I've had Laduree in LA and NYC, but couldn't have visited Paris without stopping by a location! This location on Champs-Élysées has one side for sitting inside and ordering with a waiter/waitress, and another side for a quick grab and go cart and outdoor seating. We opted for the outdoor version at the cart. We got the 12 macaron box with the cutest Le Petit Prince collaboration box! The person at the cashier spoke fluent English and was extremely friendly and helpful in picking what to get. Laduree macarons are always so chewy and delicious, melting in your mouth! Standout flavors were salted caramel, passion fruit, and almond.
The wait to be seated was long, which may turn away many people. However in my opinion all good things are worth the wait! This was no exception. From the moment you are taken back to the whole dining experience to when you leave you feel a certain way that you really can't put a price on. Maybe its the stunning decor or the immaculate service perhaps even the food but actually i think it may be the whole experience in itself. Want to get treated like royalty, then do yourself a favor and add this location to your list! That omelette may look plain but i promise you it was one of the fluffiest omelettes i have ever tried. The bread service was spectacular and the hot chocolate compared to many of the other viral places. Now for my romance girlies that enjoy great photo ops, this place has so many! Even a mirrored staircase perfect for photos! I came here to celebrate my birthday brunch and I believe it to be a great place for any special occasion!
We went for high tea and it was exceptional food and service from beginning to end. We had so many delectible treats from savory to sweet in a beautiful setting and doting service. My kids loved it. This is the high tea to go to in Paris.
I stopped by Ladurée and it honestly felt like stepping into a little piece of Parisian elegance. The place is beautifully decorated and has that soft, dreamy atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and just enjoy the moment. Staff was friendly , wetried a few macarons and they were light, delicate, and full of flavour without being too sweet. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the experience,the presentation, the taste, and the vibe, makes it feel special, especially if you're visiting or treating yourself.

Located on the beautiful Champs-Elysees. Lovely pastel decor with cases full of bright delicate macarons! Laudree is known as a boutique tea house & known for their macarons, but we had a wonderful lunch! Laduree vol-au-vent was delicious & outstanding presentation. A few glasses of wine and finished lunch with delicious macarons & espresso. Lovely location, lovely atmosphere & lovely food makes Laudree Champs Elyses a must go to spot!
This should be on everyone's bucket list when they visit Paris if they love macaroons! It's a cool tea room and the decorations are on point here. We did not get a chance to sit down because the line was too long and there was also a reservations list. Thankfully, we were able to walk around the corner and go order directly to the counter to order, and we were able to find some open seating. There was so many different flavors. I was kind of overwhelmed because there were so many options and I just wanted them all, but I couldn't swallow the price lol. I would still recommend experiencing it and trying them out. They're really good as far as texture and the flavors!
Just wow. Laduree has been on my bucket list for years now. I am so glad that I was able to make it during my Paris visit. This place is amazing. Ambiance is like a fairy tale story. It is decorated in the most loving and amazing way. They have the cutest chairs and they have the nicest color(green). This cafe is usually by reservation based on my understanding, since there can be a long waiting time. We were lucky to get in with no reservation. Host told us the wait will be around 20 to 30 minutes which was fine with us. We were seated within the promised timeframe. Our server's name was Sunam. I hope I spelled his name correctly. He was amazing and he went above and beyond in providing customer service. I can give him 10 stars for the amazing service. For food, we ordered macaroons and coffee drinks. They were all out of this world. Macaroons were so flavorful and tasty. They were the best ones I have ever had. I would suggest asking your server for recommendations since they know which ones are the best. We asked our server for suggestions, the ones he suggested were the best one we had. All the staff were nice and friendly. We didn't have any issues with ordering and waiting time. This was an incredible experience for me. If I am back in Paris, I will go back to this cafe and try new flavors of macaroons.
tl;dr at their best, these macarons are unlike any you've ever experienced; however, for the least exciting flavors, it may be hard to swallow the $3 price Macarons were toward the top of my list of must-try Parisian eats, and the two shops that seemed to top every list were Ladurée and Pierre Hermé. Of the two, Laduree is better known for its classic flavors -- no surprise, since the brand was established in 1862 and is often credited for inventing the modern macaron. Nowadays, Laduree shops can be found across the city. I first visited the outpost near the Latin Quarter. Wooden tables and woven chairs sit underneath the forest-green awning. Indoors, the warmly lit indoor space encapsulates Parisian upscale cafe vibes: white marble surfaces, checkboard floor, minimalistic lime-green color palette, and classical music. The queue loops past a bright pastry display and a rainbow of macarons. Across all varieties, I was impressed by the light, slightly crisp cookies and full-bodied flavor. The moderate-sized pastries will each last a few modest bites. My favorite flavor was the Cafe, with a taste that rivaled a premium espresso beverage and a hint of brown sugary sweetness. I also enjoyed the eye-catchingly blue Marie Antoinette, which reminded me of a sophisticated iced tea with lemon. The only flavor that I didn't fancy was the Fromboise, which felt oddly artificial. Service is efficient, and there is no challenge for a non-native speaker. At nearly $3 per macron, a flight of flavors will quickly add up. Nonetheless, both the price and quality are better than similar shops in the States. Be sure to stop in -- even if just for a single, on-the-go macaron in the airport.
This so maybe the most elaborate Ladurée I've been to, I guess smack on Champs- Élysées what would you expect? It's spacious with tempting displays upon entry. Sprawling downstairs with a red carpeted stair that leads upstairs. Delicious pastries and sweets. I decided upon champagne with mine. Lively ambiance, good service. Might be a little wait to get in. Worth it.
Beautiful restaurant with faux flowers a bloom throughout and an adorable mint green decor. We didn't have reservations so the line was long but the wait worth it for the delicious macarons, tiramisu and drinks
The magic of having a perfect macaron on champs Élysées while looking at the arc de triomph is unlike any other. I have had several macarons around France and the world but I have yet to taste one as perfectly crafted as the ones at laduree. The flavours of rose, lychee, lavender or just plain chocolate are all made with the best quality ingredients and prove consistency across the board. You truly can't go wrong with any flavour you choose but make sure to spend a pretty penny for these pretty little treats. I promise your tastebuds will be thanking you even if your bank account doesn't.
Macarons are always a treat, and you can't go wrong with the ones from Ladurée. The store by Champs-Élysée is absolutely charming, and the elegant green or pink boxes evoke the feeling of old Paris. There's usually a long line at this iconic store. Always great to bring back right before you depart from CDG since they also have kiosks at the airport.
Walked in about 10 minutes before closing and thank god the line wasn't long! You can tell they were short staffed but the Two lady workers behind the counter worked very fast and efficiently to make their customers happy. They were still smiling, polite and apologetic when they assumed they were moving too slowly when it was customers being undecided as usual once their turn came up. They explained choices of boxes, variety of flavors and moved fast. I was amazed how big the entire place was. Seriously 3 rooms for macaroons? They had a wine/ bar area I believe as well as a sit down in the other. Maybe they had more rooms because I saw an elevator. Decor was detailed and beautiful. Time to chow down on some fresh macaroons. read more

Delicious, that could be the entire review. I passed by on my first day in Paris and since it was on my spouses list we stopped in. The building was charming and elegant all at the same time. It was like stepping back into time when people spent more time savoring the good things. The selection of treats is huge and it's a smorgasbord of delightful colors and scents as you make your way through the line. I opted for a chocolate eclair. When I bit into it it was a sensual burst of form yet creamy dark chocolate. Very decadent and enticing. I suggest you try it. read more

The very famous La Durée. It's a landmark right on Champs-Elysées boulevard. There is always a long line, but it's worth trying it at least one. The macaroons were good and the price at a little over 2 euros each isn't too far from our local bakery store. Definitely worth trying this out and snapping a few pics. read more

We visited the location at 17 Rue de l'exposition in Paris by the Eiffel Tower and it was amazing!! I'm not a macaroon fan but let me tell you, these were to die for!! We got one of every flavor and they were so soft, elegant and delicious! Definitely going to visit again when we come back. Laudree js a MUST visit if you are in Paris! read more
Being my first trip to Paris I asked a friend who recently traveled here where I needed to go for sure and without bating an eye she replied, Ladurée. So from that moment on I knew that I must find a way to visit one if not all of their locations. As luck would have in on our first day we found ourselves visiting the Arc de Triomphe and when I checked to see how far we were to the closest location I knew even if I had to drag myself there we would feast on Macarons that evening. Upon arriving after walking for what seemed like a million kilometers, it just seemed that way since we barely got any sleep on our red eye flight, I spotted the gorgeous architecture I recognized from the photos across the street from us. We carefully made our way across the busy Champs d'Elysées, and found our place at the end of the line for the boutique. The young lady at the door was very friendly and as guests would exit she would let guests in. When we were finally able to enter we were greeted by the warmth of the room and yet another line. Which was OK because the interior was even more exquisite than the exterior. The line moved quickly and before we knew it the sweet employees were taking our order. I chose 8 macarons. Rose, Framboise, Fruit de la Passion, Pistache, Chocolat, Caramel, Creme de Menthe and Cassis. We waited until we were back to our room to relax from our long day and indulge in these delicate confections. I opted to try the Rose first. I have had others back home in Florida but I was anxious to see how these would rank. They were perfectly shaped and when I bit into the macaron it had a very delicate crunch with a surprisingly flavorful bite of rose. It was perfect. I savored each morsel. While rose is most definitely an acquired taste, I enjoyed it very much and would have loved to try some of their other floral creations. While we didn't eat all of them in one sitting, we did finish them with in a few days and each one was better than the next. My favorites being the Pistache (Pistachio) and the Creme de Menthe. Ladurée is known for their macarons so get those for sure if you make a visit. The macarons come in an assortment of flavors and colors and make for a treat that is both tasty and tasteful. You can do dine-in or take-out, and there are lovely boxes at an additional charge to choose from for the take-out macarons. There are big macarons too, which are a cool novelty that make for great pictures, but I recommend sticking to the normal sized macarons since the big ones are really sweet. Aside from macarons, Ladurée also makes beautiful little cakes and other desserts, and they are all displayed on the first floor. If you do take-out, get in line and order based on what you see available. For dine-in, the restaurant has two floors of seating spaces, and the bar is a separate room on the first floor. The restaurant has a food menu so you can have a full meal and then get macarons for desserts. If you are not doing a full meal, you can go into the bar and enjoy a drink with your dessert. Dine in if you have the time. The entire venue is beautifully decorated to be reminiscence of the French neoclassical style and is an elegant environment to dine in at. However, service is rather laid-back and slow. Either way, there will be some wait involved regardless of whether you do dine-in or take-out due to how busy Ladurée gets. Ladurée stays open late, and it is not too busy super late at night so macarons may make for a good late-night snack before bed. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny as everything is quite pricey, but the experience is worth it. read more

I've had Ladurée more times than I'd like to admit ;) but never, ever first day fresh from the original Ladurée. I've had them flown home to me from Paris and New York and even more recently two have opened in Los Angeles but I still made a stop to try these and I'm so glad I did. They were so yummy! This place is just really special I loved being inside and even enjoyed waiting in line for a little bit just to enjoy the place and have that feeling of excitement and anticipation as we all wait to order the same little cookies. Ladurée isn't my favorite at home anymore, and I may or may not have liked another place more while in Paris but I'm pretty sure they'll always be a must for me if on the Champs-Élysées. read more
Super popular location to get some macaron's in Paris close to the Arc de Triomphe! The line was out the door and took about 30mins. They have a good selection of macarons, which all tasted amazing and melted in your mouth. And I usually don't like macarons, but these were the best I've tried! They also offered other baked goods in this take-out line. The decor and ambiance of the place was charming. I would definitely love to come back and dine-in or even visit their bar since it looked really cool. The staff was very friendly and they hand a menu of their macaroon selection while you are in line so you know what you want when you get to the counter. I recommend paying a little extra for the gift box if you want a little souvenir, as it's really cute! read more
A visit to Paris, France is not a visit without visiting the well-known Laduree. As beautiful as its storefront is, does not prepare you for how glorious it is inside. Granted, we were on a strict schedule and could not dine in for some tea and sweet treats. I grabbed some macarons to save for later. I ended up getting a few flavors but found that the Cassis was one of my favorites. The macarons were airy, light and delicate with flavors that packed a punch. Would I say it's something to travel abroad for? No. If you happen to be in the Champs-Elysees ... I say, "Why not?". Obviously, the price point is on the higher end, because of its repertoire but a little indulgence requires a pretty coin. Service wise, I was able to get my macarons and get out of there in less than 5 minutes- despite all my oo-ing and ah-ing at all the pastries and desserts that were in the display case. Did not find them to be slow providing or snooty at all. read more
Ladurée in Paris is on a completely different level than the location I'd previously been to in Toronto. My wife and I went here when we were in Paris last year. The Champs Elysées location is gigantic - It has a store and separate dining areas, including a private dining room. They offer an extensive menu with a broad selection of food, pastries, hot drinks and alcoholic beverages. The decor is upscale and elegant - it looks and feels like you were transported back to a royal household in the 1500s. The macaroons were extremely fresh and they came in a wide variety of flavours. The tea was also quite good. I don't actually like macaroons that much. They weren't bad by any means, they just aren't my thing, I prefer other types of desserts. For me, Ladurée is more of a place to go to for the experience. It's a great place to take a date. Four stars. read more
Came around from California... I've tried many macarons... and not sure if it's from the happy vibes here... but the french definitely do it best! Came with a tour group and they gave all 22 of us 3 macarons each. My favorite was the Marie Antoinette and two of their other teas! Can not wait to go back! read more
YES YES YES I am a fan of Ladurée. Are they the best in Paris I think that is up for discussion. But when in Paris why not experience it and make up your own mind. I love the presentation of all the delectable sweet goodies they offer. I like the location right on one of the most famous streets in Paris. I like the fact that you can stand in line and get your sweets to go or sit at one of the tables and order from the menu. Keep in mind you can also order boxes of macarons to go from your table and have them placed on the bill. Which might be a better option for those who would like to skip the line. There is a large attention to detail and the packaging of the macarons is perfect for gifting. I ordered some tea to drink with my sweets which was perfect since it was freezing outside. I like the macarons because they are not overly sweet which allows for one to really enjoy the assorted flavors. I will visit this place again when I am back in Paris and explore of the menu. read more

I came here in July 2019 with a group of friends. It was super crowded, but when is it not? This place is located in Champs-Élysées, which is known for being one of the most crowded and touristy areas in Paris. We waited in a pre-existing line, but it went by pretty fast. There is area downstairs to order the pastries to-go if you are in a rush, but we were in it for the full experience, and decided to dine in. There were only seats downstairs as the upstairs tables are for reservations. I thought the interior of the place was beautiful, but the tableware was lacking. We received a paper mat with the name Ladurée printed on it, and when the pastries were brought out, the chinaware was average in comparison to the architecture of the place. I ordered a cute little strawberry pastry and downed it with a tea that had dried flower petals sprinkled on top. Everything here is very pricy for a small amount of food. I spent almost 20 euros for just two items! The tea was a little too bitter, and although they provided a little piece of chocolate to put into my tea, it was not as good as what I was expecting. I did enjoy the cake. It was sweet but not too sweet, and it just looked super adorable. I ate it all up in no time. I recommend checking out the bathroom (kinda weird right? but it's super nice), which is on the second floor. The colors of the bathroom match the color of the pastries and it is very spacious. Me and my friends spent a good amount of time taking pictures in there lol. read more
American Tourist here. Do you know what Laduree is? If yes, then you pretty much have to visit this flagship store and buy a macaron just to say that you did. If you don't know what Laduree is and you don't really care about macarons then I don't think this place is going to be exactly life changing. To be honest, i'm not a fan of macarons but i've had a lot of macarons from a lot of places because my wife is a fan. In my honest opinion Laduree macarons are good but not really noticeably better than any other "good" macaron. There is probably a 30-60 minute wait to buy something and depending on who you ask it may or may not be worth it. There's also a restaurant and bar that you can check out... i can't comment as we didn't patronize either. Either way, if you are walking down Champs de Elysee you might as well stop in and take a look around if you don't buy anything. read more

The so-called original macaron shop, they have a restaurant to one side, a macaron bar in the back (where you can get macaron and alcohol), and then a wide selection of desserts, including the famous macaron. The macarons come in a variety of flavors, from a spicy scizchuan pepper, to a strawberry sour candy flavor, there was quite a variety of flavors. That being said, I didn't find the macaron to be all that amazing, outside of the pretty packing and unique flavors. It was interesting to taste and try, but it's nothing mind-blowing or spectacular. read more

I've always wanted to visit the original Ladurée ever since my first visit in the LA location! Beautiful interior, immaculate service, ... except that I'm now vegan. However, with the wonderful help from our server, I was able to order the red lentil dish that was vegan. My husband ordered le brunch, which included an assortment of macarons, pastries, drinks, and main dishes. Despite the big appetite he has, he wasn't able to finish everything, so I got to help a bit by enjoying the seasonal fruit salad, their granola, and the baguette, all of which were vegan. On our way out, I also stopped to check out the selection of pastries to carry out and found that their grapefruit timut pepper macaron was vegan! So, of course, I had to give it a try. The coque was super light, nothing like those I had before, and the sprinkled bits of pepper gave it a nice kick. Their chestnut jam also happened to be vegan, so I got one to try it back home to reminisce this trip :) read more
A place so good we came to eat here twice in one day! That's how we role when we really like something! We came for pastries around 11 AM and fell in love with everything we tried. It was simply amazing and I couldn't begin to describe how good everything was! They really nailed the tarts and really go above and beyond with their presentations. We then came for a mid day lunch and once again it was stellar. I had the club salmon, and the wife had the mini burgers. We also ordered two very interesting drinks that really helped quench our thirsts, but also appealed to our visual pallet. This place doesn't pull the punches, and I salute them for it! read more
Ladurée is the worlds most famous Macarons place and on our recent trip to Paris this was one of the places we had to visit. Located on Champs-Elysées this is a magnificent restaurant housed in a palace. The service is at a royal level and the macarons and desserts are awesome. Unfortunately for us when we got there the yellow vest protests had taken a toll and Ladurée had taken a brunt of the protests losing a few windows in the process. But even with that said they were buzzing. We had a short wait to get a table on the 2nd floor. Going up the stairs on a red carpet has its own feel and an experience that you must have once in a while. Most people complain that the pricing is at a high end which it is but it's actually pretty normal for Paris. 5 star location smack in the middle of Champs-Elysées and a must for every visitor to try if in Paris. read more
Definitely a place to visit while in Paris. We showed up without reservation, and the wait was not bad. The service was friendly and had a flair for presentation. I enjoyed watching our waiter pour our hot chocolates and onion soup. Everything tasted delicious. Onion soup was on point, hot chocolate was thick and creamy, and I never realized that I had an opinion about quality macaroons until eating here. Texture, temperature, and flavors were all perfect. Get the Marie Antoinette flavor. It was my favorite. read more
The macaroons are amazing. Absolutely stop, wait in line and buy a box... You will not be disappointed. There are many amazing places in Paris for macaroons, I understand this is marked the best and they are good... But compared to US... Anywhere in Paris is better. Hands down. However I really enjoyed the ambiance here and shopping on Champs Elysse is a treat. read more

No trip to Paris would be complete without savoring some delicious macaroons and what better place to get them than at the world renown bakery Laudree. This elegant shop on the Champs Elysee has beautiful dessert displays and the most delicious macaroons. They use the finest ingredients so your taste buds get a taste explosion with each bite. We ordered a box of 6 macaroons and cappuccinos. The macaroons were scrumptious. I would rate the flavors we got as follows: 1) Rose, 2) Pistachio, 3) Passion Fruit, 4) Orange Blossom, 5) Raspberry, and 6) Marie Antoinette. I highly recommend you try the rose and pistachio flavors on your next visit. They were by far our favorite flavors. read more
Once upon a time, a Paris vacation is not completed until you haven visited Laduree and bought a box of macarons home to prove that you have been there. Laduree is the macaron and pastry royalty of Paris. However, since it opened its branch in Los Angeles, I wonder why I visited at all. Haha. Nevertheless, my face lit up when I walked on Avenue de Champs Elysees and saw its beautiful storefront. If I knew they had a restaurant, I would have saved my coffee quota for Laduree instead of a random coffee shop. Please note that there's two separate entrances for the restaurant and the to-go order for macaron and pastries. Unlike most people that complained about its lines, I was fortunate when I visited on a Monday evening and only had a few people in front of me. All macaroons and pastries were magnificently displayed and I would have bought up the entire store if I lacked self control. The line moved relatively fast, so please be prepare to tell your server what you want when it is your turn, or you might have impatient tourists giving you the eye. Overall, everything tasted how I should have tasted. No disappointment. But like I said, I am blessed at the fact that I don't have to fly 12 hours to get authentic Laduree macaroons anymore! read more
We had high expectations that the quality of macarons here would surpass that of the Laduree stores in the United States. It did not. This may not necessarily be a bad thing as it shows that the quality of macarons is the same regardless of location. Still, given the extremely long lines, it's not a "must do" when you come to Paris. Also, they were out of the cognac flavored macarons when we came here. read more
I love coming to Ladurée for breakfast. True fresh French bread you can't compare. My favorite - Simple eggs benedict is transformed with perfectly cut/ toasted brioche bread, portion and neatness. If you're craving sweet they have a yummy brioche French toast/ caramel French toast or their well known bakery pastries cakes etc For beverages they offer fresh juices, cafe drinks and a list of fresh made tea combinations (no matcha) Service wise The waiter/ waitress have always made sure I'm completely satisfied or no hesitation to fix any misunderstanding. I will mention there have been times service is a little slow but I find this really common in the city. Just something to come accustom to. read more

On point. The macaron were fresh and tasted exactly the flavors they are. They were not overly sweet! Be prepared for a line but if you don't mind eating outside you can walk right up to the outside seating. They have space heaters. Coffee, rose, Marie Antoinette were delish! read more
This place is my kryptonite. A must while in Paris or honestly any city where ladurée is. I recommend making reservations for tea. Thankfully we were able to be seated upstairs for tea without a reservation. Waiter was friendly. Ordered macarons of course, fries, and tea. I tried the Ladurée tea and loved it. You definitely feel like a fancy, important person whilst there, which is fun. There's also an option to do bar seating in a sleek bar in the back. These are quite honestly the best macarons of my life. My favorites are the Marie Antoinette, lemon, pistachio, and vanilla. Make time for this lovely experience (maybe a couple times) whilst in Paris. read more
During our trip in Paris, we made it our mission to try and sample all the macarons at different price points. Although Laduree was delicious, we found it to be overpriced. The line-up for Laduree was crazy! They would only admit a handful of people inside at once, and as a result, the line took a while. It is not their fault whatsoever, but when we were waiting in line, we kept being pestered by a group of con artists asking us for money. They got so close that my sister ultimately found her purse opened at one point, and we immediately fended them off even more. We ordered a variety of flavours - vanilla, chocolate, coffee, pistacho, rose, orange blossom, etc. Looking back on it now, I would recommend sticking with the more traditional flavours, as the floral and fruity flavours really quite disappointed. It was all so artificial! The macaron itself is the perfect balance between that delicate crisp and mellow softness. The outside shell encapsules the gooey fillings, and it's not too similar to a cake nor a meringue. Out of all the macarons we tasted, it was the best in terms of that texture and bite. However, we found that Le Notre outranks Laduree in terms of taste - specifically, for the pistachio macaron, as that was the only one we tried. read more
