My go-to brunch spot for years with consistently good food and a place I usually enjoy bringing friends and family. That said, the service can be hit or miss. On a Thursday in May, I had my mom bring a friend here, and they had a disappointing experience. I was told by my mom and my friend that they were still clearly in the middle of eating when they were brought a to-go box and the check, as if they were being rushed out. It felt abrupt and a bit rude, especially since they hadn't finished their meal yet. My usual go to is loco moco or corned beef hash. BUT I've never seen beef panang curry with lava omelet. It did NOT disappoint. Beef was super tender. Panang sauce had that creamy peanut flavor with a slight kick of heat with flavor! Lava omelet was beautifully cooked and fun to eat. It is like a Japanese omurice which I've never had before. My only critique is that I would want Japanese sticky rice. Jasmine rice is too loose and Japanese rice would hold up to all the delicious sauce and lava omelet. So much flavor and nothing was needed like salt, pepper, hot sauce. My server Mint (I loved that she spelled her name for me) was super sweet and patient. It's a THIRTY page menu!!! She said beef panang was her favorite and I don't think she was just saying that. The owner is Thai so I love the little hints of Thai decorations. Their soufflé pancakes are the most delicious food you might ever try and I got the green tea flavor and it was to die for!! So yummy and not too sweet so it was amazing. I love this restaurant and grew up going to CiCi's but just a word of advice the parking is rough and it is very small inside and feels crowded. I did want to start with what I liked because we did unfortunately deal with flies bugging us our whole meal in the back corner of the restaurant and the other food is mid. I got a side of eggs and bacon and my boyfriend got a waffle, eggs and sausage and everything else felt rushed and a little cold/not flavorful. The sausage in particular was burned but cold? Stopped by for brunch on Wednesday. It wasn't too crowded around 11 am when we arrived. There's a small parking lot for the whole plaza, but I can see it getting full during busy times. The restaurant wasn't too crowded when I arrived, maybe 1/3 of the tables were occupied. The menu was very long and overwhelming.... let's just say I've never seen a menu with a table of contents before! lol I know they're known for their pancakes, so I definitely wanted to try some, but I also prefer savory dishes at brunch. I ended up ordering a custom frittata ($22.95) with spinach, portabello mushroom, and turkey breast for my savory, and the matcha souffle pancake ($24.95) for my sweet. The frittata came out first. The shape wasn't quite what I was expecting, as it looked more like an egg pancake (it was large and thin) rather than a frittata, but it was good. I got it with a side of fruit and plain bagel, so it was a relatively light breakfast. The matcha souffle pancakes came out after ~25 minutes or so, which isn't bad at all. The menu said to expect a 45 minute wait on weekdays, but no one else was ordering the souffle pancake so it came out much quicker than expected. I have mixed feelings about the souffle pancakes. On one hand, they're super soft and jiggly and almost just melts in your mouth. I really liked them from a texture point of view. I also thought they had the right amount of sweetness. However, even though it comes covered in a green matcha sauce and I'm sure they added some matcha into the pancake itself, I couldn't taste any matcha. If I had known that earlier, I would've ordered one of the other souffle pancakes where the flavor comes through more. Also, they are pretty pricey for what they are... yes the pancakes are massive, but it's the first time I paid more for pancakes than for my entree at brunch. My friend ordered the Mama Bea Omelet ($22.95) and really enjoyed it. It was his first time getting an omelet with salsa on top, and I have a feeling it won't be the last! The scalloped potatoes on the side were delicious as well. He also got the house coffee (called Cup of Joe on the menu) for $3.75 and enjoyed the unlimited refills. So Cici's Cafe is now Lady C's, and there is a difference, in my opinion. There are a lot of new menu items that I hadn't seen before. I tried the Panang beef omelet. It's like the Japanese Omurice. While the panang had good flavor, it lacked in salt. The scalloped potatoes also lacked in salt. Everyone at our table ordered something different and had the same complaint. The souffle pancakes are worth the wait and was loved by us all. So fluffy, soft, and delicious! Their sweet dishes are still on point, but the newer savory ones heed some work. read more

Pancakes, this place is all about their pancakes! And long waits... We got their Panang Curry and Lava Omelet along with their Straberry Souffle Pancake and Banoffee Souffle cup. Gave us a good savory and sweet brunch. We really liked it all. The curry dish is a must. Both souffles were good, so you should leave without trying at least one souffle. Used to know this place as Cici's Cafe -- I think it's Thai-run, and it's been a solid breakfast spot with some fun Thai fusion twists on the menu, like the Chicken Curry & Lava Omelet (chicken curry over rice topped with a creamy lava omelet), which I haven't tried yet but sounds really interesting. The Dutch baby pancake here is amazing -- thin, golden edges dusted with powdered sugar, piled high with fresh strawberries and served with warm syrup on the side. Randomly found this place and it was delicious! Big menu and big portions! LOTS of French toast, pancakes, and waffle flavours. They even have soufflé pancakes but we didn't order any. From Cici to now Lady C's the great breakfast food quality has not changed and I'm so glad they are here to stay. They have a lengthy menu with various breakfast options including all the typical sweet and savory breakfast items as well as Asian infused breakfast cuisines. I'm always a sucker for green tea pancakes. The green tea pancakes were perfectly made and the texture reminds me of a bite of cake since it comes in a stack of 3, warm, soft, and fluffy every bite. My friends ordered soufflé pancakes. If you are here for the soufflé hype just know there can be delays with making the soufflé pancakes, it states the time frame on the menu too. Pro tip: sit at the bar. It's the fastest way to get seated because the wait times can get wild. I usually pair the pancakes with the Eggs Benedict, which are consistently on point. I came here a few weeks ago with my fiancée first some brunch before our museum trip. She ordered the eggs Benedict which she enjoyed and I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich with fries. First things first, the fries had a hair in it but you decided to overlook it , since the food looked pretty good. The fries weren't crisp, and had little to no flavor besides potato if that makes sense. The sandwich looked more promising, but upon taking a bite I realized the bacon that came in the sandwich was rock hard. Not crispy bacon, HARD bacon, where it was un chewable (unless you're into rocks I guess) I tried to ignore it and pick out the bacon, but since it had cheese on it it was glued to the bread, so I couldn't remove most of it. Our waitress/server didn't ask how our food was , and even though I didn't eat the fries, or the sandwich , she didn't ask if anything was wrong with it or if I enjoyed my food sadly. So we paid the bill and left. The ambiance was nice, service was quick enough, but I left hungry and disappointed. If I came again I'd get something that doesn't have fries or bacon. read more

Formerly known as CiCi's, Lady C's is an absolutely incredible breakfast spot. My primary advice is to get here early, this place fills up fast and the wait can be long! To start the coffee here is fantastic! They have several different combination plates for breakfast, we've tried the pancakes, French toast, the potatoes, bacon (they cook it well done, and it's great!), and the fresh fruit, all of it delish. Service is friendly and attentive, we never needed to ask for refills. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food (excellent). Parking is available in the front lot (limited space) and there is a much larger lot in the back, but it's a bit of a walk to get around to the front again. Came on Monday Martin Luther king Holiday morning right before 8am. Once it hit 830ish it got really busy. It's been 4 years since we last came when it was called Cici's. Still at the same location cute brunch place. I made a review the last time and I have to laugh cuz my husband and I ordered the same exact entree of the Loco Moco Benedict and the Penang curry omelet. His Penang curry omelet was really really good. We chose the Banoffee Soufflé Cup and it was perfect -NOT sweet at call. I knew it was Big portions so i only ate half of my entree so i could make room for my Souffle. Service was impeccable, even with it busy they always stopped by our table. read more

Amazing food, the souffle pancakes are amazing, and you really do not need more than one per group as they are massive and meal portions are huge. You also don't need more than one pancake dish per table in general, as again, everything is huge here and you will most definitely still have left overs.
