They explained that the wrong non-Toyota clamps had been used and were overtightened (My oversight). They needed to keep my car overnight (huge inconvienence) because they didn't have a hose in stock (Really?) They then installed a new hose for $133 and performed a coolant flush for $179. There was an unexplained coolant conditioner fee of $39. Then after paying $475, I went out to check the car and they had installed the new hose with the non-Toyota universal clamps! Apparently, the service writer didn't know that clamps had to be ordered separately. I am beyond frustrated with lack of communication between the service writer and the techs and for the excessive costs for minor service. All would have been OK if they had done the repair correctly, now I have to bring it back another time, or take it somewhere else to be fixed correctly. Bottom line, if you're not in warranty, find another place to take your car.

The next day he called with 2 identical cars that were available and she went to the dealership and put down a deposit, made arrangements to pick it up 4 days later, and did everything to get ready for anew car. The afternoon before she was topick it up she was told that they never picked up thecar and it had been sold. No dealership should take your deposit money then fail to go get the car. Bennett really dropped the ball. They think they might be able to order one in a month or so. If I could give them a zero I would. This is not the first time that this has happened with Bennett failing to secure a car that they said was available.

With that in mind, we needed to be careful of the numbers and be aware of any fees we had to plan for. My husband found a car he liked very quickly and got in touch with the dealership and started working with Rick at  Frederick Chevrolet of Lebanon. Rick has been amazing during the whole process. He has been polite, honest, upfront, and trustworthy. He stuck to everything he told us, he made sure to detail everything out, and even became a great source of advice during the process. My husband was calling him, emailing, and even texting quite regularly and Rick was right there to answer every question fast and with every bit of information right up front. Mike stepped in on the finance side to help us work the numbers, understand the financing options, and get to a final deal. Not just any deal, but the best choice for us. He was knowledgeable, kind, and worked hard as we were trying to get the trade done quickly once we settled on a car. Mike worked with us very swiftly like Rick did, even making sure to check things over and get back to us while, I'm sure, taking care of plenty of other things. You can tell both Rick and Mike are smart, know what they are doing, and want their customers to be happy with the process and purchase. Day of, both gentlemen greeted us and helped us through the whole process. They stuck to their word on every step and made it seamless. There were no questions left unanswered, no fees slipped in, and no issues along the way other than our last questions- which they made sure to answer. The deal went smoothly and everything worked out exactly as they had communicated to us throughout. I am so impressed! We could not have had a better experience than working with Rick and Mike. When we decide to trade in my car, down the road, we will be going right back to Rick and Mike. There is a lot to say for being able to know you are in good hands. They have our utmost trust and respect.

If you are doing a lease trade-in here, please learn from my experience: do your due diligence and get every single detail in writing before signing. I traded in a GM lease early to get into a new vehicle, a typical pull-ahead trade, and we discussed getting my remaining final payments covered during the deal. Because it was a weekend, the staff claimed they couldn't get in touch with GM Financial to confirm how to handle it and told me to follow up. Here is where the entire process fell apart: * GM Financial stated to me that the dealership handles lease pull-ahead payments. However, two months after driving off the lot, I was hit with a final $1,500+ invoice from the financial institution. * When I brought this bill to my salesman, the runaround and confusion began. I received text messages with conflicting info, including claims that management "had never heard of such a thing" and that they were trying to contact a corporate rep. * After weeks of getting nothing but empty reassurances via text, I escalated the issue directly to the General Manager and the Owner. The GM explicitly promised he would look into it and call me back by the following week. He never called. A follow-up call to the receptionist (who assured me he would call right back) went completely ignored. Now, I am stuck holding a major bill because this dealership refuses to answer emails, return phone calls, or help clear up the confusion caused by their own staff. Once they have your signature on the dotted line, they might ghost you.

Scott was friendly , went and took pics and such and sent them over. It was later in the day (Unit just arrived, never hit shop or the cleanup which I was perfectly fine with ) Said we could come first thing in the morning 5/5. Even texted later stating we were coming up first thing. Scott said to find Ian , his sales manager as he wasn't going to be there. I said that's Fine. About 20 mins prior to arrival , I got a text stating " Hi Joe! My name is Ian. I'm jumping into this existing thread because Scott is off on Tuesdays. The Transit Is available. Its had a lot of attention since yesterday. It is in the shop today and then will go to the recon department. If you are interested in this van, I would definitely suggest coming to see it as soon as you can. Even if its not ready through the shop, if you wanted you could always put a deposit on it. I forsee this one selling before it actually makes it through the lot" ... I was only 20 mins out in my 3 hour total drive, no problem. I get there, unpack my family. Go in and find Ian, he said It is available. We can show you in the shop. Took us to the shop and looked , talked with my wife, I had cash , checkbook, everything I was to need. But I could tell he was hesitant , so I said what's wrong ? He said , "Well , I cant really sell it to you right now. The Director is now interested in it and I cant get ahold of him ( he was looking at his phone ) I said, OK..., but you just said it was available. He said look , I'll keep trying him and will let you know today. I still wanted to try to do business but I was so confused and what I just went through to get there (I work 60 hours a week in my day job and I run a business with multiple children) So he said he would let me know. We were forced to pack up, didn't hear anything for a several hours after getting home, so I text and said , Any news? He said yes, he thinks he wants it. He wont be able to make it in until the following day or after to say for sure he wants it but I'll let you know then. So I responded back, I don't understand. I have everything ready , he cant come for days to even look but this "Director" Can just step in and take away from a customer that Is willing and ready and was already there after you kept telling me it was available? I tried to call in and talk to anyone higher, but was un successful. A salesman named Jefferey answered, half chuckled and said "Well, When the Director says something , its just how it goes ".... No . This was handled so poorly. Saddest part is I have 5 daughters and my oldest is 16 & driving now and I was looking for a dealership to do business with that I could also buy her first car and the rest up and coming. I Just don't understand how a portrayed "Family Run Dealership" can just treat my "Family" as if we are trash after a Director steps in and magically takes it, yet he cant make it to his employment until days later to actually see it. I would advise to deal elsewhere, especially if you have to travel any long distance to look at a vehicle. Your Family and your time isn't worth anything to them. Even reached out to the owner asking if this is normal or not, however got no response. I've never been treated so poorly in an attempted transaction at a dealership in my life, especially with the thought of buying multiple vehicles. Deal Elsewhere.
