When many of the other installers were focused on making a steal, Dejan was focused on closing the deal. And that, he did. I'm very happy with the PTC production numbers (PTC = actual real-world output, as opposed to "lab environment best case scenario"). The panels that Dejan recommended maximized usage of the limited roof space while minimizing dollar-per-watt costs. The results were comparable to SunPower output for significantly less cost, while still maintaining a 25 year warranty. From the day I submitted the signed contract back to Laibach Solar, my system was installed, city-inspected, and PGE-authorized in 14 days. (It was actually installed and done within 1 week, but we had to wait for city inspectors) My new 7kw system has been pumping out 40kwh/day. Did the company give you an estimate without evening seeing your roof, trees, location and panel installation and many other vital considerations? If yes, walk, run away. You want people that know how to install the pv panels, optimizers, inverters, wirings and get through the permit process with the county and PG&E. Dejan told me right off, my house has a tree shade issue. He set expectation that the large oak tress on the west side will hinder solar production. And he was right. Luckily for me, the summer months are much better due to southern inclination angle of the sun's path. Dejan put the panels as high as possible on the roof, to counter the tree shade effect. Their workmanship is top notch, passed county inspection without issues. I was up and running on the second week. These guys know solar. When I first contacted Laibach, I had a lot of questions. They gave me very straightforward answers, without any sales pressure whatsoever. The quote they gave us for our system, was so much lower than the quotes I received from the national installers, I was amazed. Dejan (pronounced similar to "Dan"), helped with the paperwork throughout the process, including getting HOA approval. They also did a top notch job with the installation. The panels themselves are black hardware matched with black panels that were manufactured in Canada, and really look nice. The installers arrived on time, were friendly and polite, and, most importantly, did outstanding work. When they were finished (job only took 2 1/2 days), they cleaned up the work site and hauled away all of the construction debris. I built my home and am always concerned with aesthetics. Laibach Solar perfectly centered my solar array on both sides of my roof. Most people don't even realize we have solar panels. We went with black panels (Canadian Solar) with black trim. Our system is super clean. All of the systems conduit is hidden--no grey runs of conduit along my roof. They ran the conduit in my attic and in my crawlspace all the way to our power panel. They even painted the ends of the mounts black to match the entire array. This took extra time that most contractors would not have given their workers. Most solar companies are blow and go. I shake my head when I drive through neighborhoods and see the ugly arrays others have to live with. Price? Our price was more than $1 a watt cheaper than two local competitors. We saved about $10,000 by using Laibach. The owner, Dan, has a huge advantage over his competitors. He always answers his phone or will reply to text messages. What impressed us about Laibach Solar's owner, Dejan, is that he is a part of the installation team, with Brady and Zack, and not just a salesman? As a result, he took full ownership of the job and offered us a system to our liking and budget, while also educating us about solar technology.
