Dear Lacoste, I would like to bring attention to a very disappointing experience I had at your Lacoste Desert Hills Outlet location with a person whose name is UMBERTO. I visited the store three days after my birthday and had a valid 20% birthday discount available in my online account. After selecting my items, I went to the register and asked to apply the code. The cashier checked with an employee named Umberto, who refused to approve the discount. What was most concerning was not just the refusal, but the way it was handled. UMBERTO responded in a very rude and unprofessional manner and did not provide any explanation. My birthday was clearly visible in the system, and every other store I visited that same day honored my birthday discount without any issue. After the incident, I called the store and spoke with another manager, who also could not explain why the discount was denied, which made the situation even more confusing. I will report this person all the way to headquarters and make sure he will be fired. I hope he reads this and feel worse. Very disappointed. read more

What is up with the low ratings here? Customer service by Justin was amazing. I was looking for a women's orange polo and there were none on the floor. I asked for help anyways and Justin checked online and in the back for me. At first he couldn't find any but he had help to look deeper and found it in orange and in my size!! Thanks Justin!!! FYI!! The classic polos are the regular polos you find in the regular stores. They are not made for outlet sale. read more

We had an amazing shopping experience at this Lacoste location. We always shop here and come back and for this trip, we had to exchange some of our shirts we purchased because I lost some weight and I needed a smaller size. The cashier who helped us by the name of Jalena, was very kind and understanding with our situation. She was gracious enough to help us find the proof of purchase through our email address so we can verify the amount paid for the items. She was very patient and always has a smile on her face, even if we came at a day when its extremely busy ( the day before Labor day). Over all, we were able to find the items we liked and added some other stuff in as well. My wife made sure that we ask for Jolena's name so we can make sure to give her the proper credit and kudos. Terrible! I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on Lacoste Apparel and have visited this location hundreds of time through out the years, the last (2) visits I have to say were a really bad experience with the staff, after COVID it's like no one wants to work! I made a purchase and when we got to our destination I realized the items were oversized, so I checked the Desert outlets website and it said they closed at 8:00, so on our next visit I stopped by to return the items, when I walked up the the store at 6:55 P.M. the doors were locked and the employees told me they were closed! It wasn't even 7:00, and I told them I only had a return that I wasn't coming in to browse, they told me to come back tomorrow, you can only imagine how upset I was and after the return the next day I wasn't coming back to that store AGAIN!!! read more

I'm really not sure, what the deal with this store is - complete space cadets that are not helpful and somewhat rude if not outright rude. as a customer, i expect a level of basic service - smile, answer my questions with out a huff and make suggestions that are honest and helpful. Very disappointed in the cashier of this branch named "Kimberly" . I purchased 3 shirts around $60 per shirt. I asked her nicely that I need an extra bag because one bag is a gift for another person the other 2 shirts is for my dad who's with me. She flat out said in a rude and demeaning way "no I can't give you an extra bag" with her eyes rolling and acted she's way above us. I don't know if she's a manager or not but her attitude needs to be addressed. My dad asked her why she can't give an extra bag.... she finally answered " cuz we're short of bags". If she had said in the beginning in a nice way that the store is short of bags... I wouldn't be this upset. Her attitude is just so unbelievable. She definitely needs to be retrained. The customer service sucks! If I can give -1 star I will! I left the place so furious because of the manager! His name is Umberto at Cabazon outlet. I bought 9 different items ranging from hoodies to shirts and I just asked for an extra 3 small bags so I won't need to wrap it for gifts. I also asked them if they can fold it properly but to no avail. The manager proudly said he's the manager and he won't give extra bags. He also didn't fold the shirts properly and just stuck it in the bag. If I didn't spend too much time choosing the items I could've just returned it. This is how little they treat the customers in this place! Avoid this place! This is the worst La Coste Outlet I've ever been too! Definitely not the same as rest of the other outlets I've been. All I ever buy from Lacoste are polos. To be specific, size 4 solid color polos. And guess what they have 'em here. It's great place for shopping for everyone (ladies, guys and kids too). Now you may find a better deal on Lacoste clothing on ebay but check with this particular store for certain deals and sales. It seems to be trend that big sales occur between Thursday and Sunday. Other days, prices remain at regular retail price. For example, the price for a regular polo goes for about $50 but on sale days the polos go for about $35. So if you can find a better deal, go for it. But if I'm in bind and I need a shirt for a night out at Morongo or in Palm Springs, I'll come here for a new shirt. Oh yeah, the store is in the Outlet store plaza, it's near Morongo Casino, so that's cool. read more

Good prices, nice selections especially the limited edition merchandise not available even on online stores. Just one thing, they forgot to remove the anti-theft device. I hardly noticed it for its size and the sensors at the door didn't detect it. Driving back there from San Diego just to have it removed is not an option. There is a lot of hustle and bustle in the store, but the variety and selection can't be beat for Lacoste. 50% off is worthwhile but it does have the vibe of a Gap store. Most of the associates don't even want to bother looking at you but the few that do help you are very friendly. Definitely get in and get out as fast as you can. read more
