Corina and Vitalie run a wonderful home. And they hire exceptional caregivers like Sacha to assist them. They all work so hard in a field that requires everything from them, 24/7. My mom's room was always clean. They monitored her condition well and kept me informed. They kept everyone safe through the pre-vaccine stage of Covid (and beyond). The meals were tasty, and they were creative in their efforts to get my anti-social mom to engage and participate in activities. We said goodbye to my mom a few weeks ago, and while I of course have regrets, the one thing I have never regretted is choosing such a wonderful place for her to live out her last years. My dad lived a rough life and he didn't have many belongings and the one thing of his that I had while he was in the hospital was a quilt and unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it out there to pick it up although it's something small it meant the world to me They went out of their way and used their own money to box up the quilt and ship it all the way to me that may seem like a small gesture, but that really shows they truly care about the people there and I hope that give people some peace of mind, knowing their loved ones were truly cared for.

After looking at several locations we visited this home and were immediately struck by the obvious care they provide. We visited the home with our friend and she was also pleased with the location, peaceful setting and the care providers. We moved her into this home February 2021 and until her peaceful passing in late June 2021, were thrilled with the choice. Marinela and her mother (Vi) immediately fell in love with our friend and provided wonderful and complete care for her during the last days of her life. They consider their charges to be "family" and care for them accordingly. We maintained continual contact both by phone and in person, and strongly believe that this is the very best of what should be the standard for adult family care. We wish we could give them 10 stars instead of the 5 stars available, and anyone who choses this facility will be happy they did and can rest easily knowing their family member is getting the very best care possible.

My journey with this home and Madonna... Originally met with Madonna and I was excited to get the process rolling for my loved one who is diagnosed with ALS. Her facility is very peaceful outside. Due to Covid we were unable to go inside. I explained to her that he had Medicaid during the visit and she told me that it may be more difficult getting him in due to what the home charges and what the daily rate Medicaid will pay. Fast forward I push hard for Medicaid to do as much as they can to get my loved one into this home. They express that Madonna will need to submit certain paperwork to explain why the daily rate would need to be more than what they are offering. July 2nd Madonna agrees to come out and meet my loved one to assess his needs. July 7th I receive a text from her changing the meeting time from 10 to 9:30. The problem was that the communication from hire up was awful. To be specific to get information from Social Services or the Case Manager (who knew nothing about her case) was like pulling teeth. When I would call to get updates, it could take up to 2 days to get a call back, and when I got an update it was only to find out that they were not telling my mother-in-law what was going on or we got 2 different stories. When we were ready for discharge, it was rushed, supplies were not ordered as we were told they would be and I had to constantly be in communication with the Social Services department to make sure things got done. I actually had to have my daughter go by the next day to pick up supplies that we were going to run out of before Home Health could come to our home. As a first time caregiver dealing with this situation, it was traumatizing.

Prestige Care sent one of their vans to Peace Health Medical Center in Vancouver to transport my…read moremother to their facility after she had gallbladder surgery. On the way to the nursing home, the driver aggressively slammed on the brakes, and caused by mom to go flying forward while still strapped into her wheelchair. (This should not have happened, because the driver neglected to fasten the wheelchair to the floor ramp.). The driver NEVER REPORTED the accident, and the staff ignored it. There is much more to this story, obviously, but not enough room here to write it all. Bottom line, I have tried tirelessly to get a call back from the current director (there have been 4 since my mom was there), because I would like a copy of her medical records. She has recurring ailments now as a result of the accident, and Prestige refuses to acknowledge anything. This was in December, 2023, and we are still trying to resolve the poor treatment she received. BEWARE!

I received very…read moregood wound care for my amputated leg by conscientious, professional nurses (mostly Nicole, Joshua, Carrie & Serge ...), the CNAs (mostly Kelly, Adriana, Trinity), the shower aids, my RCM Alicia and the therapists. Transportation to and from doctor appointments were reliably handled by the staff. Overall, good people dedicated to giving quality care to both acute and long-term residents as far as I could tell. I'm confident I was in much better health (especially my amputation) when I departed than I was upon arrival. The only major complaints I have are these two: (1) more nurses and CNAs are urgently needed for every shift because wait times for assisting residents in distress are frequently way too damn long; (2) the quality of meals is routinely subpar at best (not as good as hospital food!) and menu variety is monotonous. Frequent visits by a resident's family can partially help alleviate these problems. Well, that said, I very much recommend Lacamas Creek Post Acute facility even for my own family and friends; from what I hear you could do a lot worse in the Clark County/Vancouver metro.
