserts, and the large sizes were a decent amount to share between 2 people. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the dishes came out quicker than I anticipated. The store front is well-kept and there are plenty of seats inside and out. Parking in the lot here was free and there were a quite few spaces open, on a Monday afternoon. V convenient overall - I recommend trying out Labanz if you're craving any Middle Eastern treats. i've never had middle eastern dessert before so it was so great to try labanz for the first time! they had a big parking lot, and i was immediately met with enthusiasm and such welcoming service by the staff. they have a few locations around socal. the menu has a lot of variety for different options to choose from like crepes, waffles, ice cream, coffees, and more! ashtotaz - fluffy cake with cream on top and kinder pieces! i love kinder chocolate. it created a good crunch with the soft cake satalana - this is a layered half biscoff & half pistachio dessert, and it was definitely my favorite one. i loved the combo of these two flavors together, and the biscoff crumbs were delicious kusharita - creamy rice pudding with mango & caramel! the fruit added a great fresh taste to the sweet dessert the atmosphere of the shop was cutesy with the blue and white theme they had. i would highly recommend if you're in the mood for a late night dessert! read more

Been wanting to try this place ever since I saw the TikTok videos! Happy they opened a location in the valley. The desserts are absolutely superb!! Tried the Satalana with Dubai style toppings. It melted in my mouth! Just the perfect amount of sweetness and so moist! Neve had anything like this! Also had the mango mousse! Wow! Absolutely delicious! Can't wait to come back and try more. Amazing service and even better desserts! As a big fan of Dubai chocolate desserts, I really enjoyed all of the base options they had and the ability to Dubai chocolate-ify all of them. Highly recommend the kusharita and labanita!! I also ordered a biscoff coffee but wasn't my fave so I'd skip on that next time. Ambiance was great as they even had the World Cup games playing! I stumbled across Labanz on Instagram and literally got in my car that second to go try it. I'm so glad I did! The customer service was great from the moment we walked in, and everything we ordered was delicious. We tried the Satalana, the Kusharita, and the Dubai Chocolate Waffle, and every dessert was amazing. You can tell they put a lot of care into both the presentation and the flavors. I would 100% come back and can't wait to try more of the menu. If you've been thinking about checking this place out, definitely do it! Labanz just opened their newest location in Tarzana, adding to their Anaheim and Fullerton locations, and it's definitely worth checking out if you're a dessert lover. Their menu has a tons of options, from milk cakes and cream cakes to waffles, crepes, ice cream, specialty coffees, and drinks. I honestly couldn't figure out what to order. The owner also told me they'll be opening at 7 a.m. starting next week to serve breakfast and coffee, so I'll definitely be back to check that out. We tried the Biscoff Ashtouta (milk cake), which was soft and so moist. We also had the Dubai style Satalana (cream cake), which was rich, creamy, and topped with pistachio and crispy kunafa. For drinks, we ordered the blue ocean mojito and a Biscoff iced latte, both of which paired perfectly with the desserts. We couldn't leave without trying the Farawalita,fresh strawberries topped with Dubai chocolate and it definitely lived up to the hype. The café itself is clean, spacious, and has a great atmosphere for hanging out with friends or family. Daniel, one of the employees, was incredibly friendly and helpful. My family and I have already been to Labanz twice this week, and that says it all! Their middle eastern desserts are absolutely delicious. We couldn't even wait long enough to take a picture of the Satalana or the Kusharita before digging in they were that good! My son completely devoured the Dubai style Crepeanita and is already asking when we can go back. Not only is the food incredible, but the staff is so kind and welcoming, and they're very generous with their portions. It's rare to find a place that delivers both amazing quality and such great service. We will absolutely be back often and can't wait to try even more of the menu. Highly recommend! read more

Ok I just ordered the satalana which was like a moist cake with custard at the bottom and added Dubai toppings. And I was so surprised at how light it tasted. It was a really good balance. Like it looked decadent as hell but when you buy into it it's nice and moist and the toppings cut through the cake and custard. read more

I had been wanting to try Labanz for a while so my boyfriend and I finally made the 20 min drive to check it out today we got there around 8pm but unfortunately our first experience was really disappointing. When we walked in we weren't greeted but we brushed it off i started asking the employee a few questions about the menu and the shop and from the beginning she made us feel extremely uncomfortable she kept staring at our Palestinian jerseys and had a very unpleasant expression the entire time we were ordering. The atmosphere became so awkward that instead of staying to enjoy our dessert like we had planned we decided to just take it to go. As we were leaving both my boyfriend and I said "Thank you" and she didn't respond at all. She just turned around and walked away the customer service was incredibly rude and I honestly don't know what the issue was especially as someone who is Middle Eastern myself i never expected to feel uncomfortable or possibly discriminated against at a Middle Eastern establishment it was really disheartening because we were excited to support the business. The dessert itself was delicious but the service completely overshadowed the experience. Sadly because of how we were treated I don't see myself coming back. read more

The reason I deducted a star and only gave 4 stars instead of 5 and this is a BIG pet peeve of mine that I'm noticing more restaurants doing is setting their mobile credit card machines to include tax on tips! The tip % should ALWAYS be on the subtotal however in these restaurants' desire to make life more "convenient" with the pre-set Tip options (e.g 18%, 20%, 22%), they are knowingly setting their machines to include the tax in hopes that most people likely won't catch it. I'm usually good at calculating it myself but in my haste today, simply hit the default 20% button and only realized when I got home and doubled checked the bill. Also, I don't feel they should charge more for a non-dairy milk alternative as a lot of folks have milk allergies like myself...even most of the other coffee houses don't charge for milk alternatives anymore. At an already pricey $8.49 and $7.49 for these two lattes, it's unnecessary to gouge another $0.75 for Oatmilk. Hopefully the owner sees this and will consider adjusting both.

I loved the various memorabilia on the walls, especially everything related to Coach John Wooden. Several years ago, I had a chance to meet Coach, and he holds a special place in my heart. The overall vibe at the restaurant was friendly and welcoming. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was top-notch coffee shop cuisine. We loved meeting Paul, who was very kind. I would love to go back and try some of the lunch and Chinese options. We had parked on the street but were told that they validate in the parking area behind the restaurant.
