Pedicure was fine, they had a spa liner & the nail polish was intact but gel manicure was meh for the price. The top layer part for one of my nails fell off a couple of days later. Large reason why I will not be back is because they reuse the nail filers and don't clean them. I'm also not sure if their tools are clean. They rinse it with water for a couple of seconds (not even submerging them) spray some cleaner for a second and rinse for another two seconds and then place in the sterilizer only to be used for the next client in the next couple of seconds. read more

Avoid this place by all means!!!! Lady spa was closer to me but customer service seems to always be lacking - their staff likes to snap at customers like it's part of their normal routine (witnessed it myself with another few customers). Today marked the end of my loyalty to this place. I started with Tishi who tried to get me out of there in two minutes with a powder manicure. As she was about to apply the powder color 30 seconds into the manicure I asked if she was going to trim my cuticles that were quite thick. I literally got yelled at as she shouted "if you don't trust me go to another manicurist". I moved chairs to another lady named Anna who did not throw tantrums but left me with severely damaged bloody cuticles on 4 fingers and in pain! This place - Never again!!! I did my nails a week ago a powder gel and they are coming off like press on nails I will never be coming back here again. So I wasn't going to write this review because I try to be a kind person. See I'm a regular Ive been coming here religiously for almost a year and you'd think by know they know that I'm a great tipper! The lady who took care of me was really impatient! I showed her my design which was a simple French with a little gold detail. The French was absolutely sloppy (see pictures) I didn't even get the gold because when I told her she loudly complained. I felt so humiliated!! Everyone was staring at me. It's not like they were busy. If the place was packed I completely understand but it was slow. My cuticles are burning from her filing them down. I'm just really sad because this is the best place in the neighborhood and to receive so little customer service Sucks especially when I spend money on commute and 25% tip!!! HORRIBLE powder nails experience. I was recommended to come to this salon but the experience I received was so horrible I will make sure no one I know comes there again. Came in for powder nails (been doing them for 2 years) and they cut every single one of my cuticles. I told them I have sensitive nails and to lower the power of the machine but it still hurt so the technician used a nail file and managed to cut me every single time. I was in tears but I just thought it's okay maybe she is new but I won't be coming back. Then when she dried my nails they used a fan to dry them which I've never seen before but I went along with it. My nails were drying for 10m and the technician said they are ready BUT when I left I saw horrible streaks on all my nails and came back asking for my money back but they told me I just came for free nail service and am greedy! They saw my nails and said they weren't dry yet but then why did the technician put cuticle oil on my nails and lotion and told me it's dry after 10m? Overall I had to write this review. No they did not refund me. Yes they told a pregnant woman in tears that I just came in for free service and want free money. ALSO they allowed people without a mask to enter the salon. go to T&A Serendipity. They are AMAZING and I have no idea why I tried this new salon but I regret it. read more

Can't remember the last time I had a mani pedi, let alone during covid, but i wanted to treat myself for my birthday and support a local business. I did a walk-in on a Tuesday afternoon. Interior looks new, clean, and modern. They've added all the necessary precautions like screens at every station, temperature check upon arrival, and seating customers one seat apart. During the pedicure, they used a disposable liner to cover the tub so that felt sanitary as well. I did the $55 green tea spa pedicure and $11 regular mani. My technician was sweet, spoke English, and really took her time. She would not let me lift a finger. I appreciated how gentle she was because I've been to places where the workers do not care, cut your cuticles however they feel, and rush the whole process. My feet are now super soft. My mani isn't the cleanest in terms of the edges but that's not a big deal, all things considered. Please support! read more

I visited today for my 1st mani/pedi since the Covid-19 lockdown, almost 5 months ago. The salon was spacious and the staff was very welcoming from the moment I walked in. They took great precautions- all staff and customers had to wear masks, nail stations had plexiglass, pedicure chairs had a clear curtain, they were cleaning regularly, sanitizing tools and some were even disposable. They took your temperature upon entering, noted down your name and number, had purell accessible; and even with the required cap on number of customers allowed they also ensured seating was done every other chair to make for 6ft apart guidelines. The salon was very clean and also spacious, a hard to find in this area! Jessie was so nice, as I noted it being a bit warm (it was 97 today, plus wearing a mask makes it hard to cool down) she brought a fan and a bottle of water! Once was my go to salon but I think I just went for the very last time. This place used to be my regular, loved the ladies and their work but it all started with a poor powder dip that I got from an older lady didn't catch her name, I usually go to the owner or her sister or cece, but this lady did such a poor job on my nails that I just couldn't wait to get my nails fixed as soon as I walked out the salon. My nails were bumpy and uneven. I gave them another chance with a pedicure and it still was not the best. I went again last week for a pedicure. The lady cut the side of ny toe trying to get "ingrown" out I had which by the way I had none... she cut me so deep that my toes was just in pain through the whole spa pedicure process. I left for my trip and the whole time my toe was throbbing.. till now, I won't be surprised if this is infected. Used to be soooooo good but now I think they lost me as a regular. read more

This place is so unsanitary I was sitting getting a pedicure and the operator next to me over filled her tub with water while her clients feet were in the tub . She took a bucket and filled my tub with her clients dirty feet water. Who does that ? what kind of establishment are these people running. She said "she has to much water I'll give you some". I legit freaked out that was the most disgusting thing the owner was sitting and laughing saying it was an accident. There was an empty tub she could have poured the extra water into right next to her. This was so disgusting and disappointing. This business doesn't care for costumer satisfaction and loyal clients. They're full of attitude and always start arguments. People usually apologize in these type of incident not laugh and definitely not hunt you for money. I have no problem paying and tipping I always tip good since I'm in the industry. I went to this place and my bf gave the woman behind the desk $40 for my pedicure. She told me that a regular pedicure is $20, I later opted to get the cucumber pedicure for $33 + flip flops for $3, totaling $36. When paying my bf told the lady to take $10 for a tip, however I told her that I would determine the tip amount after my pedicure. They told me later after the pedicure was done that he only paid $30 and that I owed a balance! Then another lady told me to call my bf to verify and if I didn't they'd call the cops on me. My first and definitely my last time going to this place. P.s. Once I left, I met a man named Ruben and his wife outside of the shop he explained to me what he and his wife went through. He said he purchased a $100 gift card and due to the recently passed Jewish holiday where he couldn't touch money he paid her with the gift card. He said when he asked the owner Jenny if she could deduct the tip from the card as well she said no due to her policy. He also said she doesn't honor gift cards that are more than a few months old and they are constantly changing their prices once your done getting your service(s). They were amazing and super friendly. Many people came in and the staff was great at accommodating everyone and not having anyone wait. I loved how good with timing they were and I didn't even feel rushed. I live in Long Island and i will definitely be coming here every time I need a mani pedi. Don't be fooled by a nice renovation like this place. First off none of the workers know what they are doing at all. The only one who can probably do somewhat of A normal job is the "owner" who doesn't want to do nails . They all talk in Chinese to each other constantly which is very unprofessional and disrespectful. 2nd of all the prices are ridiculously insane !!!!! First the owner told me 45$ then when it came time to pay she said 65 $ and 10$ for polish. I flipped out. This is not how a new business who's having a grand opening should act!
