It's nearly impossible to find a location that you can get a same day appointment. And this place allows for walk-ins. Also, it's one of the very few LabCorps that are also open until 5pm. I came in at 4:35pm as a walk-in for routine lab work, I scanned my drivers license, waited for less than 5 mins, and was out of there in 10 mins. I prefer this LabCorp over any other.

LabCorp better treat her really well and appreciate what an incredible employee they have because I know 100s of hospitals who would LOVE to have her! I had to ask at least 3 times and their response was just "trying", yet I'm sure if I used that same reason as to why I was "trying" to be on time for my appointment but was an hour late, I'm sure I would've been charged for my absence. I don't appreciate my time being dismissed, especially without communication. But to address care quality once seated in a room, was fine. The staff in that regard was attentive and quick.

While I was impressed by the professionalism and kindness of everyone I interacted with, I unfortunately received an incorrect initial diagnosis. I came in for an x-ray of my pinky finger and was initially told that there were no breaks or fractures. However, I later received a call from PA Ben confirming that a hairline fracture was detected after further review by the radiologist. I understand that medical errors can happen, but I believe it would have been beneficial to wait for the radiologist's report before providing a definitive diagnosis. Additionally, knowing about the hairline fracture, I would have appreciated the opportunity to have my finger wrapped as a precautionary measure. Despite this, I want to commend the staff for their overall care and attention. I hope this feedback can be used to improve future patient experiences. Thank you for your time and consideration." Essentially, you pay for the healthcare you need. This is an excellent practice for people who cannot easily afford medical insurance and are shut out of our healthcare system. For myself, I enjoy the fact that The practice is personable and accessible, and I never have a difficult time getting an appointment when I needed it. I think many more people should be considering medical practices such as evolve, yet I still do not find that many. The closest analogy is somewhere like Care first, however, Care first is less of a medical practice run by one doctor and more of a mass healthcare system. Evolve is a medical practice, with an excellent doctor, competent staff, and a pay as you go approach.

There is no reason it should take two weeks to get an appointment. My last three attempts to make an appointment have each had a two week wait. I was also given the wrong colored vials for specimen collections, with little instructions. I had to go to their website to figure it out. IT's disappointing but dealing with LabCorp is just too frustrating.

Let me be the first to tell existing patients of CMI that the merger of CMI with RadNet (Advanced…read moreRadiology). I had an appointment scheduled 2 weeks before the merger officially took place on March 1, 2026. My appointment for an MRI was scheduled for March 3. I get a text stating that the MRI had to be canceled because prior authorization was not obtained prior to the appointment. The message said I was welcome to keep the appointment but the out of pocket cost would need to be paid at the time of service. When I called to say that a CMI representative told me authorization was obtained and the appointment was confirmed, I was told the merger took place on March 1 and the prior authorization for the appointment was for Chesapeake Medical Imagining (CMI), not RadNet and RadNet could not accept the prior authorization from CMI. The new company, RadNet explained that a new referral would need to be written from my provider and go through the whole prior auth process again!! This will delay the procedure another 10 to 14 days. This means I am waiting for a month or more for an MRI necessary for my doctor to evaluate and treat my condition. The doctor said he cannot ethically prescribe medication until he sees the results of the MRI. Not to mention that I was on hold with an extremely unprofessional RadNet representative (Amanda) for almost an hour while the rep went back and forth with the insurance authorization and billing department. This extraordinarily long hold time was NEVER an issue with CMI and scheduling and obtaining a prior atheization was never an issue. It seems like there is a monopoly with medical imaging because of this recent merger. I don't see these issues getting better since bigger seems to indicate more room for error and unprofessionalism. I have been a long-standing patient with CMI (14 years), but because of this merger and my most recent experience, I feel patient care has gone to the wayside and the professionalism was nonexistent. The good news is that I am a patient with Mercy and will transfer all of my medical imaging studies to them. To be clear, with this new merger of CMI and RadNet (Advanced Radiology), I o longer recommend this business to anyone. I gave 1 star because it was required.

So, I went to check in. The front desk was patient and kind with me. Once I turned in all my information and paid my copay, I was called moments later. The techs were knowledgeable and asked questions to make sure I was comfortable. I needed imaging for my doctor and had contrast (which I've never done before) but it went well. The day before I was stuck 4 times with a needle so I didn't want anyone who couldn't get it on the first try. When I tell you, the lady got me on the first try... I almost cried in relief. I hate being a pin cushion. From then on I laid back and let them do their thing. They explained everything to me and it was just as they said. I would go to them for everything no questions asked! I really appreciate having a great experience!

They know how to use email properly, and can provide test results via email promptly. We had to have a new water well drilled, and Environmental Testing Labs was actually the BRIGHT spot in the whole experience (we were with no running water for two full MONTHS, thanks to a horrible drilling company). The Environmental Testing Labs people are cheerful and intelligent. It's great to know there are companies like this, still in Maryland.
