Jessica, the phlebotomist, was very skilled! I have thin, floppy veins, and she had no trouble whatsoever! I was only poked once.

front person is unprofessional, making patients feel like I owe them their time. Why work in a place you don't even like?

Under no circumstances, should anybody use this LabCorp if they value their time. True, I was a walk-in. But I was a walk-in at 7:50 AM in the morning. Then the appointments started coming...and had priority...which I understood...to a point. The check-in process at the kiosk was extremely easy... and that is where the process broke down. The brand new LabCorp employee first was locked out of the system... And then informed those waiting that they were the only person working and that they were doing both admin and blood draw. I left after 30 minutes supremely pissed off having not had my blood drawn. read more

There is no better Labcorp location and this is all due to the wonderful Yvonne who works here. She works hard to get you seen quickly and makes sure your experience is good. I actually look forward to getting my blood drawn because of her - she is truly kind and just a lovely human being. I hadn't really had the need to see a medical professional in quite some time. After changing insurance back in the fall, and having an injury that could use some professional attention, I thought it be best to establish a connection. So after the initial medical visit, I ended up having to get tests done at Labcorp. They're sort of a "chain lab" that take care of patients when medical offices don't have a lab within their office structure. Locations throughout the greater San Diego area, this one was close and had an easy online appointment process. The day of my appointment, I arrived a little early, as some of the previous reviews mentioned it wasn't easy to find. Well, it wasn't difficult. Walked into the reception area and another customer was being assisted by the person in the window. They finished what they were doing and then the person at the window escorted the customer to the back of the office. The customer and the employee soon came out and I was called up to the window. Kristen, was taking care of paperwork, customer check-in and procedures in the back. She seemed to have a pretty good handle on everything. The office wasn't busy, but she said it could be when walk-ins show up. Which she mentioned happens once in a while. I sat down, got the samples sucked out of me and off I went. I am typically a really difficult draw-- with my veins in my arms typically collapsing as soon as the needle reaches the vein (my veins in my hands don't collapse though, so that became the go to draw site). Due to this and having had many seasoned phlebotomists who haven't been able to get a vein and end up digging around in my hand or arm, sometimes even hitting tendons or veins, I have developed a healthy level of apprehension in regards to having my blood drawn. HOWEVER, Juliette, who has 29 years in the profession, got the vein in my arm IMMEDIATELY -- and PAINLESSLY might I add. I've NEVER had a phlebotomist be able to get a vein in my arm on the first try, and I most certainly have NEVER seen the vials fill as quickly as they did. There were about 8-10 vials to fill and it took all of 5 minutes. I was entirely awestruck, and I feel much more confident and comfortable in regards to future lab work that I will need. The lab is hard to find with no sign outside. It is a teeny office with one person doing the labs and the paperwork. The biggest issue is the kiosk checkin system which made me feel like a number with big brother watching me. They have a kiosk to check in with and I did not want to scan my drivers license so I asked if I could show it instead. They refused. A few minutes I thought that it seemed fishy so I asked if I was undocumented with no drivers license if they would treat me. And they do labs on undocumented people, they just have to input the information, which she preferred not to do. When a person states that they do not want their drivers license to be scanned then a business should accommodate that if possible. read more

Had an appt in afternoon for pediatric blood work. Confirmed appointment, successfully checked in and waited in the car as instructed. After appt time came and went, we went inside to discover that the location was unexpectedly closed. No call, email, or text all day. We went to a different site which was less than accommodating. Ended up waiting over two hours past our appointment time for blood work on a child who was growing more anxious and upset my the minute. The staff couldn't care less about the situation in which they placed us. I understand that emergencies occur, but to not make any effort to notify patients or accommodate them is absolutely unprofessional. I would avoid LabCorp at all costs. If you have a choice, go elsewhere. read more

Absolutely no signage to find this place. Nothing on the first floor directory, nor on the second floor. Terrible customer service.

I'm so glad I found this hidden gem! I had to get some bloodwork done so I made an appointment for 4pm. I arrived and was immediately greeted by a kind lady at the front desk named Dawn. Checking in is very simple as it is all done at a kiosk. Within 5 minutes of checking in I was called to the back and to my surprise Dawn was also the phlebotomist! Yes, you read that right - she was doing everything by herself. I've truly never had a more painless blood draw, all thanks to Dawn's magic touch! The entire process took about 5 minutes so I was in and out really quick. She made me feel right at home by being so personable. I'll be returning to the Saxony location and I hope to get Dawn again. read more

I decided to come to this labcorp because the other one I went to in Encinitas messed up my bloodwork multiple times and had horrible customer service. And to my surprise it was one of the men that works that the other one and he again sent my bloodwork incorrectly to my doctor. read more

I just want to say that all the LabCorp Labs are so good ! Yes some are more busy than other's certain times of the day, BUT the one at 345 Saxony is the best kept secret ! But there is a catch. You need an appointment because it only has one technician because it seems they do a lot of processing there. So with that said, I have to give a special high 5 to Joe Hammer. He is the currant technician, and is the best technician I have ever had. I said "Should I make a fist ?" He said he was already in.
