The food was extremely fresh and flavorful! They serve some dangerous waffles, so light and fluffy. The fried Chinese is boneless and packed with awesome flavor too. The wait time was about 20 minutes and worth every moment. The service is fast friendly. We felt seen and heard due to the excellent customer service. Spacious indoor seating and they have outdoor seating if that's your vibe. Can't wait to go back!!
Obsessed with this place! The food is always amazing and the service is quick. The fried chicken? Unreal. It's a bit small in the inside so prepare for a wait. We also ordered a match and a caramel latte that were to die for. Please visit when you're in the valley!
Been here a few times now and it has consistency proved to be a solid breakfast spot. I also appreciate that they open as early as 7am. Weekends can get busy, so the earlier you come the better. Lots of tables inside with TVs in multiple corners. Menu has variety from Collettes, skillets, waffles and drink options. Food usually comes out quickly. Everything tastes good, sometimes it can be under-seasoned but I guess that's better that it being overly salty.
Came here for breakfast with my family and had a good time. Our waitress Kat was great! She was super friendly and attentive. The space is large with lots of seating indoors and some seating outdoors. The parking lot in the back is really small, but there is also street parking if you're unable to find a spot in the lot. The food itself was good, but the items we decided on just reminded us of a more expensive IHOP tbh, nothing too spectacular but maybe that's our own fault for not getting their waffles that they're known for LOL. My little brother really liked his French toast kids combo! He said the French toast was really good. We also got the breakfast skillet which we would say was a 7/10. The potatoes and onions mixed in could've been cooked a bit longer to make them crispier. The biscuits and gravy, I wouldn't order again tbh. The biscuits were flat like a pancake, & the gravy was very watery. If we're ever in the area again we would definitely try other items, but overall first time experience was good!

This place is clean with pretty quick service. All the waiters and bussers were so nice! The vanilla latte is always a classic but the lavender latte was really good! I'd definitely ordered that again. The country friend steak was good, definitely not as hearty and heavy as a traditional one but still delicious. And we offset that dish with a lox and bagel. I wish I didn't have to construct it myself though. Parking is extremely limited and can be difficult to find street parking with a meter.

I haven't been here in a while! Came here early on Easter Sunday before the crowds. I ordered a berries and cream waffle and it was good It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meal. Customer service was great, our server was very attentive. Overall, great place for brunch if you love waffles .
Such a great little find! We were trying to go out to breakfast but the other place we checked out was only serving a breakfast buffet and that's not what we wanted. We ended up at this place on a whim. Incredible place! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great outdoor seating. The cold brew was yummy. The churro waffles were the true star of the show! Wow! Great flavor. Amazing light texture. The chicken was delish. Absolutely no complaints. We sat outside and did some people watching. We really loved the shade provided, it wasn't too hot and our server was still very attentive with us.
Nothing special We went to & Waffles for breakfast this morning. We arrived around 9 so the wait wouldn't be intolerable. There was a wait inside but we were sat immediately on the heated patio. Our server was prompt. I asked for guidance between the french toast and pancakes. The pancakes were her suggestion. Otherwise the service was just okay. I had to ask for my iced tea 2 additional times after ordering it before it was delivered to our table. Our food came out relatively quickly but was still somehow just moderately warm, not hot. The pancake combo plate was just super basic. Nothing interesting or special about the preparation or presentation. My partner enjoyed the waffles Benedict. I had some of the waffles and they were super light and crisp. I'm told the hollandaise sauce was good as well.

Came to LA from the Oakland for the weekend! Everything was great the waffle was fluffy and crisp , fried chicken was golden and perfect! Food came out hot and timely! - unsure on the usual traffic but seats were filled! Get there early! - no alcohol - street parking - no reservations
This was my first time visiting & Waffles and I drove about 45 minutes to try it out. I was seated right away, which was a great start. Unfortunately, it took about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. The person who seated me did apologize and explained that my waitress had gone on break without letting anyone know she still had a table, which was frustrating to hear. The food itself was good and full of flavor. No complaints there. However, service continued to be an issue. I asked our waitress, Sam, for a Coke. I waited for it, went to the bathroom, came back, and my drink still wasn't at the table. Sam also didn't have the best attitude, but I let it go because everyone can have an off day. Overall, for my first experience, it wasn't the greatest. The food was solid, but the service and communication really took away from it. I might consider coming back, but only if service improves.

The waiters/waitresses are always very friendly and make us feel welcome! The food itself is delicious, and the portions are fairly large. I've tried the Waffles Benedict, Red Velvet Waffle, and the Matcha Waffle, which were all fantastic. The Waffles Benedict, which came with ham and poached eggs, was my personal favorite (the eggs were the perfect runniness; compliments to the chef!). There is also plenty of seating including chairs and booth options, so larger parties, families with kids, or couples can have a comfortable place to dine. As for the prices, the food ranges within the $20s range (any extra add-ons like eggs, ham, etc. cost a few dollars more). I would say this is pretty typical for an LA restaurant, although it may come off as a bit "pricey" for non-locals or travelers. However, they do offer a very diverse menu, so there is definitely something that everyone could enjoy. read more

We were in the area and came across this lovely place. The server, Kat, was very personable and attentive and made sure we were taken care of shortly after sitting down. We reviewed what others had recommended prior to ordering and decided on the Texas Style Chicken and Waffles along with the Combo Burrito (with bacon and Polish sausage). Both were a winner! And to drink we enjoyed a Lavender Iced Latte and a French Vanilla Iced Latte...both also spot on! The reason I deducted a star and only gave 4 stars instead of 5 and this is a BIG pet peeve of mine that I'm noticing more restaurants doing is setting their mobile credit card machines to include tax on tips! The tip % should ALWAYS be on the subtotal however in these restaurants' desire to make life more "convenient" with the pre-set Tip options (e.g 18%, 20%, 22%), they are knowingly setting their machines to include the tax in hopes that most people likely won't catch it. I'm usually good at calculating it myself but in my haste today, simply hit the default 20% button and only realized when I got home and doubled checked the bill. Also, I don't feel they should charge more for a non-dairy milk alternative as a lot of folks have milk allergies like myself...even most of the other coffee houses don't charge for milk alternatives anymore. At an already pricey $8.49 and $7.49 for these two lattes, it's unnecessary to gouge another $0.75 for Oatmilk. Hopefully the owner sees this and will consider adjusting both. read more
After an early morning coffee at a nice coffee spot down the street. My girlfriend and I decided to get something to eat, before heading back to our spot to get ready for the day. We saw & Waffles on Yelp and decided to walk down her from the coffee shop, which was maybe a 1/4 away from each other. Once we arrived, outside you're greeted by a nice waffle with wings mural, and inside a bustling establishment. With a hostess at the front and a cheeky "(Christopher) Walkers only" sign. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes uses to be seated and then sat in the bar area if the restaurant. We ordered the following: Cajun chicken & waffle Baja Omelet w/eggs whites and side of fruit The dishes were huge; especially the Cajun chicken & waffles. But best, the food was delicious, and worth the stop in. Overall: Great food, great staff, popular spot. Would definitely come back if in the area ever again, and needed a bite to eat. read more

I recently visited And Waffles and it was an experience! The ambiance was top tier: inside warm and welcoming; outside perfect Ventura brunch vibes that really set the tone. Service was A plus every time. The staff was attentive: if anything needed adjusting they handled it without hesitation and the food was always fresh and hot with no issues at all. I had the chicken and waffles and it was perfect: crispy outside soft inside balanced exactly how I like it. The Cajun chicken breast was flavorful and fresh and I loved that Nutella on the side with the strawberries. I have not tried their dessert drinks myself but they looked amazing and very well made. If you are a coffee lover or just want to have fun with some specialty drinks I would definitely recommend giving them a shot. Overall nine out of ten would absolutely recommend read more

Second time coming here and it never disappoints. The portion sizes are massive so my friend and I split the Cajun chicken and waffles, we ordered an extra chicken breast because we both love the flavor and wanted the protein over the waffle. Their pumpkin spice latte was to die for. Service was fast and friendly and the place is clean and well decorated. I try and come back every time I'm in town. read more

The best waffles in town!!! We only come here for breakfast when craving waffles, but there is so much more to try. The ambiance has a welominging home feel with indoor and patio seating. Staff is super nice especially Melinda, she is attentive and so sweet. Parking is tricky and it can get busy here, but worth the wait!! read more

Came here with my family, a baby and a toddler and it was a fun and delicious outing! Food was good, loved the waffles there was something for everyone including the kids. Yummy! The portions are huge and definitely shareable. The chicken and waffles are boneless. I would recommend the chicken wings and waffles. The chicken is more flavorful and juicer. The staff is friendly, the decor is lovely. Plenty of TV's for sporting events. Parking was on the street, I believe they may have additional parking somewhere else. read more

This was my second time visiting & Waffles & it's just as good as the first time I came a few years ago. I came with my of 5 on a Sunday afternoon & was seated fairly quickly. Parking is street parking which we were able to find fairly close. It's a good sized restaurant with several booths and tables. The women's restroom though has only 1 stall so there's a bit of a wait at times. The ambiance is casual and homey. They had several TVs around the restaurant for people who like to watch sports. Service was very good. Our server was kind and our food came out in good time. I ordered Kitty's honey lavender latte hot & it was delicious. Not overly sweet and nice and creamy. My sister ordered the ube latte hot & it was also very good. The ube flavor is light and not overpowering but yummy. Everyone's food came quickly and nice and hot. The waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside and light on the inside. I ordered the waffle cheeseburger which was deliciously sweet and savory. The waffles were the perfect light and airy with a slightly crisp exterior. I'd definitely come back again when I'm in the area. read more

I forgot to read my last review from 3 years ago - so rather than their specialty of waffles I ordered the Country Fried Steak and THEN I saw my previous and the disappointing Country Fried Steak and too late to change my order :(. However they have changed the "recipe" a little and it was a lot better, so I could eat it this time and it was fairly good. Is it authentic? Would I order again? No. Next time waffles for me. I do recommend the place, the service is always good and friendly and it has a nice ambiance if not crowded (today at 1pm it was very pleasant). read more

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. We were told to seat ourselves, which was interesting but maybe this is normal. The food was delicious and served in a reasonable amount of time. The service was ok. They seemed kind of busy and we had to flag the server down a few times. Very open room with tons of seating options, booths and tables. Will definitely come back. read more

Had a pleasant time for brunch here! Came on a weekday during brunch time and yes there was a crowd but not overly packed. Parking is street parking. The service is so friendly, welcoming and attentive. I got the pastrami omelette and 1/2 waffle. I really liked how simple my food was. It wasn't so greasy and the portion was just right. My waffle did get a little soggy in the end, though. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their more flavored waffles. read more

I'd call them to ask but 8:30 is pretty early, you'd probably have a short wait , if any.
