This place is very cool. It is entirely different from every other place in old town, and the ambiance is immaculate. It has a cool ocean/ surfer restaurant feel. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone. The servers are very nice and attentive. Food was very good. Nice music playing , fits the vibe. I wasn't allowed to use my digital ID in the year 2021, this is coming from the generation of expected technology , following this it ruined my experience here because I don't always carry my hard copy and plenty of other restaurants allow this form of ID , and it's a Colorado thing so tell me why y'all don't take it cause of a young girl who also used the app? Visited here a couple weeks ago after walking around Olde Town. Realized it's where Klines used to be and checked it out. Not disappointed! Vibe was very cool, staff was great and drinks were on point! Will be back to try more and take friends! read more

My husband and I live in the neighborhood and we are SO happy to have a decent restaurant to go to in old town. We had the tacos and cocktails and they were all great!! The food is expensive because it is fresh and higher quality, we do not mind paying more for good food and a good experience, we will be back for more! Chips and guac were good. Street corn, not so much. The margs didn't have much of a kick. And the "large plates" are $15 for 2 tacos, NO sides Tacos weren't too bad but not worth the $15 asking price. Overall, this place is okay but needs a major price adjustment. Last night was our first and last visit to Lady Nomada. Sadly, the experience was overall underwhelming and subpar which is too bad because my husband and I were looking forward to this place. The "made to order" guacamole arrived at our table just seconds after placing the order which made me wonder if the menu had a bit of false advertisement. This was confirmed when our bill arrived and the guacamole was not even on it! Here is a zen question: If an item is "made to order" but never ordered, how is it made? Our drinks which we ordered immediately arrived after our tacos and only after asking about them three times...Note to the service team, if we had alcohol in our hands sooner 1. I might not be writing this review and 2. We would have probably ordered a second round raising your check average. Oh the tacos. Yes, we knew going into it that we would be spending an average of $6 per taco. That is a choice we made. However, when they arrived (before the drinks and at separate times) my heart sank at the presentation. One of the tortillas was ripped and the plating was average at best. If I am to spend that much for a taco, you best believe I am expecting some darn good ones. I understand that new restaurants have kinks to work out and normally I am forgiving in the first few months, but unfortunately this experience was a flop and I would rather go to Tacos Veloz on Federal. I always say it is not the mistake, but the recovery that really matters. Last night, Lady Nomada made many mistakes, but no recovery. read more

I will admit I, like many Denver urban dwellers, am biased towards assuming almost all the best restaurants worth visiting in the Front Range are in Denver. Lady Nomada is a warning to the similarly minded to expand your horizons, as well as the distance you're willing to travel if you want to experience the area's best Baja Mexican cuisine. Located in Arvada's charming Olde Towne (to my surprise and similar shame, a destination in an of itself), you walk into this airy, BoHo-beachey space and feel like you've been transported into a Palm Springs haunt, or an idyllic Baja California beach town. The drink menu is expansive, and we indulged in 2 of their margaritas (G line and Elderflower Prickly Pear), which were perfectly balanced with unique flavor, and enough tequila to jump start your appetite. GET THE CARNE ASADA FRIES - whether as a meal, or as an appetizer, this was by far the highlight of the meal. The beef was so tender, juicy, and flavored, and it was topped with well balanced heat and salt. We also got the Birria and Baja Fish tacos, which were just as good. Snap a selfie on your way to or from the bathroom near the Instagram-able neon wave wall in the back. I had texted 5 of my friends to check this place out before I left. I'll be back. read more

Came here for a fun date night and instead was disappointed. My date was early by about 20 minutes and had ordered a drink, which he never received btw. Once I was there, we were waiting a while for a server to greet us and take our order. Since we were sat right in front of the window, my date pointed out our waitress who was in the group of staff members talking outside. He told me when the waitress took his drink order that instead of putting it in, she went straight outside to mingle and hadn't come back in since. (This group was blocking the sidewalk and door and I had to squeeze past them to enter). At this point it had easily been over 30 minutes since he first came in and so he goes to the bathroom. As soon as he left the table a different waitress came up to me and asked if I was ready to order. I explained that I needed a few more minutes for my date to came back to the table, which she did. Food was good and came out super quick after ordering it, which was nice, but it was odd that instead of our new server checking in on us throughout our meal and replenishing our waters, another server was doing this. After finishing our food we were waiting around for awhile for our check. When our second waitress had walked by, we asked for our check to which she quickly reached into her pocket, put it down on the table, and walked away. This happened so fast we couldn't even mention splitting it. We both found it strange too that we were waiting so long for our check when it was just in her pocket the whole time? We waited a while longer for the check to be picked up, but it never was so we had to get a different server to do that for us. We felt terrible, but didn't leave a tip because if we did, who would it even have gone to? Overall, the service was very odd and we were both very disappointed and wished we had gone somewhere else to eat. We really wanted to enjoy the place because of its atmosphere but wasn't able to because of the service :( read more

I've heard about this place, so I couldn't wait to try it. First off, let me start out by saying the atmosphere is the BEST. It's so cute and I well designed. The servers are so sweet, but are pretty slow even when there's only a couple of tables out. The first thing I didn't like was the chips. They tasted hard, stale, and were cold. You can see the kitchen, and they just have them out and sitting around and who knows how long they have all been there. Second thing is their drinks are terrible. They do not know how to make drinks. The menu is very limited. The food was just alright for the price of it. I've never seen servers crew change in the middle of having a table. So, who did my $10 tip go to? The sweet girl who served me almost the entire time or the server who came in the last 10 minutes?? The restaurant is still new and still has some kinks to work out, but all in all I'd give this place another chance. read more
