We received a deliciously curated and artfully presented box of snacks and gifts from our school via Urban Organics. It was such a treat sent by the school to accompany a Zoom meeting that normally would take place in person with food and beverages. Such a great idea to help re-create the in-person event vibe for remote attendees at a group event! I really recommend this approach to anyone looking to create community and a shared "in real life" component to a virtual event. Look no further! Brittany is catering perfection. I held a daytime luncheon for about 20 and hired her on reviews alone. Risky, I know!! But the reviews were RIGHT. Brittany arranged not just the amazing food but the beverages, bartender, kitchen and serving staff, some decor, signage for menu and ALL rentals (which were lovely). Guests really complimented the food and service. They liked my sangria, too, but that's a secret recipe! Only caveats-she's not cheap but no good caterer is (and she's worth it) and she can be a bit hard to reach at times. read more

My husband hired Urban Organics for my 40th surprise birthday party on Saturday, September 24th. My husband knows I am very hard to please when it comes to event planning and hypercritical on stuff because - i do not settle for less. So just imagine what my hubby went through looking for the perfect vendor for this event. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Everyone loved the appetizers, my husband selected from the choices and of course the meal served itself were delectable. It was a party of 30 people and they gave glowing remarks on the food. They asked often where we found Brit! Although I didn't deal with Brit directly... can't ask for a better caterer to host this milestone. I had a lot of fun and I felt loved by having an intimate celebration with all the people I care about. I was Ecstatic because Britney didn't disappoint my tummy and the guests vividly remember how good every item on the menu was. I can say that the food was better than the food we had at our wedding. That's a total complement, eh! THE ONLY Area that needs improvement: Connect with your client more often that usual. You made him nervous quite a few times. I needed a Caterer for my mothers memorial service. The one my mom had chosen went out of business. It was back to the drawing board when timing was tight. I looked on line, and chose three Caterer's to inquire. When Brittany responded, I knew I needed to look no further. She came back quickly with a proposal that included a sample menu, floral arrangements, and service. Communication was quick, concise and flexible as details on attendance, food allergies and preferences emerged. The day of the event, her team were on time, quietly arranging and decorating tables, preparing the food, bar and service area. The staff were friendly, and professional! The food was prepared on site, fresh, beautifully displayed, delicious and plentiful. The clean up was immaculate. "Like it never even happened." It is a rip off!!! $96 for a plate of cookies I ordered a plate if cookies, 4 different types I asked it to be delivered at home I was charged $96 for a plate! I was planning to try the cookies and order a big catering for an event Needles to say, that I am not interested in doing business with this lady Furthermore, the cookies are OK, nothing special. She and her fabulous team just catered our 7/16 wedding for 100 people and it was a resounding success. No less than 10 people came up to us during and after the wedding and said "This was hands down the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding ever!!!!" Guests continue to tell us how delicious our food was. We were so delighted to hear that and we agree -- the food was incredibly delicious -- organic, local, sustainable and gourmet. We still talk about the bbq bourbon pulled pork she made! YUM. Brittany is the type of vendor you want on your side when you are planning a wedding. She was beyond helpful, reassuring, easy to communicate with and super prompt, beyond organized and thorough, generous, warm and super nice and fun!!!! Catering is such a big deal for a wedding and I honestly didn't stress about it that much because I knew Brittany had it handled and we were in good hands -- I was so right, she had it on lock! Day of the wedding, everything was seamless and literally perfect. Her team, and servers and bartenders were incredible and friendly and they made us and our guests feel amazing. We had over 20 people with food allergies and she had no problem accommodating those guests - we gave her a list of those guests, and her servers found the people at the tables and brought them customized items based on their needs (i.e. mac & cheese w/o bacon if they are vegetarian). They were so appreciative and so I am!!! She also assigned a specific server to my wife and I to follow us around and brings us appetizers and drinks during photos. He anticipated my wife's and my every need. I felt so taken care of and VIP!!! He wouldn't even let me champagne glass be half full! I felt like a queen. Her staff handled all logistics seamlessly and the set up was beautiful and better than I could have imagined. We also did family style service and our guests loved it and we thought it was perfect. It felt like we were at a big family dinner and it really facilitated conversation and everyone was able to eat as much as they wanted of whatever items they wanted. We also did our rentals through Brittany using a recommended vendor of hers, and booked through her account and she double-checked our rentals to make sure we ordered everything we needed to (if she didn't already have it covered through what she was bringing). That was such a huge relief because I was afraid we'd forget something. I honestly just can't praise Brittany enough!!! It was a perfect experience and our food was superb. Brittany was superb and extremely resourceful and creative. I cannot say enough food things about Brittany and her catering team. One, she is incredibly skilled when it comes to the coordination side of things. My husband is in the restaurant business, and we have a lot of foodie friends--people were raving about the food that Brittany and her team prepared. We were absolutely delighted with every step in the process, from the tasting, to the selection of dishes, to the pricing, to the back and forth communication over details. After the tasting, there was one dish that we wanted to change, but we felt so comfortable with Brittany's expertise that we just told her to provide whatever was best for the season at the time. We could not have been in better hands. Plus, this was Brittany's first time (I think) serving at our venue, which had a small kitchen--certainly not chef-level.
