Service is great! The main event in this bakery is the fruit mousse cakes. I ordered one of all of the fruit mousse cakes. Top three: cafe which is coffee bean, raspberry and banana. They have other flavors which go from mango, pear, passion fruit, peanut, strawberry, blueberry and orange. The tart ones have most flavor range. Nothing is rated below a 9 out of 10. More have exceeded 10 rather than disappoint. Looks of the mousse cakes are gorgeous which are 100 out of 10. For what you are getting the price is 10 out of 10. Depending on the fruit you order it ranges between $7-$11 dollars. If your lactose intolerant beware bc mousse is very creamy. I also ordered two macaroons: raspberry and dubi chocolate, both good and great price point less than 8$ each. Once again mousse has dairy so beware if intolerant. Lastly the mousse bento cake for 35$. It's a great cake for celebrations for kids or couples. Not large enough for more than about 3 people. It's a mousse cake so once again dairy. Got 2 cake pops for kiddos and gone in three bites, about $2-$3 dollars. Got an iced Americano and coffee was good but not worth an hour trip. However the heart straw made me smile. Flew from Colorado and drove 3 hours in total round trip to get these fruit cakes and I would do it all over again every time. Worth an experience. All together the price all in was 324$. The most delicious thing I've put in my mouth in a very long time. Go. You won't regret it.

Let's start with the fact we were missing one of our pastries. We ordered two of five different items, and were shorted a mango flavored pastry. It just goes downhill from there. The first thing we tried was the coconut ($14 each). I was expecting to be wowed by the flavor but it was just so lacking. I don't know another word for how plain it was. From there we sampled the mousse Cheesecake Mango Passion Fruit($9 Each). We cut two slices and the remainder of that one as well as the second one we purchased are still in the box. There was nothing mango or passion fruit about it. The taste was just off. Then we tried the peach($10 each), the pineapple($12 each) and finally the sole mango ($13 each). There was nothing delicious about any of these, no exciting flavors that made them stand out, and certainly not worth the prices. I was so excited about this place and now I'm just incredibly disappointed I didn't try one before spending $127 plus a tip. read more

Just go! Don't worry about the negative review saying it's expensive,if they were $5 they wouldn't be delicious or special! This is a specialty treat. The detail is perfection and the taste is perfection. They are not overly sweet or heavy. Slow down and savor this indulgent pretty little fruit shaped mousse filled delight. Don't over think it,getting one of everything like an influencer is a lot of pressure, they just do that to show you each offering, also you can go more than once right?! I love their crunchy mousse filled fruits. They are spendy, but I think so worth it. It is a treat, meaning you do not need to eat 6 a day lol. I have tried another local that makes these treats and Ladun is, in my opinion, much better. The quality of her crunchy fruits exceeds the other place I have tried, and I swear just keeps getting better each time I visit! TIP: do not expect the fruit to taste as they look. For example, the mousse filling is not going to be a strong flavor; it will be subtle, creamy, light and refreshing. There will be a small fruit filling in the middle of the mousse that more resembles the actual fruit. The raspberry will have raspberry filling, the lemon will have lemon, the pineapple will have pineapple and so on and so forth. The cherries, you will expect a cherry flavor; but the mousse is a light milk chocolate very delicate flavor, with the fruit filling. Not what I expected, but so delicious! Im very disappointed that i even have to write this review as i was very excited since everyone had been raving over how amazing this place and its pastries are ....but after the lack of flavor i couldn't let my initial reason to be upset go we travelled all the way from renton to try them and waited in line and i noticed they only had 3 flavors out i was excited to notice the raspberry one i was most excited for being there and when it was our turn i was lucky enough to have been next to order the last one but when it was my turn a worker from the back came to the front waved at her friend and grabbed the last one for a friend WHO WAS 4 PEOPLE BEHIND US MAY I ADD and put it aside for her i noticed the front desk person ask her for who it was and she stated for her friend too .... just because someone does not look your race it does not mean we dont speak your language so i was very disappointed when i asked if there were any more and she said it was the last one i then proceeded to ask if it was for an order and she stated yes only to later figure out that they don't even have that option and they let her friend pay for it and leave right in front of me for someone traveling from far away thats not fare at all i figured whatever i still got 3 great flavors to try mango , banana, and peach but when i tried them and then the no flavor hit me it was the cherry on top for me and they all tasted the same i was instantly mad i paid so much for that and the treatment also ...maybe me not getting it was a blessing in disguise it may have tasted just as flavor less as the others ... but i need to make sure other customers don't get hit with the same shock as me ...i will NOT be returning .... if they were to add more flavor it MAYBE would be much better ! Don't waste your money. 2 pastries cost me $27. It's insane I've had the ones in NYC for less and they taste 10x better. We got the mango and raspberry. The mango tastes so artificial like there wasn't a single piece of fresh fruit made in it. I spent so much and didn't even finish them because they were so gross. The raspberry was better but not by much. The inside is mostly just the mousse filling with 1-3 small chunks of fruit. The outside shell was so thin I couldn't even really hold it. I don't have a sweet tooth, so I very rarely eat any kinds of sweets, but these are something else! Ever since I tried their macarons I fell in love with the flavor and texture. But when they introduced their shell mousse desserts I hooked all my friends and family on these. Yes, they are on a pricier side, but so worth it! The fruit shaped desserts are beautiful and seem well made. I purchased raspberry, coconut/mango and peach. The coc/mango was too sweet for me, but I'm sure coconut fans will love it. The raspberry was tangy and creamy. The peach was my favorite as it tasted the most like the actual fruit and was well balanced and not too sweet. The ladies working there are very helpful and kind. The only reason it's getting a four star instead of a five is the $$$$. If they were a bit less, I would have purchased a dozen to share with friends.
