Matcha Banana $8, saffron rose Latte $8
    Hannah L.

This place is GORGEOUSSS. It's a clean aesthetic, whilst incorporating middle eastern influence (turkish/armenian sand heater barrel for coffee) and old school classics (check out the tiny TV on the bookcase!) Drinks are a little pricier but worth a try! We especially liked the signature saffron rose latte $8, while the matcha banana $8 was okay. I definitely think the matcha lacked in earthiness and overall flavor, but the banana really shined through. I liked that the banana was still chunky and not completely blended like other places. The person working was kind, and you can tell hoe dedicated he is to his craft - he put together our drinks like it was art! Def coming here to study. Super spacious, and confirmed with the barista that there's wifi. Easy parking in the plaza on a Friday at 4:30pm.

a friend had posted about this spot opening up and it is very close to me so I decided to give it a try! I was very excited since I love a good matcha and there isn't a place that is super close to me that does it well (that ik of). I went to get some work done and inside is very spacious! I was surprised by how bright and modern the inside looked since you can't really see much from outside. they also had available outlets by the tables, which I really appreciated and makes this spot a great wfh location! I ordered the matcha banana ($8) and the matcha was actually very good! I wasn't a huge fan of the banana chunks as they felt unripe and were too big to go through the straw so it got stuck a lot. I like the concept of the drink, but I don't think it was executed too well. there is a $3 price diff between this one and the reg matcha latte which is quite steep esp for unripe banana pieces, but it was worth a try. overall, I loved the atmosphere of this place - spacious and quiet - for a great study/work location. there was only one person working when I came and she was very nice and efficient! I will def be back, but I think I would j order the matcha latte! glad to have another cafe opening up in the area!

We saw this place driving by, and thought to give it a try. Very nice place! And such a friendly staff. We got the baklava latte and the Dubai chocolate latte. They were both very good but I'd probably ask if there was a way to not make it too sweet, maybe more coffee? We also got a few of their pastries, but honestly, not a fan of those. They tasted microwaved and not fresh. I would go back tho because they had more drinks I'd want to try.

I had heard so many good things about this place and was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, when I came by, I saw a city closure notice posted on the door for operating without a license. At the same time, there's still a huge 'NOW OPEN' banner hanging outside, which feels misleading. It would be more professional to take the sign down until the issue is resolved. First impressions matter, and this isn't the way to attract customers.

Shams Cafe is the best place to go. I've been going here before it officially opened and been going almost everyday since then. I was not big on coffee, latte, tea, and or matcha but shams cafe has changed that experience for me and opened up to know flavors. The owners have been absolutely amazing and sweet Everytime we go in and it feels like a new home to me. The place is very calm and very helpful to do work, interviews, school and hangout. Come try this new place that's been out for 4 weeks going onto 5 weeks now. Try something new and different. Thank you shams cafe for coming into the neighborhood and changing the environment.

This place is a gem. They've only been open for 2 weeks. The coffee is phenomenal and the ambiance in the shop is great. I had the baklava iced latte and it was a real treat. Great place for getting work done or a good conversation in a warm and trendy environment. The owners are very kind and welcoming. I kid you not, I'd drive from home in Orange County just for this spot. I'll be back.

The cafe space is spacious and so aesthetic! Definitely a vibe

First of, the ambiance is incredible think of welcoming and pretty to look at. The owner (we assume) was very nice and welcoming to my husband and I. We were walking by looking for a coffee shop and ta-da! We found this pretty cafe the matcha was really tasty (the color was beautiful ) the quality was there and the service was quick. We loved looking around at everything. They offer a nice variety of pastries. I recommend the blueberry muffin *fresh and not too sweet*. Will definitely come back to visit since its local to us. Definitely stop by and visit and grab a coffee or matcha la

Yummy coffee and chill vibes :) I've tried almost all and they are all great! The salted caramel is my favorite

    Matcha latte

Matcha was a bit milky for my taste but then again I love a very strong matcha taste but definitely not too sweet inside was clean and so welcoming. Definitely going to be studying here seats are perfect for long hours of studying and music was actually very good so a plus. Service was AMAZING

Raspberry Rose Refresher (left) Dubai Chocolate Latte (right) Almond Croissant (bottom)

Drinks are great. Not too sweet. It's so beautiful inside too! We just happened to be at the Denny's next door and decided to come inside.

Dubai chocolate iced coffee and the salted caramel iced coffee.

I got the chocolate iced coffee and the salted caramel iced coffee -- both of them were amazing, no complaints. The ambience of the caffe is great -- simple and minimalistic, but captivating. Would definitely recommend as a workplace, study spot, or even just a place to go and grab a quick drink.

The shop is located in a plaza with decent parking spots. I can imagine on a busy day it can be hard to park here! Which was already a good start to our experience since Laidrey has terrible parking (no offense). I love Laidrey but wanted to give a chance to a place I haven't tried before. Upon entrance, we were greeted with a warm and pleasant "good morning!" The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The cashier/barista was the sweetest girl who gave me helpful tips on what to get. There was an older gentlemen who walked us through on the different pastries. He told us what to get warmed up and what would taste good with the coffee. I'm so glad the staff had actual good tips because man was everything DELICIOUS. The potato croquette I had was mind blowing! It was savory with hints of cumin and a little bit of spice which you can't really get something like this at regular coffee shops. My FAVORITE! The sweetened puff pastry with cheese felt decadent and good with the coffee but boy did it fill me up immediately! The savory feta pastry was something my husband ordered which he seemed to really like but wasn't a personal favorite of mine. The Spiced Mexican Mocha was smooth and creamy. My husband ordered this and it was perfectly up to his speed! I ordered "The Sam" which is a salted vanilla oat latte. I was so excited because it already had oat milk in it! This latte was absolutely incredible and she even added the aesthetic foam art heart to it. Overall, the environment was wholesome and it's a very spacious shop. Not too loud or crowded for me. I would definitely come back and maybe even do some office work here while enjoying my potato croquette!!

But since the same morning shift barista was working there today, my latte was as good as always.
