They might take your medical, but if you care about your health, avoid this place. They put a new crown on one of my teeth and I have been having severe pain. The Dr blamed me for not flossing my teeth, while I do it religiously every day. Did not ask how often and when the pain appeared, and ignored the fact that it was bleeding every time I was flossing. Yelled at me, instead of listening and considering different options, refused to even have an idea that they might have infected my tooth. Had no respect for me in conversation. And didn't even give a pain relief. I came here a few years ago to fix my broken front tooth. Unfortunately, I was never fully happy with the result. The bonding didn't match my real tooth -- the shape looked off, the color didn't blend well, and there was a visible line or crack that made it look unnatural. I trusted that the work would look clean, but it honestly felt like they rushed it or didn't pay attention to the details. Your front teeth should look like your real smile, and mine didn't. I didn't realize how bad it looked until later, but by then it had already been a while. I expected more care and better results, especially for something so noticeable. As i walked in, the supposed supervisor told me that she was going to take me xray. I was so confused since i trusted her. But then, the doctor came in and started the exam. I payed for the xray for no reason. I asked about why the xrays weren't taken. Looks like the supervisor needs to improve more common sense and more communication. Honestly was a good dentist until The main dentist passed away a year or 2 back . He was very good his replacement honestly very disappointed first of all I came in for pain on my upper molar but they remove my bottom which wasn't an hair cuz medical approved it . It's fine but than they give me pencil in which I'm allergic and is on my chart and I told them at least 4 times I was allergic to peniciln!! I had came in late so I think he was upset but 10 min into the anesthesia kick in he starts pulling tooth before I'm even numb ! Than after all that had go hospital allergic reaction to medication and the " dissolvable" stitches never dissolved . And now I have pain in my Top tooth again look for other better dentist if you can new dentist had me have a horrible experience in trust and professionalism ‍ read more

I think they are a little too focused on lining their pockets with cash by convincing you there is something wrong with your teeth. My friend went here and showed me a video of the dentist yelling at her that was very shocking where they also admit to using improper equipment on her. I couldn't believe it. I would never, ever risk going here especially not after what happened to her. She had to get a root canal after what the dentist did but even without that I would never go here after I saw how unprofessional the dentist (Baradaran) was. Good luck getting a call or email response back from this dental office. Some of the staff are really sweet and friendly but some are really rude and tend to gossip amongst themselves. Back in 2019 I went to get X-rays and full service done.. after they determined what was needed and reviewed the overall cost.. I decided to move forward and pay out of pocket due to not having insurance. The dentist who did my procedures was very welcoming and did an okay job. They do have three dentist who work there and unfortunately not all work the same and sadly when I recommended my sister and her husband they weren't able to get the same dentist I did. They're job was not well at all.. and trying to get an appointment was so difficult. After the pandemic I tried to book an appointment.. by then I had insurance!! :D I called twice made them aware of the insurance provider I had (PPO) and name.. they never returned my call to let me know they approve of it. Called for the third time that week and the dentistry answered I made him aware of my last calls and asked to email my insurance card.. do so that day and still never got a reply back by phone or email. Finally.. I decided to do my research and go elsewhere.. I've found a dentistry with such great work. Unbelievable staff that make you feel so comfortable and at home! He goes over with you everything and will ask what your budget is to get to know what work he has to do and what your goal is. I'm so sad I didn't find them sooner and will definitely recommend everyone to this new place. Specially my family who have been having trouble with this place. If you really want the help and honesty I do not recommend this place. I feel like they do not value their customers and trying to get them to release my X-rays is a headache. "We will call you back when we are not busy" is all I keep getting from them. I don't know how the front desk women have this job.. people want to get great service and feel comfortable going to the dentist. Im reviewing because im in REAL PAIN NOW. I went in for very mild discomfort from gum itritation on the right side of my mouth. I suspected i might need attdntion to the molar or wisdom tooth... But i allowed them to take full mouth of x-rays because the said Medi-cal requires it if any care would take place. It took the staff AN HOUR to get the "appropriate angles" that medi-cal would approve. And i only gagged twice while they stuck an outdated large tool covered in sharp crickly plastic in the back of my mouth. My gag reflex is usually non reactive. The female dentist must have been newly graduated... She was very aggressive & heavy handed during exam. She suggested we do several other fillings in tedth i did not even have any pain around. I told them i only had time for 1. She drilled the crap out of that tooth. Before leaving i asked if i could have the typical "Welcome to our dental practice" Toothbrush but the receptionist informed me they only give out toothbrushes to patients with more expensive procedures... Wtf? Anyways... NOW IVE BEEN IN MODERATE PAIN EVERY SINGLE SECOND FOR THE LAST WEEK. I MEAN MY ENTIRE MOUTH HURTS NOW. I was never in my life sensitive to cool water. Now everything hurts to drink or eat. Im pissed. They just wanted every dollar from the insurance but it cost me distress. Im not exaggerating... IM IN PAIN ALL DAY LONG NOW. Im never going back. PS. I forgot to mention that nust a few days later i got a sinus infection probably due to several factors but the crap stuff and drilled near my throat def did contribute. read more

I am not sure why this business has many high rated reviews. In my case, I extracted a tooth, This dentist either taking Opioids or something. He did not tell me to mix antibiotics, Amoxicillin and stronger antibiotics, then revisited for check up, he told me then. He said he instructed that on the day of extraction, he did not. while he extracted a tooth, somehow the right next tooth either been lifted, causing an infection, he said he did not touch the tooth, BS. read more

I had to have surgery yesterday to shave down painful bone spurs so I could get dentures in the near future. I was scared since removing my teeth from another dentist was a HORRIBLE experience. I already knew how caring and understanding they were, but yesterday was exceptional. I was panicky and sick to my stomach b4 the surgery but the techs calmed me down and Joel and Jose were both there for me. The gave me a barf bag just in case and told me I could squeeze there hands as hard as I needed if I was in pain. They looked me straight in my eyes with theirs and let me know I was doing great and almost done. The shots hurt a lot but I felt almost nothing after. Unfortunately I felt the last stitch in the bottom but they believed me. When I said I felt the cut on the upper gum they believed me and gave me another shot and I felt nothing after that. They kept telling me the whole time I was their best patient - even tho I did not feel like it while crying or screaming while in pain or panicking - they totally understood! My neck and jaw r still hurting but that is to be expected for a few days. I will have stitches for a week and then hopefully be able to get new impressions for my dentures. There r a few challenges but I know I will get thru this and feel better soon. Also bc of some disabilities I was unable to walk down the hall to the bathroom right after but they held on to me and made sure I was safe getting in the bathroom and they waited for me outside in case I needed help. The caring and gentleness of the staff is amazing! I recommend them to ANYONE 100%! read more

Well that was an interesting experience. I just moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a dentist for a cleaning and this pace seemed to have pretty good reviews. I called the office and they were very nice and I explained that I am 7 months pregnant and I would only need a teeth cleaning. She said, perfect - no problem! The appointment was scheduled and my insurance was verified and we were all set. I arrive at the office and thought what a ghetto, run down shopping complex with awful parking! I thought to myself - it's just a cleaning. I walk in the office and there is no receptionist but I was 10 minutes early so thought I would just wait a bit. I ended up ringing the bell and a woman came out to greet me and gave me paperwork to fill out. She asked for my insurance info and I explained to her this was verified and even confirmed yesterday when they called to remind me of the appointment. She asked me how far along I was and I told her 7 months and would just need a cleaning. She asked if I had a Dr authorization note and I told her no, and repeated that I was just getting a cleaning. She said no problem, we will of course see you. She takes me in the back and puts on a dental bib and said the dentist will be right in. She asked me once again for my insurance, and I gave her the same answer. Weird. In walks a shady looking, slicked back hair, creepy looking dude. He makes awkward conversation asking about my pregnancy and then asked if I had a Dr authorization note. I repeated what I told the other woman. He said he wanted to do XRAYs and I said absolutely not, that I don't believe I have any cavities and if I do, I can deal with that after I deliver. He said, "how do you know? I can't see you without a DRs authorization note". I asked him why nobody mentioned this to me when I made the apt for the cleaning and was very clear that I was pregnant. He blankly looked at me. I then took off my bib and walked straight out the door without saying a word. Truth is, I was sooooo relieved as this place was a total dump and I got the shadiest vibe from this sleazy dentist! Called and advised front desk that I was in horrible pain. They scheduled me immediately and I was in a dentist's chair within an hour! Dr. Milikyan was kind and straight up with me. He showed me all the things that needed to be done and advised me what the immediate issue was and we handled it. I have to tell you that I'm extremely scared of dentists and when I knew he was going to have to numb me, I started trippin'! I hate when I need to get a shot in my mouth due to past experiences with my old family dentist. And although I could've of ripped the arms off of the chair I was in waiting in, anticipating the worst, Dr. Milikyan did an amazing job numbing me! I hardly felt a thing. I don't have insurance either and the cost was very fair.
