Havanna Catering has been an outstanding partner for our events at John Muir Medical Group. They…read moreare consistently reliable, professional, and easy to work with. I used Havana Catering for the first time for my baby shower this past weekend and had a really…read moregreat experience. I had heard of them before because a friend used them for their wedding, and since I plan events for a living, I've worked with a lot of caterers. For my own event though, price mattered a lot, but I still wanted really good food. After reaching out to a bunch of places, I went with Havana because I had tried their food before and their pricing was very reasonable. We ordered full trays of adobo chicken, lechon roasted pork, crispy tofu, paella, sofrito rice, black beans, corn, poblano mac and cheese, and plantains. I did bring in one dish from another restaurant, Jamaican oxtail, just because I know my guests are big foodies. The biggest hits from Havana were definitely the poblano mac and cheese, lechon, and the paella. Honestly, the mac and cheese was the standout. Everyone kept going back for it and I wish I had ordered an extra tray. What really stood out to me though was the delivery experience. The driver called me ahead of time, brought everything in, and set it all up. He opened the trays with gloves, added sauces, arranged everything nicely, and even put out utensils and labels. I've had plenty of catering deliveries before and this was easily one of the best. He was just genuinely kind and went above and beyond, and it made a big difference. Overall, everything went smoothly, the food was great, and I would definitely order from them again.

We found this Persian catering place on Doordash. It turns out that they have a physical…read morerestaurant in San Ramon too. I've just never seen it, nor drove by it. The Persian Chicken Kabobs are excellent. Between Santorini and Danville International Market I think Diamondbite's has the juiciest by far. Grilled to perfection. For the ground meat kabobs, I can only recommend the Beef version. The ground chicken was dry and overly seasoned - salty to the point of being inedible. The saffron rice is also good, though some more oil would be nice. They also offer extreme contrast of flavors - a side of pickled cabbage that's really tart and a single jalapeño pepper that's spicy for me. Definitely plan to try some of their other offerings. They ran out of Aush Resteh last time so it'll be something to look forward to forward too.

I ordered catering for a memorial gathering and specifically requested delivery at 2:00 PM. I…read moreconfirmed the address and delivery time by text as requested. At 1:45 PM on the day of the event, I received a message that the food had just been sent by Uber. Concerned, I reached out for confirmation but received no response for 30 minutes. The food ultimately arrived about an hour late. When I later discussed the situation with the owner, I had hoped for understanding and a simple acknowledgment of the mistake. Instead, I was met with repeated excuses and defensiveness. Despite the clear communication leading up to the event, there was no apology and no acceptance of responsibility for the late delivery. The food itself was good. However, what left the most negative impression was not the delay itself, but the complete lack of accountability afterward. Delays happen, but customers deserve honest communication and ownership when things go wrong. Unfortunately, because of the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this business to others and will not be using their services again.

Pleasant little place…read more I had been curious to check this place our for years now. So on my way back from San Francisco, I decided to stop by Trader Joe's to pick up some grocery's. That's when I rediscovered this place and decided it was the perfect opportunity to check them out being It was close to my dinner time, and I was getting quite hungry. It was late afternoon after the crowds had dissipated, which left me being the lone ranger. I was then greeted and taken care of one of the owners John. He was incredibly nice and gave me a little history about the family owned business and how they got started. All these years I thought this place was specifically for catering only, and that this spot was only for pick ups ect. Totally wrong. Cute little place with a nice little decent amount of tables and seating. And they offer a quite appealing lunch and dinner menu. Oh, and at some incredibly reasonable prices. I ended up ordering a glass of their Cabernet Sauvignon for $5.00. It actually turned out quite decent in taste. Glass was just a little dirty on the outside. For food, I ordered the Sourdough Crusted Chicken Breast with Bearnaise Sauce over a Rice Pilaf for $9.75. The dish was presented deliciously appealing. The Sourdough Crusted chicken along with the sauce, was quite tasty. Sauce could had been a bit hotter, though it was still creamy, tasteful and complemented the crusted chicken perfectly. The rice pilaf was unfortunately too dry however, I really enjoyed the dried cranberries mixed within it. The ceasar salad it came with was also enjoyable. Overall, I really enjoyed my quick little visit here. The owner was extremely personable and accommodating. The food was good, and the prices also seem quite reasonable. I will certainly be back to try some additional specialties.
