Absolutely HORRIBLE! Raced over here and with a little over 10 mins before closing they locked the doors and sat inside refusing to open the doors and help a patient. It's not like we have a lot of options for other places and this company makes it's all MUCH worse of an experience. If you have ANY other options OR if your doctor says to come here: refuse! Madison - Outstanding Phlebotomist! I walked into LabCorp without an appointment, checked in, and was seen right away--no waiting time! Madison, a young phlebotomist, took care of my blood draw. I mentioned that I don't like needles and that I've even passed out before. She was so kind and empathetic--she immediately started chatting with me to keep me calm and distracted. My veins are not easy to find, but she located one in a tricky spot and went for it with total confidence. I barely felt the needle--her touch was incredibly gentle and precise. It truly was the best blood draw experience I've ever had! I learned that Madison was recently hired by LabCorp, and I have to say--they are lucky to have her! She's amazing at what she does and makes the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. read more

I wish I asked his name who was there early today. Super gentleman and carring. His been doing this for over 30 years. I told him my problem with getting appt for 8am it's hard. I was there at 6:20 am waiting 1st one. So I sat on the ground in the hallway. He came our and seen. Me said get up come sit in the office just like 15 minutes early but so kind of him. I got checked in simple at 7:30 and he did my blood work so seemless. I wish there was more staff like this that care and you can tell. I'm blessed it all worked out. My mom had her appointment today at this location. my complain is to the phlebotomist who took my moms blood. I didn't get her name unfortunately. She's tall, has a bangs and is wearing a pink scrubs. I know that doesn't help. Im sorry. I don't know if she tired or what. She is very careless!! She gathered her things and shes very sloppy. Toss things in front of the patient. When she was looking for my mom's vein she handle it very aggressively. She was jabbing at my mother's arm!! I even made a comment to her saying. Is it that hard to find? Her trainee giggle!! Then after that I can tell that the way she holds the needle is very firm. I knew that it's going to bruise but thats only my theory. After we left the room I asked my mom how is it? She said it hurts and she never felt like that before in her life after getting her blood work done. Now we are at home and my mom is in pain!! Do not go to this lab if you are seeing a Rheumatologist from UCLA. I was promised that my labs would be done and sent to my specialist at UCLA on August the 20 but the labs weren't sent until the 29th!. Therefore, my doctors were unable to give me feedback on my rare autoimmune disorder. They lied when I made the appointment for Aug15 and stated that the test would be sent by the 20th. Now I have to wait until February 2025 for a update. In addition, I had to drive a total of 5-1/2 hours to UCLA for nothing just because Labcorp lied. What a huge inconvenience and to add insult to mental injury of not knowing my current health status, I had to pay for all of it. My PSA, and humble opinion, don't go to Labcorp, you cannot get them on the phone, on their website when you research your own lab results, there are none to be found. NOT GOOD. Whitney Kumler is the manager. There is room for a lot of improvement starting with honesty regarding whether or not to actually take an appointment and guaranteeing that the lab work will be done in a timely manner as promised. read more

I walked 1.5 mile only to discover empty office with employees laughing and conversing in backroom. Sign stated this location no longer accepts walk ins and one must have appointment. No warning and no service. Zero clients waiting makes it look like a cushy job for some but no help whatsoever for patients needing lab work. Walked uphill 1.5 miles wondering why Quest or other labs around to compete. Went home to book appointments online. First available was 15 days in the future. Now I'll be meeting neurologist April 2nd without any lab results. Labcorp services nonexistent. IMHO. read more

The staff is really wonderful but the process and neglect of providing results in a timely manner and responding to calls or emails is a zero. This is a small unit office. On September 16, 2022 around 11:00 AM my husband David & I waked in to the Lab at 22032 El Paseo Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688. Immediately we checked in electronically and we waited to be called. Receptionist EDITH called me and asked me some questions about my order and that was it, I was called after 5 minutes to get my Test done and that was it. Right after EDITH called my husband and notified him that she didn't have his doctor order, my husband called his doctors office right away and after 3 minutes they faxed over his order. By then the Lab waiting room was filled with people that didn't have an appointment, EDITH decided to put my husband at the end of the line, the last one after everyone in the room, EDITH didn't respect his turn and she decided to make us wait 2 hours for my husband to be called and get his test done. When I asked EDITH why she put my husband at the end of the line she was very very rude and she said that she was doing her job in order. EDITIH was looking at her phone and wasting time. She didn't respect my husband turn and we had to wait 2 hours FASTING . Awful !! read more

I had a great experience here. I didn't have an appointment and they were still able to see me. I came in around 1:30pm. I liked how organized the place was and how friendly the lady at the front desk was and also the lady who did my blood work. As soon as you come in, you check in on the little monitors regardless if you have an appointment or not. It will scan your drivers license and your insurance card. I only waited a few minutes and was called right away and led to a room. Historically, I have issues getting blood drawn because I have small veins, but she was able to find a vein and it was painless. I will definitely come back to this location even though other labs are closer to my home. read more

Staff were very personable and friendly. The lady who took my blood sample, Rosa, was amazing. I didn't even feel the needle.

The 2 women working were so nice, and this may have been the quickest and easiest blood draw of my life. We needed 2 vials, and last time I had 2 vials taken somewhere else it felt like it was never going to end, and I felt like I was gonna pass out. My ffirst reaction here was "Wow, it's already done? 5 stars!" As weird as it is, yes a 5 star blood draw lol. read more

I arrived at 8:30 AM without appointment for routine lab testing prior to annual physical. Computer scan of my ID and insurance card. Within 5 minutes I was called for testing. The phlebotomist was a Russian Italian gentleman. Note: I had recently given blood at Red Cross. They bruised my left arm and had trouble finding a vein. Then had trouble with right arm too. I have been very lucky to go when they are not busy . I walk in and always am greeted by a couple of really nice girls who quickly get me back each time . I really love how clean and positive these girls are each tome I go yo the RSM office . Last year I had a not so hot office visit with my regular MD then I walked into Labcorop of RSM where there where positive sayings on the walls where you get your blood drawn and all I can say to you was ,BOY DID I NEED TO SEE THEM THAT DAY . I never thought I'd be writing a positive review for a blood draw!! Never...but.... This was by far the easiest, nicest blood drawing experience OF MY LIFE!!! Not to mention how beautiful the nature surrounding this location is. The gentlemen in the office were so warm, friendly and kind to me. I was there maybe 10 mins tops. The Rancho Santa Margarita LabCorp relocated from their beautiful, spacious location (29873 Santa Margarita Parkway) to a tiny cramped office building (22032 El Paseo) sharing the same parking lot as BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. They don't have the proper signage on their outer door to the parking lot, just a small sign up with pieces of tape. I I felt it was only noticeable by foot traffic, not drivers passing by. Currently during the pandemic, they are taking patients by appointment only. (I had an appointment.) I checked in online, as their email had instructed, and decided to peek into the office (5 minutes prior to my appointment time) to see if it was safe to wait inside since it'd be much cooler than waiting in my car. The sign on the door mentioned 6 maximum people at a time in the waiting area, and I counted 4, so I headed on in cautiously. Immediately I realized I had stepped into their waiting area mid conflict between the technician at the desk and a customer at the front of the line. From the sound of it, it seemed like the customer didn't have an appointment and was frustrated that they could't take her like they had in the past. Long story short, harsh words were exchanged and the customer stormed out. The next customer in line (elderly lady) didn't have an appointment either, so the same technician at the desk loudly exclaimed that she'll log into LabCorp.com FOR HER and make a next available appointment as she surveyed the rest of the line. It was clear that she wanted to make it clear that they didn't take walk-ins and wanted the rest of the customers to hear that. The third person in line mentioned that he had gone to their original location and that same lady stated out loud that they hear that daily. Anyway, to make a long story short, I was grateful that my appointment was a breeze with just a standard yearly bloodwork check and that I was dealing with another technician for the bulk of my appointment (other than the check-in). I have heard that the workers are friendlier at the Mission Viejo branch near Crown Valley, so I will most likely be heading there the next time I need lab work done. I'll take great customer service any day over convenience of a location. read more

The worst. Hopefully, I am never in the the position where I must rely on Labcorp again. This lab shut down with 10 of my samples and "of course, my results will still be available". Every single time I have submitted lab work, I have to contact them to request results. It takes weeks and weeks for the results. I don't trust them. I don't recommend them them. I FINALLY did my overdue labs yesterday, 3/18/19 for 2 doctors & I can't tell you HOW VERY pleased I was with this facility! In the past, it was never such a great experience & trust me when I say; this was like night & day. Back in the day, you'd receive a grumpy unwelcome greeting (if you will), a cramped & non-sanitary waiting room, etc. Won't bore you with the details. But NOW?! WOAH, a whole different story! Clean, organized, redecorated & redesigned with better seating, check-ins & the list is endless. But what made my day, was an awesome staff! Sorry that I only asked for one name (Louie) who didn't even cause my arm to bruise with the blood draw, but I appreciated the other young man who was kind & sympathetic to my every need as well. So THANK You LabCorp for cleaning up your past mess & making it easy on the patients... who let's face it... REALLY don't want to be here. xo read more

Big. Efficient. Cleaner than they were a couple of years ago. Growing. Their phone tree is wretched. Takes half of forever to get the right extension. Website improved. But still, their customer service is not great. Hopefully all their avid attention is on the lab procedures. Some docs only use LabCorps. There are lots of them. That's a plus. read more

Went in to get labs done for my 10 year old. This was an ordeal as she is queasy at the site of blood and has a low tolerance for pain. Got there to see that the dr had not sent over the order. They waited and kept the facility open an extra 15 minutes waiting for the dr to fax over the order. They were So sweet and patient with my daughter. Very grateful to them! read more

This location is the best. Always have a good experienced every time we come here and need our blood works done. From the Phlebotomists to their front line two thumbs up. Esp. Miguel, he was very pleasant and great in his field. No pain at all even after a few hours, didn't even get a trace of tiny marks of bruise.
