There is a picnic area and some bathrooms but the bathrooms are very old. I remember coming to this park as a kid and being my kids as well.

The bridge has the best view. Best part is just walking around. It has over a mile of paved trails. This means you won't get muddy even walking in the woods. Family friendly and many opportunities for education and entertainment. They have a safety town. It's along the bike path near the entrance. This features pretend buildings like the fire station and the police station. It seems good for the whole family. Kids can learn about safety. The rest of the park has great views of the creek and the woods.

There were lightning bugs all around us, almost like little fairies, and the whole setting felt peaceful and secluded. The group was small, which made it even nicer, and the park ranger leading the hike was so sweet and did a wonderful job. I wish I had gotten her name because she really made the experience feel welcoming and special. I loved the property, and we will definitely be back to hike there again. Such a beautiful park and such a memorable night.

They helped us get fitted with jackets and kayas. Offering singles and doubles. The lake was great to paddle on and much larger than it looks. We were able to see so many animals - bald eagle, heron, fish, bats, etc. Plus Lexie was a great guide!

They have bathrooms attached to one end and a put putt course behind. The parking lot goes back a little further by some of the trail entrances and there is a playground. Paths are mostly paved or covered in stone. The path branches off to the high school and back to a event building. If it's your first time there I suggest taking a picture of the map so you can stay on course. If you choose the path that goes under the road it loops around a pond. The pond has a small floating dock. Great park if you have a little time to explore.
