The best place to get coffee in Lagrange. Friendly environment and fast service. On Monday's they have music in the evening. Get there early if you want a good parking spot or park a little further down Main Street and hoof it. I recommend trying the iced mochas. read more

This is a great little local coffee shop. It's so nice to have local shops like this amidst all the chains (not to say those aren't delicious too, local shops are just so personalized and homey). This is a great place to come sit for an afternoon with a friend, or go to get some work done. This is a nice space with a good number of tables. They have great iced coffee and unsweetened tea, and they sell their own roasted beans! If you have your own coffee grinder, I definitely recommend picking up a bag of whole beans here- you can taste such a difference. Don't miss this place if you're in LaGrange! read more

Everything is great except the coffee. Tastes like Kroger brand coffee. As an example try Sunergos in Louisville.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the coffee was delicious! The people behind the counter were very friendly. I'll definitely be back. My only critique would be the quality and selection of the snack foods they offer to accompany your drink. I'd love to see some fresh baked goods. Otherwise no complaints! read more

Very cool coffee house in downtown La Grange. The coffee is delicious and free wifi is great! The only suggestion I would give is to expend the pastry menu to have other baked goods other than chocolate cookies or scones, and maybe add some light savory items like soup & salad and simple ham & egg sandwich. read more

Probably the best coffee period. The scones are amazing. My wife dragged me there at the old location and I thought what does LaGrange know about coffee? Better than Starbucks. They moved to Main Street where the location is really cool. Watch the train go by while you have some really well prepared joe. Monday nights at 6:30 is Bluegrass jam night with some great musicians doing pick up songs. Just a unique place with great coffee and atmosphere. Ps. My wife gets a scoop of ice cream down the street and has Coffee Roasters put a double shot in. Friggin awesome. read more

So, so glad to have a primo coffee house in LaGrange! I live in Smithfield, 7 miles from LaGrange, but I do business in town several times a week. When I want a great cup of coffee, or one of Leah's homemade pastries, LCR is my favorite café for enjoying not only a great cup of coffee, but also the great music (both live & pre-recorded), great management, and great people. I'm talking about those who not only work there, but who also frequently stop in! The owner, Leah (I've not met her husband) is also an accomplished songstress! Every Monday night from 6:30 to 9:30 she hosts a musical sit-in. If you have an instrument, bring it and play along. No player there will judge even a beginner on how s/he plays or sings. The evening could not be more family oriented. Or fun! They also have great mochas and other specialty café drinks and treats. If there were six stars, I would give it to this coffee shop. The best coffee and the best pastries, scones, etc. within this state, I'm quite certain. They roast their own beans, and they start with high-quality beans. The taste is impeccable. The service is top notch, with friendly baristas who are eager to please and deliver your order exactly the way you want it. Atmosphere is also wonderful with an open old time general store feel, in the heart of downtown Lagrange shopping, with large picture windows to watch the trains go by just feet away from the front door. read more

For a coffee shop, this place is a 3. For a LaGrange coffee shop this place is a 5. So I gave it a 4. LaGrange really needed something like this. It was quite a smart move when they relocated to main street. I wish the hours were longer, meaning open earlier and later. Everything on this street has the oddest hours. Suggestion: bring in open mic night, bands, etc for the younger crowd in the evening hours. read more

Not only is this the BEST coffee I have ever had but the people who run it are amazing. I can't imagine getting coffee anywhere else now. Best coffee house I have ever had the honor to visit. Atmosphere is so relaxed that my daughter likes to come here to do her homework. Sip on a hot cup of java. Although the young high school guy who typically makes our drinks is super friendly & the coffee is pretty good, the hours of operation aren't the most convenient. However, most of Main Street seems to have odd hours which is very disappointing and keeps us from shopping local. The atmosphere isn't very inviting or friendly, the owners seem detached, stand offish which is another disappointment. I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be with this place.
