I have always coming to this location for lab work due to the convenience, professionalism, and competence of the staff. I've even recommended this place to friends and have brought my daughter here in the past when she needed tests. However, our recent experience on October 3, 2025, was very disappointing. The woman in the photo provided unprofessional and rude service. My family has always used the same insurance card at this facility without any issues. I had just completed my own lab work at this location shortly before, using the exact same card, with no problems. In fact, even last year, my daughter had used this same card at this location without issue. But this time, the front desk staff claimed that my daughter's insurance was not valid and insisted that she provide a different insurance card. My daughter called me, confused, and I was genuinely surprised. I immediately contacted both my doctor's office and hers, and they confirmed that the insurance is valid and that the member ID number can be used to verify coverage. What upset me most was that the front desk staff spoke to my daughter in a harsh and disrespectful manner, even though she calmly explained the situation. Despite being told by both doctors' offices that the card was active and accepted, the staff refused to acknowledge it and did not allow her to proceed with the lab work. Her appointment was at 11:00 AM, but after a long wait and no resolution, she had to walk over to her doctor's office to have them call the lab directly. By the time she was finally allowed to proceed with the blood draw, it was 12:00 PM. At that point, she was told the lab was closed for lunch and was asked to return after 1:00 PM. She ended up having to fast and wait over two hours just to complete a basic blood draw , all because of the unprofessional handling by the front desk staff that day. In healthcare, professionalism, compassion, and patience are essential. I sincerely hope this feedback leads to better service and improved staff training at this location going forward. read more

Thank you to the SUPER sweet and kind ladies for getting this girl in on a Saturday! Went to the Anaheim hills location at 7 am and I was turned away for no appointment and not even given a chance to say a word. Not this place! These ladies had a smile on their face and said even with no appointment, they would try and help me get in if I waited for the people with appointments to go first. Yep! Smooth running process- checked in and took a seat and they got me in and out in less than an hour! They moved people so fast in and out of that waiting area and treated everyone with respect and kindness. When you're getting lab work done you can be so nervous and worried and they made the experience great! Today's experience superceded my expectations. We arrived early for my mid mid-morning appointment, found a convenient spot right up near the door, and rode the service elevator (which is as clean and tidy as a regular elevator) upstairs to the fourth floor. Once there, the front desk ladies were *on top of things*, getting patients checked in and sorted. Fortunately for me, I had a short wait and was accepted before my time slot. Latonya (Latoya? - and my apologies for getting your name wrong despite trying to get it correct now) was amaaaazingly friendly, professional, and managed to get the blood drawn in no time. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Jasmine during my 2.5-year-old daughter's blood draw. I was very anxious leading up to the appointment -- the thought of traumatizing or hurting my little one was weighing on me. But Jasmine completely changed that. She was amazing -- gentle, knowledgeable, and brought such a calm, positive energy to the room. She explained what she was doing in a way that put both my husband and I at ease. To my surprise and relief, my daughter didn't cry at all and handled it like a champ -- completely unbothered! Pediatric blood work has to be one of the toughest things to do, since toddlers don't understand what's going on. But Jasmine made it look effortless. I had an appointment at 8:15am and I saw multiple people after me being seen before me so I went up to the front lady and she said I don't see your appointment. I told her here is my confirmation and she's like I'm sorry you're almost next anyways. So they had me as a non appointment patient. I was very disappointed. I was finally called at 8:50 and left at 9:06am. The lady in the front with purple hair was also very rude to every patient. I felt bad for the patients. Labcorp needs to hire people in the front to represent and have a friendly welcoming atmosphere but the lady with purple hair was not that. read more

Went here today with an appointment. The appointment times don't really mean anything, you still have a long wait. Also, I called to get my orders faxed over beforehand. There isn't an option to speak to someone but there's a recording with the fax number. I had my orders faxed over. Turns out that is NOT the fax number! Horrible establishment, I've gone two times and in those both times there system is always down so it takes an hour more. When talking to the front desk lady she looked at me and automatically thought I couldn't speak English and started talking to my daughter in English. I took my daughters just for a blood draw and when this lady Angelica tried to find my daughter's vein she was shaking and didn't find her vein at all. Later on I found out they were short staff so they had helpers from San Pedro that were way more helpful and they did not have a supervisor there at all. Hello! I would rate 5 stars however the lab was a little difficult to locate. I entered the front building and found the directory but I couldn't understand how to get to the lab office. I called the number on the directory and she said to go to the fourth floor and make a left. Entering the office there was one nurse at the front and she told me that I had to make an appointment to be seen. I explained I needed a drug test within the next three days and there was no appointments available on the website. She said I can go to a different location for walks in and that she doesn't control the online appointments. I checked in on the kiosk to do a walk in praying that they will see me without an appointment. It took less than 5 minutes for my name to be called and a second nurse explained to me that drug screening tests required appointments but she will take me in today. (Maybe she over heard that I was on my lunch break, thank you God) Anyways the second nurse was very friendly and courteous and she spoke to me like I was a very special and important patient. (5 stars) Then a third nurse maybe technician called me in, in less than 5 minutes to see me. She was very thorough and kind and followed testing procedures very professionally. (5 stars) I was able to complete my drug screening and head back to work on time. (5 stars) The office is pretty spacious with plenty of seating area. Lots of parking space but can be crowded. There were a lot of signage in the Spanish Language and also the kiosks was available in Spanish. The wait was relatively short and staff were friendly and great! The office receptionist is extremely rude and short with the clients . I drove my father there a cancer pt. Who is 88 yrs old and she was so rude to him. Then I asked if he could wait out in The hallway to stay away from all the people in the waiting room (again a cancer or and can't be around germs) and she said "ya, whatever I don't care, if you don't hear us call you then you will miss your appt". Then said next person. We waited for over an hour and that's with an appointment! Then the lab person left my father with a huge bruise on his arm, it looked like someone punch him! Check in was a little slow because only one terminal was working. The care quality was excellent and the phlebotomist was the best I've had (little pain, no guessing, just got the job done). Im never one to write a bad review or usually be impatient but here's my experience with this company. I tried to walk in, which the email I got from LabCorp said I could do, but the receptionist was very rude and short with me insisting there was no walk ins, so I left and made an apt online. I come in for my appointment a week later and check in at 1:10pm for my apt at 1:15pm. I waited an hour before getting asked to go in. I wondered why walk ins went before me and people with 1:30pm appointments also got let in before me. When I went up to ask the receptionist, she asked me the confirmation number, I told her I already checked in and she said they had everything they needed on their end so why are they asking for more information. I wouldn't recommend this location, choosing another location would be easier and more efficient. Do not recommend. I waited over an hour for an easy test that was time sensitive for a job I was starting. read more

I would give this place -5 stars if I could. Tried for weeks to find an appointment online but most appointments were WEEKS out or the most inconvenient times for working people. Over the past two weeks, I went an hour early and got in line before they opened on 3 different occasions but was told they had extended ETAs (1-2 hours). Today I went and they told me without an appointment was 6... thats right, 6 hours. The lady checking people in could care less about anyone and just told me I should have made an appointment. The lab team's behavior changed to bad treatment, a long time of waiting if you found and most of the time they are telling you there are no walk-ins available if you have no appointment scheduled. Today, the lady or the nurse that I dealt with was really mad or so snobbish by herself while she was not doing anything by another word she didn't mean anything to the whole office with the other friends. Had to do blood work as I am diabetic. This is the closest facility to my house, so I went on Friday. I got there before it opened and waited in line. They opened a few minutes early. That was the last good thing. The staff was very rude and didn't really help. They have an electronic sign in station that is only in English and people were needing help so I helped while I waited. The ladies at the front desk were arguing and the staff taking blood did not know who was next to have blood drawn. Anyway, have to find a new place to go cause this place sucked. read more

Initially, I went to the LabCorp at 1650 Adams in Costa Mesa as noted on the LabCorp locations sheet provided by my doctor, but when I arrived, there was no LabCorp! So I ended up here at the Fountain Valley location. I wasn't too thrilled to see the average 3-star Yelp rating but it's because of their older previous low-rated one star reviews. The more recent reviews are very positive. Lots of 5-star reviews. I came here today (late in the afternoon) for routine maintenance bloodwork. Apparently most Labcorps are busy first thing in the morning so they recommend coming in the afternoon. I didn't have an appointment. I just walked in. I checked in at the digital screen towards the far back wall. There's hand sanitizer and sani-wipes. I waited about 15 minutes to get my blood drawn. There's a TV screen up hanging from the ceiling that will show you when you're up next. They have FREE WiFi but it's not that great. However, without it, I have no reception (AT&T). The phlebotomist was friendly and professional. She drew my blood and that was it. I didn't faint! Yay. Kidding, I've never fainted but getting blood drawn isn't at the top of my bookmark list ;) This location has plenty of parking around the building, but most of the spots closest to the building were taken. Overall, I had a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back to this location for future bloodwork. read more

Worst worst customer service ever. I received an email with 5 testing sites with in this chain of custody. Never on the list did it say that this site needs mandatory appointment. So I get their and with the nastiest attitude no eye contact or anything she states you can go to Tustin I just started walking out and then mumbled under her breath I don't care what you say it's better to have one crazy person than 2 I will never stoop down to anyone's level, one day she will learn how to survive with higher level of intelligence, because I just ruined your day by not entertaining you. I had done walk-in appts with two different LabCorps during the pandemic, so on Tuesday I was in the LA area visiting my parents and figured I'd go to one near me. The first one I went to was closed, but their sign said by appt only. I called a bunch around the LA area that either didn't pick up or said they were not taking walk-ins and no appts available that day. I only needed routine bloodwork and I was beginning to panic because I had to get back to Henderson, NV where I go to school. I had been to this location before, so I called to see if I could come. I asked the person on the phone if they were taking walk-ins and they told me yes and that it wasn't crowded that day. I hustled and when I got there, there were only two people. I was so happy that they could take me! The two people in the front were very pleasant, and kind. My phlebotomist, Katrina, was so nice! Thank you all for taking me on short notice! I promise to make an appt in the future now that I know all locations do it by appt only at this time. read more
