I can not express how awesome Liabach solar is. From first console with Dan (Dejan) to final install with Zach and Mike, great communication, amazing service, quality installation, and they all took time to help educate me on the products offered, how they function, and the benefits offered. Dan and his team are professional, friendly, and they really care about their craft. It speaks volumes about a company when they find solutions to save you money opposed to trying to up sell you. Most companies tried to with me, including sun run that was almost twice the cost! If you are in the market for solar you would be a fool to not to give Liabach an opportunity to assist you. I promise you, you will not be disappointed with any aspect of this company. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone I know looking to go solar! Thanks Dan, Zach, and Mike, you guys are amazing!

Great experience working with Laibach for our residential solar needs. We talked to a few different contractors but ultimately ended up going with Laibach due to their reputation, competitive pricing and great customer service from the start. Highly recommend them for your solar needs!

Beware of big name solar companies! My solar journey (with little knowledge of the ins and outs) started with a friend that worked for a big name competitor in this area. The final price tag was $80k after a 20 year scam loan with a hidden "dealer fee" and HUGE commission for my "buddy." I got multiple quotes but Josh from Laibach asked me for a min of my time and after talking with him I was sold! I payed 1/3 of the price going with them! They go thru a credit union to finance their solar with very low rates.. from the start to the finish this company had A+ customer service. The office was very responsive and their field guys led by Zach was very informative and friendly throughout the whole process. They use the best equipment in solar and their panels are very sleek. Don't look any further for your solar needs, these guys are the real deal.

I interviewed 3 solar installers before selecting Laibach Solar. Theirs was the most competent, timely, intelligent, and cost-effective installation proposal by far. The entire experience with Laibach Solar was fantastic! Everyone was very professional and everything was delivered as promised. I would especially like to thank Casey (sales), Dejan, Mike & Zach (the installation crew) for the seamless transition to solar. They were very honest, friendly, and fast to respond! Highly recommend!

Have to say, one of the best experiences I've had with any contractor EVER. Dejan and the entire team is amazing. Courteous, professional, clean, extremely knowledgeable, efficient, timely and just a first class company. Wish they did more than solar as I would keep them busy. Thanks guys, really appreciate the great work product and designing the right system for our home!

Dejan(the owner) was extremely knowledgeable, mindful of my time, and provided the agility needed to handle everything in under 2 weeks. When many of the other installers were focused on making a steal, Dejan was focused on closing the deal. And that, he did. I'm very happy with the PTC production numbers (PTC = actual real-world output, as opposed to "lab environment best case scenario"). The panels that Dejan recommended maximized usage of the limited roof space while minimizing dollar-per-watt costs. The results were comparable to SunPower output for significantly less cost, while still maintaining a 25 year warranty. From the day I submitted the signed contract back to Laibach Solar, my system was installed, city-inspected, and PGE-authorized in 14 days. (It was actually installed and done within 1 week, but we had to wait for city inspectors) My new 7kw system has been pumping out 40kwh/day. I also didn't need to take out a giant loan for such an efficient system because it didn't break the bank, like big-name installers/panels would have. Thank you again Dejan and team.

Just had Dan install a system at our house. I had a bunch of quotes from local to nation wide companies. Aside from the best price per watt what I really liked was dealing directly with the owner of a local business. They came on the day and time they said they would. Completed the project on time and cleaned up as they went along. They did a very neat and clean job. Our PG&E meter has run backwards from day one! I would highly recommend Laibach Solar!

It's now been over two years since our solar system was installed in Sept 2023. The installation itself went smoothly and the team worked hard to make sure everything was completed in time to meet the PG&E application deadline. Everyone I worked with was professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. After the installation, I had a few questions and the team was quick to respond and genuinely helpful. I really appreciate knowing that their support didn't end once the system was paid for and that help is always there if needed. Since the installation, our electric bills have dropped significantly, and we haven't experienced a single issue. The system has been running efficiently and doing exactly as proposed. One of my biggest concerns at the beginning was having work done on our roof, but after two years and plenty of rainy days, I'm happy to say we've had zero problems. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I've already recommended Excite Energy to several friends.

I am hoping their workmanship and post-installation support is not commensurate with the customer service I've experienced to date. - My project was scheduled for installation on December 8. I was told installation would take 2 to 3 days. - Leading up to December 8, I was told installation would instead start on December 11. No explanation or apology was provided. I was at least reassured it would still be a 2-3 day process. - On December 17, installation remained incomplete. I was told installation would be completed on December 22 and that an inspection would be completed on December 23. - On December 22, I had not heard from Excite all day. It did not look like work had been done on my project. I called and asked if work had been done on my project. I was told that installation had been completed earlier in the day and that the inspection would proceed as planned. - On December 23, the inspector showed up. Excite did not. I called Excite multiple times and couldn't get anyone on the phone. I emailed and could not get an immediate response. The inspector left. Heath eventually called me and I learned for the first time that: (1) installation had not actually been completed, even though I had been told otherwise; and (2) the inspection should have been postponed, but wasn't. Heath took no ownership for the miscommunication about my project completion, the fumbled inspection, or my project generally. He would not commit to a firm plan or timeline for completing my installation or having the inspection done. - So 2+ weeks into a 2 to 3 day installation, my project remains incomplete. Other than my brief call with Heath, throughout the process I haven't been provided proactive updates about the prolonged installation time, updated timelines to completion, or really any pertinent information. The job site was also left unkempt on a day to day basis. A waste basket's worth of debris was left around my property and the interior of my home was left incredibly dirty. - As it stands would not recommend Excite to friends or family.

On top of that, they're just good down-to-earth people. We hired them last spring to re-roof our home, replace some rotted eaves and fascia and replace our old solar system (it was inefficient and malfunctioned quite a bit). We are very happy with what we got for the price we paid, it was a good value. It looks so much better than it did before and is consistently producing more energy. I feel like they helped us make the right decisions through the whole process, especially for system size to be able to keep our NEM1 status. The new roof looks great and works really well. I waited almost a year to write this review to make sure there wasn't any water intrusion during the winter storms - not a drop anywhere. They were in the mid-high range in pricing on the bids we got, but I'm happy we spent a little more went with them. Can a roof be sexy? Ours sure is. All in all, if you need a new roof or solar system or home battery, or all of the above, call Volt. When Buck arrived, he stayed until we were satisfied with our understanding, and I learned so much more from his explanations than from all other companies. Considering they were also roofers and understood the difficulty with our high-pitched roof, we placed more confidence in them than the others. Hence, we chose them after a month of research and estimates. Kristen, their assistant manager, was very communicative throughout the entire project, keeping us informed about what was happening behind the scenes with permits, PG&E approvals, and the team's schedule. That helped us understand the project's time frames. Bucks crew -- Jared, Sean, and the others -- were friendly and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently to finish the job, paying close attention to detail. They went above and beyond, including sharing additional insights about our gutters and attic. I could tell they understood the bigger picture, and I am grateful for their effort. After researching many companies, we are happy we chose Volt Modern and will definitely recommend them to others looking for solar installation and roofing services.

We have moved to a new house in El Dorado county in 2016, and a month later realized that our…read moreelectric bill have tripled! We expected it to be higher, since we moved to a much larger house, but triple?? And that is with us being extremely conscientious about our electrical usage - all LED bulbs, timers etc. Nevertheless, after spending on average $600/mo in the summer months mainly due to AC/Pool/hot tub pump usage, we had to look for another alternative. And so our solar mission had began. For the next 6 months we had spoken to several solar companies and looked at every possible solar scenario. At one time, we had even put a deposit for the installation, but at the last minute, the company had informed us that they would not be able to put as many solar panels as we had agreed, resulting in us withdrawing from the solar contract. But as we know, whatever happens is happens to our best, so eventually, after an exhausting search for various options, we were presented by a proposal that we found to be particularly good. Now before I get to it, I have to say that each family may have a different situation which may justify different solar solution if at all. In our case, we were not able to benefit from the tax credit, so purchasing solar panels would not make much sense. At the same time purchasing solar panels would still be a more preferable option than leasing the same panels. We definitely did not want to get in any kind of equipment lease. That's when we met with Mike Zsoka (mzsoka@v3electric.com) and Jake MacNeil from V3 Electric, who proposed to us a hard to refuse option of buying power not from PG&E, but from V3 Electric solar company they worked at. In exchange for our long term commitment to purchase electricity from them, they would install the top of the line solar panels and equipment, and maintain it for the duration of the contract. Why we found it hard to refuse? Simple - our 20-year commitment to buy power was at considerably lower price per Kw than buying the same power from the PG&E. In fact about 50% less with no tiered pricing, no penalties for high usage, and a modest 2.99% yearly increases to keep up with inflation (the average PG&E price increase per Kw/h in 1986-2016 was 7%). So even 20 years from now, our electricity bill will be less than what we were paying last summer. On top of it, our ability to use power greatly expanded since the new solar panels are generating more power (~19-21K KW/h per year) than what we used last year (~16K-18K Kw/h). This will help us with the accommodation of an additional family members that are now living with us, and allow us to add more power using amenities in the near future. If we decide to sell the house and move, then the new owners can take over the plan if they are inclined to do so (and why would they not?), or we can buyout the panels at whatever the depreciated price would be at that particular time, and include it in the sale price. In either case, we felt the presented offer was an excellent deal and agreed to sign it, with no upfront cost of any kind. The installation process was fast and straight forward, and we got the latest 375W GE solar panels, with top of the line equipment. Now, almost a month later, we are very happy not to deal with the ridiculous PG&E tiered pricing system and start saving money. With that said, we can definitely recommend V3 Electric solar company, and specifically Jake MacNeil and Mike Zsoka (mzsoka@v3electric.com), who we found to be honest, punctual, knowledgeable, and very customer service oriented.

That SunFun organization REFUSED to transfer the solar to the new homeowner, and eventually stopped taking or acknowledging our calls. It wasn't until we had to threaten the new homeowner with a lawsuit that SunFun finally transferred ownership. Due to this, we could not trust any of these solar companies...that is, until Kevin Bedard came to our home, and explained everything in great detail to my husband and I. He took the time to hear about our concerns, and he showed us how he truly cared. Any home renovation project has bumps, and this one had its fair share: after initial install they monitor the systems production remotely to see if it's doing what it's supposed to/expected to, and my system was initially under-performing. They caught it and sent out a team to problem solve it, which took a couple tries, but they didn't drag their feet, they kept on it and kept at it and got it resolved. It was no fault of theirs, just a technology glitch. Core fear was that they would give up after a couple failures and leave me following up with them to get it done, but I never had to worry about that. I also did not end up liking where they placed the control box- it was something that was going to make future maintenance of my house trim problematic down the line. They willingly moved it up a few inches for me (and my only complaint was the team that did that didn't patch the original hole as efficiently as they should have. If I had understood the box placement better on the first pass that would never have happened, so this is a bit of a complaint of my own making.) Jon Landsman, who sold me the system, stayed with us the whole time tracking the project, checking in, and following through on every detail, every question, every concern. He never made me feel like the demanding diva that I am, was always prompt and gracious! The bottom line is that start to finish, even with a few bumps in the road, I have zero question that this is a company that legitimately cares about doing what is right. The culture of deeply valuing customer service that they have built is unmatched by many businesses these days. I am SO pleased, and SO impressed, and I can promise that you will be too!
