If i could give this restaurant more than 5 starts I absolutely would. Aside from the beautiful atmosphere- the owner is an absolute sweetheart who always makes sure your dining experience is perfect from start to finish. All the servers are nice and knowledge of the cuisine. Now, I obviously saved the best for last- THE FOOD. Absolutely delicious. Authentic middle eastern dishes , fresh ingredients... amazing. Came here last night for our anniversary dinner. From the beginning we felt very welcomed, our waitress, Mariam, was not only extremely friendly but warm and helpful. She was accommodating and we learned we have a lot in common. We told her it was our 4 year wedding anniversary and 14 years together...I'll get to that later. Let's talk about the food! Everything from the complimentary olives to the appetizers were fresh and authentic. The food is made with love. The chef takes pride in the meals he creates. They keep the bread coming which is important, most establishments only give you one serving of bread. Let me tell you, the kibbeh is out of this world. Tastes like the one we eat at home, absolutely delicious. When it came time for dessert they brought us out the most yummy kanafeh with candles and played our song for us. The food is absolutely phenomenal. I've been looking forward to coming back here. The service is attentive and friendly. My only complaint this one time was the DJ. There wasn't one the last time. The music is all over the place with no rhyme or reason. He never let any one song play for more then a few seconds and the songs did not blend well. It was so loud it was hard to ignore. Came here with my mom for lunch, and the food was excellent. By far one of the best meats around. Granted, we were annoying by picking a different seat as soon as we were told to pick a table and given menus (seating by the window was just too cold), but we moved with our menus to a table closer to the middle. We ordered hummus to start, which was phenomenal, along with the assorted pies, also incredibly yummy. But we asked for the pita to be warmed up, and it came back the same. So we asked that the pita be warmed up a bit more, and it came out fine. Our order of Fattet Makdous (we were told there was no rice), came out delicious as well, but about two spoonfuls in, we decided we needed some tabouleh to balance. But as the place had more people walking in (a table of 7, and we saw there was a party getting ready taking up half the establishment), and another table of 2, the server went two rounds filling up other table's water, and ignored us both times. By the time I asked for the check, it still hadn't come out. We just took it to go. Such a shame that such great food was accompanied by subpar service. I'd rather take my food to go than pay 18% tip. read more

So happy I stumbled upon this gem. My family and I had lunch here, and it was a lovely experience. Beautiful, spacious, and CLEAN interior; attentive, friendly staff; tasty food prepared and served beautifully. The owner came over personally to welcome us, and the whole staff was so helpful and friendly with our multitude of questions. Delicious apps (Laila salad and Laila combo), and then the wait for our entrees was worth it. Don't miss the items listed under "Grandma's Kitchen." The fattet makdous was divine.
