There's no communication about the process, left the patient hanging/standing without communication after the collected urine was given to her. Because Labcorp has closed so many of its sites, there are very long waits at the open offices. The people who work there are doing their best to deal with the overflow of clients, but they definitely seem to be overworked and understaffed. Labcorp should provide adequate personnel to deal with the number of people who need services. The wait at La Casa Via this morning was over an hour. read more

Lab Corp is a small little facility that does different types of testing. The front desk workers are helpful even as stressful as it is. Patients are always flooding the office, most of them are older so it's more difficult to handle as they don't understand the process nor do they know what information is needed. They tend to take longer because of that, however the workers take their time to explain it to the best of their abilities. They all have a lot of patience and understanding, which I can appreciate! I've been here a couple of times to do a drug test and urine analysis for my nursing school. Recently I came with my boyfriend because he had to get his blood work and urine analysis done. The workers were nice, but you could tell they were having a tough time with all the patients they were receiving. Some of the patients were a little verbal, but the workers handled it well. I love that they had the new check-in system, which helps make everything go faster. Unfortunately, we won't be able to see the results and would need to go to the primary care physician that we saw first in order to look at them or make a lab corp account. read more

I visited this office in early September 2022. The front desk staff was friendly, but the reason for the low rating is due to the very long wait time. I came here for drug screening (which was required to be completed within 5 days) and without an appointment since there were no appointments available within the next few weeks. There were already 5 people in line ahead of me at 9:50 AM before they even opened. I checked in right when they opened at 10 AM. They refused to provide an estimate of time in which we'd be seen -- they said that the check-in system will notify you via text messages when it's your turn. It was over 100 degrees outside, and they don't allow people to wait inside the building. My car AC broke, and I was getting symptoms of heat exhaustion. At 11:15 AM, I came inside to wait and to prevent a heatstroke. They told me to go back and wait outside until I explained what happened and they allowed me to stay. At 12:05 PM, I got verbally notified that it was my turn to pee in a cup. I went in the back and was out within 7 minutes. P.S. For drug screening, only come between 10 AM and noon. read more

One word: INEFFICIENT. Check in is via a computer kiosk. Receptionists are rarely at the front desk. I checked in, it looked like a long wait of 9 people ahead of me, so I went to a food place nearby, came back an hour later and asked if they called me yet and they all giggled and said no. After being called finally, it was the lab technician who processed my paperwork. The receptionists should have processed the paperwork while I waited and then the lab technicians job would be much easier and faster. This is how other labs do it at other locations which makes it a 30 minute visit instead of a 2 hour visit. As I said, totally inefficient. Avoid this location. read more

My Dr. Office sent me here to take some lab tests. I called them 2 times during business hours, to find out what preparations were needed, no one answered. I left a voicemail with all my information and questions since I needed multiple tests. No one called me back and it was 3 days later. Was here before 10 am. 16 people are in the waiting rooms, standing room only. They only have 1 person drawing blood and 1 other person for everything else. This is such a poorly run lab, I don not know why company's contract them for such bad customer service. Demand your doctor to draw tests in the doctors office. I came to this LabCorp for my drug test/urine sample on a December Monday morning. The process was fairly seamless. I walked in with my paperwork and, after checking in, provided them my phone number. I was instructed to wait in my car and that I would be texted when my appointment was ready. The employee quoted me a wait time of ~1 hour. I was texted after ~30 minutes and then I waited in the lobby for another 10 - 15 minutes before I began the test. Of note is the sign outside that says drug tests require an appointment and I believe this is repeated on their phone hotline as well. This is a lie. The email instructions from LabCorp corporate stated this location is only "appointment recommended" and they accepted my walk in test. This is important to note because there were no available drug test slots for 2 weeks on their web portal. I interpreted this as meaning that I would not be able to drug test at this location and had a headache trying to get my background checker to change my drug test location. Appointments: The sign outside says "Appointment required" for a drug test, but there were 0 drug test appointment slots open for 2 weeks from late December to early January. (The appointment slots only go back 2 weeks.) Customer Service: This LabCorp location does not answer the phone despite being open. I was put on a brief less than 7 minute hold and then put to voicemail. Parking: There is a really large parking lot in the back. Conclusion: I really admire their text notification system after checkin to notify you when the lab technician is ready to see you. At the same time, I cannot overlook the long wait times, not answering the phone, and especially giving misinformation about their drug test process posted on the sign outside and elsewhere. I chose LabCorp for my drug test because it's a big company with a standardized experience that I trust but is it really worth it if the standardized experience is always mediocre? I'm on the fence about whether I would come here again. read more

DO NOT TRUST THE ONLINE CHECK IN. I came here and did the online check in and waited in my car for over an hour. I finally went in and they said their internet was down so they didn't know who had checked in or not. Otherwise I would give this place a high rating. The tech at the front Gretchen was super sweet and apologized and immediately took me in once I went inside and told them my appointment time. She was skillful in drawing my blood and was very pleasant. Long story short, I recommend this location, but if you come here I definitely recommend you go inside to check in and don't just do the online check in. To be honest, it's kind of my fault for sitting in my car and waiting that long rather than going in but I was trying to be covid conscious and minimize my interactions indoors both for my safety and the safety of other patients. read more

I was assisted by Anita I believe. The whole process was great. She was clear with communication so you know what to expect. Very sweet and pleasant and great with the needle. Other other staff seem pretty easy going too. Very friendly. No nasty attitudes (which is easy to have when you're dealing with a lot of people). You check in (at the kiosk) with your physical ID and insurance card. They have you go to you car to wait. They text you when you're next. This keeps the waiting room limited to one or two people. Due to Covid, we all have to learn social distancing and wear masks. Furthermore, we all should care for one another because you never what kind of day(s) the staffs went through. With that being said, I was pleasantly impressed with the staffs today. We cannot see each other smile but our understanding and acknowledging the long line and wait time are taking a toll on all of us. TIPS (1) when arriving at this location, walk in to check in on the kiosk next to entrance door to the right; (2) once you checked in (providing your mobile number), walk outside and wait at your comfortable area (in car or parking lot); (3) you will receive a text for you to come inside; (4) confirm and ID yourself and tech will draw blood and VOILA (done). read more

Did walk in for drug screening test and waited an hour and a half. Oh boy, please do make an appointment. The small room was packed with people and there were 7-8 patients waiting before me. You do actually need to check in before 1pm for drug screening. So plan accordingly! If you're curious about time, I came in slightly past 11 and came out before 1. Drug screening was a urine test and it was incredibly uncomfortable for me as a female. I wasn't allowed to wash my hands until I have handed over the sample beaker. This is so the technician(?) who's waiting outside would know that I didn't tamper with the urine sample. She told me to initial on the paperwork and luckily there was hand sanitizer outside so I used it before using the pen. She kindly let me wash my hands after all the paperwork was done, which just took a minute. Overall, not a bad place. Parking lot was full and I was lucky to get a spot. read more

Tiny waiting room, disabled people are falling over for lack of seating. Patients have to wait outside in the cold, or rain for lack of space indoors. The waiting room is so small there is really only space for one person, if there are two, or three people there is no way you can stand six feet apart. The waiting room isn't even six feet wide! On the positive side the facility is spotless, much cleaner than the Labcorp on Cesar Chavez across the street from White Memorial Hospital. Also this location has plenty of free parking. If you're an early bird this location opens very early, but closes early as well. Very conveniently located close to dozens of doctor's offices, medical practices and hospitals. Saigon Restaurant next door makes the best Imperial rolls in the San Gabriel Valley. I watch them roll them in the morning, large fried egg rolls. Better than any Chinese restaurant. The new office is a great upgrade from the previous location, however front office staff is incredibly unpleasant to work with. Lab orders were faxed multiple times over time frame of 3 weeks and still having an appointment they had my elderly mother wait over 40 mins for an appointment due to not having requisition. Even after emailing them a copy than and there had the nerve to say nothing was received and decline to review lab requisition on the phone, instead they were devoted to decorating for 5 de mayo and catching up on employee gossip which everyone does I understand but where are the morals of this company ? read more

Outstanding service!!! Made an appointment online for my blood work. On the day of my appt, I checked in online and was waiting a few minutes before I was notified they were ready to see me. Everyone left before me and people who walked in left before me. They put drug test last priority and there were only 2 people doing drug test including myself. Drug test was just urine sample. Would be nice if your website stated drug screening is only done at a specific time. I arrived and only found this out from receptionist. She stated it's only done from 10-12p and the wait is long. You can't make appointments online they are a week out. My window to get this done is only two days. I missed out for day 1 already. If you ever have the unfortunate opportunity to have a medical appointment here, I would feel so sorry for you. I had an employment drug test screening that had to be taken at this location if it was to be paid by the employer and had to be taken within 2 days. It was right after the holidays so it was closed until the following Monday, otherwise I would've called and made an appointment. I saw that the hours were 6 AM - 3 PM and since I had work that day I decided to go in right at 6 AM. There was already a full waiting room of around 8 people right when it opened. They directed me to an electronic kiosk where I could enter in my checkin information. It was a basic tablet device that lets you enter information about your visit and also scan your ID. Seeing as most of the patients were elderly and/or may not have English as their first language, I feel like having them do it on a tablet might not be the best method. Anyway so I waited for 20 minutes and they called my name and told me that employment drug screenings can only be done from 10 AM to 1 PM. I felt like they should've told me this earlier or at least have it as a default setting on the tablet if I was putting in that I wanted drug testing and it was outside of that window. I don't know why they would designate specific times just for someone to pee in a cup. It's especially inconvenient that it was during work hours. I've read previous reviews saying that people waited 2 hours for the drug test. Thankfully mine was only a half hour wait. But in the waiting room I heard a lot of complaints about long wait times. Definitely search them up online and make an appointment if you can. The location is terrible. The parking lot gets full too quickly and it may be hard to find parking. The waiting room is tiny and they ran out of chairs when I came in. This is especially bad because most of the patients were elderly and had to stand up to wait if it was too busy. At least come up and offer them extra chairs, especially since it is a long wait. I felt like the workers were very unfriendly. Peeing in a cup is already an uncomfortable experience in itself; being surrounded by workers who look like the hate their jobs doesn't make it any less unpleasant. read more

I went to Labcorp in Alhambra due to me needing to have a drug test done for pre employment. This place is wonderful. The staff is excellent. Yes it does state drug test is from the hours of 8am-10am, I was there at 7:30am, and the receptionist asked what I was there for for and I explained to her it was for a drug test. And she asked if I had an appointment and I said I do not. The receptionists said, ok just please have a seat and we will check you in a bit. I did not have to wait long and they checked me in right away. I was in and out of the facility in less than 15 minutes. read more

Usually in and out of there within 10-15 minutes or so if you make an appointment. The only thing is you do have to make an appointment 1-2 weeks in advance especially for a morning time slot when fasting is needed for bloodwork. Staff is usually friendly and helpful from the last few visits. This location's customer service, check in process, and timeliness has been a lot more better compared to the last 2 Quest Diagnostics location (San Gabriel and Alhambra) that I went to which were both terrible. When they finally called me in, the woman helping me was very sweet. They took my back pack and locked it in a trunk while i used the restroom for the test. They gave it back to me once every thing was completed and sent my results quickly. read more

Look, it's not like I want to come here frequently, but if you need some place to go to do your labs (I had my complete blood work and urine analysis) and want to be in and out efficiently, I recommend this location. I went in at 12:30 PM (WITHOUT an appointment) on a Thursday, was immediately greeted, given a a cup for my urine sample, and as soon I was done my blood was drawn by the phlebotomist. I was in and out within 11 minutes (I timed it too, I was by 12:29 PM and out by 12:40 PM). The phlebotomist that drew blood from me was very pleasant and it was quick and painless. I didn't spend any time in the waiting room, but I could see how that could be complaint because the waiting area was TINY, maybe 4 chairs overall and even then it would be extremely small. But given their efficiency, I could see why they don't need a big waiting room they get you in an out. So I won't deduct any stars considering I didn't have to spend any time there. FREE parking lot in the back and street parking in front and it's plentiful. The reason why for the one star is that a worker was being aggressive towards me for knocking on the door for the restroom to collect my specimen, she said there's an old person in there.
