Had blood drawn prior to surgery on May 29th...dr had requested that a Ferritin level be run with the order. The office visit and the blood draw went fine...the woman who did the blood draw was very nice and we actually had a nice conversation. Left the office with no issues only to find out once my lab results came back that the Ferritin level was never run by LabCorp and now (once I recover from surgery) will have to go and have by blood drawn again. Getting your blood drawn is not the easiest thing for some people and this level of incompetence is unacceptable. All they needed to do was read the order. Received a call from LabCorp today (after calling the dr last week to find out the results) asking if I wanted someone to come to my home or which office I would like to return to...to redraw my blood. Unfortunately since you have to do blood works per Dr orders, it seems like customer service and proper communication is not needed. It is a pathetic front desk with minimal knowledge of how to even greet people. That was the last rime. read more

Sent here for a pre employment screening. Paperwork from employer states to call before arriving. There's no way to reach the actual location we are being sent to. Our paperwork states to arrive from 9-3pm. We arrive at 2:40 and are told they stopped pre-employment screening at 2:30. We are told to leave and go to Laguna Hills location because they are open later. We also inform the employees at the desk our paperwork states we MUST go to this location. We informed the employees that NONE of their company website, telephone number, official paperwork or signage states they are allowed to turn us away on their own personal preferences to send us away. We had to escalate our concerns to a LabCorp supervisor and the employee behind the desk picked up her phone and did it for us. The employee brown beat us on there unknown policy and finally relented to follow their own policies. Not a pleasant experience. read more

Nice people and clean facility, but their phlebotomists aren't versed with hard sticks. I used this lab due to its early hours and proximity to home, but will switch to Quest or another larger facility with multiple working phlebotomists for early morning draws. I had to come back multiple days in a row to be drawn before 8AM (which is required for my tests), and their early appointments are booked out about a month. You'd think they'd have more phlebotomists than 1 drawing in the mornings, as it seems to be the popular time of time. read more

I went into the Lab Corp at 26691 Plaza Dr Ste 180 in Mission Viejo this past week and I wanted to relay my very pleasant experience. I had 4 lab orders from 4 doctors, that required 11 test tubes of blood. My attending technician was Maitha P. and she did an excellent job in sorting through all the tests that I required, making sure that everything was accounted for and then doing a very professional job of drawing the blood. She was very friendly and efficient and I want to thank her for being a very essential worker working on the "front lines" for us, the public. read more

I used to love this one but after what I just went through I'll be avoiding it. First off I had an appointment and got there 20 minutes early. I knew I'd have to wait but I didn't think a walk in would be seen over me because they forgot I was there! This walking came in after me and was seen after I was already 10 minutes passed my appointment time. Then I made the comment to them that they skipped me for a walk in and the response was well they are a pediatric patient. Now had this been a kid fine, this was easily a 17 year old "pediatric" patient. She just skipped me bc she didn't pay attention that I should have been next. She even tried to put another patient in the room with me before realizing I was still waiting! Then when she came to do my blood she missed, no big deal I have small veins I know I'm a difficult stick. The problem came when she dug around my arm with a big needle and hit my nerve! She wasn't even moving slowly with the needle and kept saying it's my vein there my be a scar. I took phlebotomy, I'm not a moron I know you hit my nerve. I told her that's enough and made them take from my hand as they are the easiest to see. I won't be back after this experience so long as she is still there. read more

Do not go here! I needed a blood test so I tried to schedule one but it was full so I tried to call to ask some questions about if I needed to fast or anything before hand. No answer. I called 10 times, no answer. I left a message with my phone number, they didn't get back to me the same day. I saw on google maps they were open from 7-3. I went on the website to try to make sure the hours were correct or anything I couldn't find anything saying otherwise. I arrived at 11:15 as a walk-in and the doors were locked. A tiny sign outside the door said lunch from 11-12. There was no one to talk to, no way to check in. So I waited. And waited. I went to use the restroom and then there was a line of three people. I asked around if anyone else knew about the lunch closing and they said no. Check in is on computer monitors, they are not willing to answer questions until you are called up. No help at all. They were also very rude and mean when speaking with people after they were finally called up. Extremely unprofessional. read more

I went to this location yesterday shortly after they opened. I was not able to make an appointment online for this week, so I took a chance and walked in. There was only one person waiting when I arrived. The office was very clean, easy parking too. Check in was easy on an IPad. The woman at the front desk was very nice and efficient. The phlebotomist, Mary, was exceptional. I did not feel a thing !!! I can't say that about most. Will definitely return if I have the need for more bloodwork. A+ read more

Great experience here. In and out with hardly any wait after making my appointment online. Unlike other LabCorp locations this one was not crawling with tons of people even though I came around noon. Moreover, they have a system were you check in from your car and they call you in when they are ready. The lady who drew blood was very skilled in finding my tiny vein. She was very cheery and really lightened up the place. She even opened various doors for a senior citizen who was just leaving. Parking was easy. Only reason why I am giving this place a one star is because the person that was in the front checking people in. Her name is Becca, and she had the absolute shittiest attitude. Over all, the place was clean, I had no trouble getting an appointment the day prior. However, people's attitudes and bad manners change the over all experience of a facility. I would highly recommend speaking to her so that she changes her attitude and improves on her lackmanner, or bringing in someone that represents the facility with greater demeanor. However, I was greeted and helped by Zahra which was who took my tests. She was absolutely amazing. Phenomenal above par service from her. She was absolutely lovely. I would give her beyond 5 stars. unfortunately, Becca set the tone for my first impression of this facility so I was upset going into my appointment.. however, Zahra left a lasting impression.. she is beyond professional and friendly. I've been to this location twice now and each visit was nice. I had to do a walk-in today because their appointment scheduling was down - I luckily beat the rush at 12PM and only had to wait 10 minutes. The tech that drew my blood for the titer was super friendly and really made the experience pleasant (I usually get very lightheaded or pass out from blood draws so I dread needing any sort of blood test). She made it nice and easy and I was honestly surprised at how much it didn't hurt and I didn't feel lightheaded at all. She took the time to chat with me during the whole process, which helped take my mind off the whole thing. Thank you for such a nice experience! read more

The Oriental woman working at the desk referred to me as "mademoiselle" which I did not understand because of her accent. The way I see it, if you can hardly speak English, don't attempt to speak French. Confidentiality was virtually nonexistent. This same receptionist called out patients' names, prices, and services loud enough for the entire waiting room to hear. 2 people were seen before me even though I arrived first. Great people here! We had just come (with several others) from the Saddleback Hospital LabCorp location where the staff was just plain nasty. When we got here we had to wait in a darkened hallway for 45 minutes before it opened but- the people here are very nice and very competent. There was standing room only and there were only two of them (almost 30 of us) but they were positive, kind and caring. Their positive attitude washed over the place and what could have been a nightmare was actually kinda fun. They drew blood from my difficult veins without missing a beat or causing a bruise. Came on a Saturday morning when they opened at 8am and it was packed - all 20 chairs in waiting room full and people were standing around waiting. "Amanda" at the front desk is terrible. I walked in and checked in at the kiosk. Then I went up to the counter thinking I would just hand her out paperwork (I thought they kept it by the computer, to enter the info). She took it from me and stood up to walk to the back and said "do you have an appointment" I said no. She tossed the papers at me and said I don't have time right now, I'm busy. I was like what...well in my head. But that was so rude. She could have just said hang on to those until we call you and sign the clipboard. Well we sat there and about an hour later she asked for the papers. Then still had us wait. We were there for a total of an hour and a half. They even called a few other people to the back that came in after us. I think she moved our paperwork to the bottom. She was so rude.
