Well, it's close to my house so that's a good thing, easy parking and the offices were very clean. As far as the front staff, I think they should find a job that makes them happier than they are here. I didn't see a lot of smiles, and I know that you check in digitally so they don't really need to speak to you, but it would be nice to get a hello. As far as the service once you get in the room, it's pretty standard. They take your blood. They take a sample of what they need and you're out the door. There's a bunch of them so I might try a different location and see if I can find a smile. read more

I had such an amazing experience at this Labcorp location!! I am TERRIFIED of needles and almost always pass out from vaccines or blood draws, so when I went to check in, I asked the man who was working the front desk if they offer a reclining chair and butterfly needle and he was very nice about it! The check in process took only a few minutes (I did have an appointment) and Robin, who drew my blood was SO nice. She was so quick and gentle!! I was fully expecting to pass out while she was drawing my blood but she kept talking to distract me. I even laid there for a bit after she was done just to make sure I was good, and the man at the front desk kept an eye on me. Had to come back again today for another test and had the same experience. Would 100% could back here read more

Waited 1.5 hours for my reserved appointment because they said I did not have a doctor's order. They neglected to tell me until I went up to the desk and asked why I haven't been seen. Two days before I received a email for Lab Corp saying that they receive the doctor's order. This was at the Encinitas location. The staff was not helpful at all and almost surly. They couldn't figure out what blood tubes I needed and when I finally got my blood drawn, the next day I had a large bruise. The office was standing room only and I don't understand why they allow scheduling if the scheduled time was already over scheduled. Horrible experience, rude, incompetent staff. Avoid the Encinitas location especially. Won't be back and seriously shocked at how unprofessional this office is. read more

The experience at the Labcorp location was very disappointing. The front desk appeared disorganized, and we waited for more than two hours before being seen. When it was finally time for the blood draw, the staff member was unfriendly and seemed frustrated with her job, openly complaining about a lack of supplies. The area where the blood was drawn was also being used as an inventory storage space, which did not feel professional or appropriate for patient care. Additionally, during the process, a woman in the next booth became unwell while having her blood drawn. The phlebotomist had to ask my technician to assist her. When she returned to take my blood, she continued complaining about the patient who had felt sick, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience did not reflect the level of organization, professionalism, or patient care one would expect in a medical setting. read more

I came in for urgent blood work this morning and the experience has been incredibly disappointing. When I arrived, I was told to check in on the tablet, but when I asked a simple question, the staff was extremely rude and dismissive. After that, they left the front desk entirely, so I've been sitting here unsure whether I'm even checked in. I'm a walk-in, and someone else mentioned they've been waiting since 8 AM--it's now 10:30 AM. This isn't the first time I've felt "punished" for being a walk-in, which is why I tried a different location today. Unfortunately, it's no better. There's no one else in the lobby, and I can actually hear the staff taking a break in the back. This is by far the worst service I've experienced. read more

We were sent over right after a doctors appointment after receiving some unfortunate news. As I walked in I approached the front desk, which Isabella was sitting at. She looked up at me and waited until I said something for her to acknowledge us in the room. Isabella, should really be trained on customer service skills if she plans to be in the medical field. Also, using your AirPods while on the job while drawing blood should not be allowed under any circumstances. Once she had the time (empty lobby) she called me up to see my aunts orders,she asked if she had a card to put on file in case she had a patient responsibility which I said no. She then moved her head to look at my aunt (disabled) and says "she doesn't have a card to tap" and I said no a second time. Isabella, just know your nasty and unprofessional behavior at your job made our morning even harder after receiving the diagnosis we did this morning. Do better next time. Don't go there to have a routine blood draw done! I can overlook the sadness of the dark, outdated office interior and the fact that I had to wait despite being on time for my appointment and nobody else in the waiting room. However, the nurse who does the blood draw is too much. She is cruel, quick and rough, which is why it will be painful and the spot will be bruised. She is polite and rude at the same time. Saying 'please', but her mannerism says she hates her job. I had many blood draws before and know how easy and gentle it can be. She yanks it in and you can't wait until it's over. I pulled away in pain on my first arm, so she did it again on the other side, blaming me for pulling away. Unbelievably terrible. Drive the extra miles to another facility, I implore you. read more

Jonathan was great! I didn't have an appointment but he squeezed me in. He did a great job and I highly recommend.

Plan ahead and make an appointment when possible. If you can't, this location allows walk-ins. Reading all the horrible reviews about the long wait and bad customer service mentally prepared me for the worst. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in to an empty office, be taken in for my blood works immediately after checking in, and had an enjoyable conversation with the lab technician. All walk-ins should be prepared for a longer wait. If your schedule does not allow for a longer wait, leave and make an appointment. People with appointments will be called in first. Makes sense... LabCorp has a skeleton crew who run the front desk along with doing lab work in the back. I understand I got lucky with my scenario, but even if I had to wait, I would have been understanding of the situation. read more

This was such a smooth lab process. I came in without an appointment and was there right when they opened. I filled out my information and was in and out within 20 minutes! I had read reviews about Juliette being amazing but didn't think I would get her since those were from a few years ago, and when I got called back, I noticed her name tag and I immediately felt like I was in good hands. I went in as walk-in. Waited 20 minutes, still no acknowledgement from front desk / nurses. Waiting room is windowless and crowded. Nurses were rushed and one male nurse was even talking down to a gentlemen getting his labs done. I walked out and scheduled an appointment at the Saxony address. Was in an out in 10 minutes, nice view of ocean from lab, friendly staff, easy check-in. If you are squeamish with needles or have panic disorder, avoid this location at all costs. This location is closed!!! I was able to schedule a 2:45pm appointment online through their website, received an email confirmation and was able to check-in with their carside service only to find out the office was shut down due to staffing issues when i walked into the building. I was unable to complete my pre employment drug screen and almost lost a great job opportunity. And when i tried calling any other location, especially the closest one, the phone numbers went to a voicemail. Labcorp should really update their website and not let patients schedule online/check-in at a closed location. read more

Very incompetent! The lady on a Saturday morning checking customers in had everyone waiting in lock step outside. She wouldn't let anyone in to use the machines that were set up to check people in. We all had to wait outside until she was ready to do it herself. Rude and not able to multi task. Unfortunately they ate the only lab open on a Saturday. My body tends to be uncooperative when it comes to giving blood, but she was able to hit the vein, draw the blood, and I didn't even feel it! The facility is nice. I went here for my employment drug screen, as well as blood testing a few weeks later. My drug screen was hassle free even though I did not have an appointment (just make sure you go during their designated drug testing window). The lady at the front is efficient and kind, while the man who did my drug test was quick and professional. For my blood draw, I went in on a Monday around 10:30. I had to wait, which I expected as I did not have an appointment. The wait time was not absurdly long as the staff works the front desk and preforms the testing. The woman did my blood draw and did a fantastic job. It's not fun to get your blood drawn but she was kind and made it as painless as possible. In a time of Covid running rapid, the lack of social distancing and the lack of front desk and patient communication during this required blood draw is abysmal. As a clinical office, they should be ashamed of themselves. It's been over 30 minutes with 12 people packed into a waiting room that comfortably seats 4 people with 6 feet norm distancing. Furthermore, they're in a clinical office building where they receive referrals from doctors daily... poorly executed and someone should hold them accountable. read more
