Next, we took a tour through the cave which was like most every other cave - cold, dark, dank with barrels of wine stored wall to wall. I still enjoy visiting caves though. It's a necessary part of winery visits. Next we went upstairs to the tasting room, and there were these exceptional place settings at all the chairs! Things got even better when the food came out. I really enjoyed this tasting with the food immensely! I must repeat this experience in the future. The bites were each so unique and tasty. The wine to go with were excellent! The original winemaker was the legendary Heidi Barrett who knows the formula for elegant, balanced and age worthy wines. I love the rose also! It's such a bright, pink rose of pino noir with a light, refreshing taste and smooth finish. If you're looking to visit an amazing winery with exceptional food pairings, this is it. Tasty dishes exemplary of culinary creativity and excellent wine should impress anyone. The room we were in was eclectic, yet cozy also. I hope to pass through here soon again!

When we first arrived we thought the place was closed? We were the only car and the only ppl? Where is everyone? Then our host Sean appeared and gave us such a treat! It was a private tasting. We had the place all to ourselves! I was wowed by it! Especially the views where we had our tasting, Just stunning. The wines were on the higher end but given the overall experience it all made sense. I thought they were delicious and I never wanted to leave lol.. I just wanted to stay and drink good wine there all day with that spectacular view beneath that beautiful tree.. but sadly all good things must come to an end. We don't take ourselves or our visits too seriously. If you enjoy wine, in my opinion it should be based strictly on your palate and what taste good to you. We aren't a pretentious pair in town for long visits but do fly up several times a year to relax, taste around (run a marathon on occasions) and enjoy yummy dining options in the area. With that being said, I do however fall into my creature of habit self and revisit many places that I love which is quite nice but on this trip specifically a friend of mine from Chicago had just been in town with his wife and I'd asked him for some recommendations. Sometimes it seems silly asking for recommendations as often as I visit but I really love hearing what others think about different places, value his opinion and enjoy taking the opportunity to explore this region in depth. I will say I rarely, like never ever drink white wine and I didn't exactly do my research on Stony Hill I just felt very comfortable with my friends recommendation and scheduled an appointment for us to visit. BEST DECISION EVER. Stony Hill is probably one of the loveliest places to date that we've visited in the area and our first on Spring Mountain. The energy is different here. Complete and utter peace and serenity from the moment you turn up their road, which we have been nearby before when visiting Bale Mill and drive by every single time we are in town. Every last thing about the Stony Hill feels like a little slice of heaven, even the short drive up is breathtakingly beautiful. I enjoyed all the white wines we tasted which was a bit shocking to me, because where I don't drink white and if I ever was forced to it would never be a Chardonnay it would be a Sauvignon blanc and I'd be lying if I said I ever sit around drinking Sauv blanc. I typically like very big bold cabs, nothing much lighter and definitely not white wines but that really seemed to change on our afternoon here. I was also very excited to try a Gewurztraminer for the first time. The weather was gorgeous and I haven't been feeling very well the last couple of weeks and something about their white wines really sat really well with me and my system. The entire experience was a pure delight and I'd say if you are in the area for big reds, don't care for whites at all - you'd still be doing yourself an injustice to not visit Stony Hill. I'm an outdoors enthusiast so perhaps, the fresh air, sunshine, chirping birds, trails, cutest little four legged friend on our tour, pool, deck, walking, talking, where all the magic happens areas, trying new lighter yummy wines made in neutral oak barrels just completely did it for me. The experience really could have shaped my opinion but I know if I hadn't cared for the wine it would be extremely apparent to me and that was not the case. The home, the grounds, the garden, the greenhouse, our tour host, I can go on people... but I'll leave you with this. Stony Hill is really special. I'm very much looking forward to revisiting during bbqs and beautiful seasons where we can purchase by the bottle and just hang out and read our books on the lawn. A fantastic experience at Regusci Winery, made even better by Desiree…read more This visit came together a bit spontaneously, and Desiree could not have been more welcoming. She hosted an impromptu industry tasting that ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. Thoughtful, engaging, and clearly passionate about the wines and the Regusci story, she made the entire experience feel both personal and elevated. The tour itself was excellent. The grounds are beautiful and have that authentic Napa character that feels both historic and relaxed at the same time. It is the kind of place you want to linger. A special thank you as well to Peter and Marci (some of their top buyers) for reinforcing what was already clear. I was overdue for a return visit. Message received - and well worth the stop. Between the fantastic service, the quality of the wines, and the genuine hospitality, this is a winery that absolutely delivers. Highly recommend making this a stop, and if you can, spend some time with Desiree. It is worth it.

The grounds are well manicured, history all around. Cabernet dominates the tasting menu but there is a wine for every palate. We tasted through at least 6 wines and enjoyed each one. Our favorite was the Block 3 and of course I made sure some came home us. Regusci is a well known winery in Napa. A definite choice for a great wine tasting experience.

We went through the history of the vineyard and learned some knowledge about the creation of the wines. All of the cabernet wine was delightful and bold, what a treat. It's a tasty, heavier cabernet sauvignon but still very easy to enjoy. We were offered a goat cheese and chutney bite to try the two wines with, which was a great little pairing. Following our 3 wine tasting at the table, we were taken over to tour the nice, cold room with the vats then ushered into a room full of casks that reminded me of a cedar closet. This one is a little bit off the main road and tucked away. Nice tasting room and a bit pricey ($70 for 3 glasses of cabs) but still a nice experience. While visiting Fort Worth, my friends and I had the opportunity to try Cade wine at dinner, and it was exceptional. It was so smooth and beautifully balanced that I made a point of visiting the winery while I was working in Napa so I could purchase a case to share with friends at an upcoming celebration. The winery itself is absolutely beautiful, perched on a hillside with stunning views. Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the wine. When I arrived, I followed the sign instructing guests to wait to be seated. I stood there for about ten minutes while an employee made eye contact with me multiple times and walked past without acknowledging me or even offering a simple "I'll be right with you." Eventually, I walked inside and was greeted with, "Are you here to buy some wine?" The interaction felt dismissive from the start. I explained that I wanted to purchase either six or twelve bottles of Cade. Before I had even decided, I was immediately quoted pricing in a way that made me feel as though it was being assumed I couldn't afford the wine. When I responded that I would take a full case, the tone of the conversation changed completely. Suddenly I was warmly invited to stay for a tasting. I left with the wine because I truly love it, but I also left feeling judged based on my appearance. I had stopped in while working and was wearing jeans, a work polo, tennis shoes, and driving an older work vehicle. Whether intentional or not, the experience made me feel that I wasn't considered the "right" customer until it became clear I was making a significant purchase. Cade produces an outstanding wine, and I sincerely hope every guest is greeted with the same warmth and respect--regardless of how they're dressed or what they're driving. Great hospitality should begin the moment someone walks through the door, not after they've opened their wallet.

Our wine associate, Phoebe was phenomenal,she was informative, friendly, funny and answered all our questions. We were seated in an amazing wine tasting room that was set up with two charcuterie trays along with our wine glasses. We enjoyed the wines so much we became wine club members. Out of the 5 new wineries we visited this trip, Baldacci Family Vineyards was our favorite. Looking forward to our first shipment and our future visits.
