Dr Kagan and her staff are amazing. Received a mailing for a cleaning special, as a first timer customer. I got lucky and was able to be seen same day on a Saturday due to a cancellation. The process was easy, they have parking in back - but also plenty of street spots in front. The reception area was clean and social distancing maintained. The best part was the cleaning. I have super sensitive teeth and gums and Dr. Kagan's hands were the gentlest I've ever experienced. Since I just moved to the valley, it looks like I've found my new dentist. read more

Avoid at all costs. This dentist made me cry. I have extremely sensitive teeth and gums. She injected me twice but didnt even wait long enough for it to settle and started drilling my teeth. I was in extreme pain. She yelled at me when i was showing her and her nurse that im in pain. I started crying. When she stopped because she couldnt work on my teeth anymore, she told me i have to take "calming pills". That is a violation of HIPAA rules to tell someone in a open clinic area with others around to take specific medications. Especially medications that "calm you down " since i was crying from the pain. Her nurse and front desk lady are not friendly either. First time i called to set up a appointment the front lady receptionist asked me to say my social, i told her im in a public place, then she told me to go "somewhere else". When i did, and gave her my info, she repeated my social security number out loud on the phone. Who knows who was there in the office at the moment. Everything has been reported to the California Board of Dentistry. I have never had a issue in all my life with a dentist before. My previous dentist knew how sensitive i was and would take good care of me when working on my teeth. Unfortunately due to insurance changes i had to change my dentist. I wish i found someone else. I broke a tooth, she accompanied me all the way. Thanks to Dr. Kagan, I received a crown, she installed it the first time, and for more than 7 months everything has been fine and pretty comfortable with me and now too. The doctor is good, she will explain everything patiently and with care. I see many people complain about the rude administrator, but she is no longer there and the last time I spoke with the administrator Alexandra, she is very friendly. read more

RUN DON'T WALK AWAY from here. Avoid! I don't normally write reviews but I have to have to about this place. First off rude Staff. They try to bully you, be prepared. They blatantly lie to you. I went in for an exam and cleaning. They took a number of x-rays, I couldn't even keep count. I asked for copies and they said they never took them. Uh hello, what I just imagined all those x-rays taken? Also Dr. Inna Kagan, DDS never cleaned my teeth that day, she said she didn't have the right tools, and she would have to order them? What dentist doesn't have the right tools? Say what? She said SHE would call me to reschedule. I never heard from her. Oh, and she also told me that I had to get my doctors to sign off that I could have her clean my teeth, even though my doctors already knew I was getting my teeth cleaned and I was premedicated when I got there. I took the paper to get signed but still hadn't heard from her to reschedule. Of course, the rude receptionist blamed it on me. That's when I asked for my x-rays which are legally mine. I am telling you I should have known from the moment I walked in there that the whole thing was fishy. SO after going around in circles with the receptionist who kept saying that they never took x-rays, I am being told I can have a doctor call to request or bring the signed paper in. So wait are you admitting then my X-rays are there. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! I don't know if I will ever get my x-rays back but I do know I am never stepping in there for dental work and thank goodness Dr. Inna Kagan didn't touch my teeth. read more

Unfortunately I am unable to review the quality of dentistry because I couldn't get past reception. I couldn't book an appointment without providing insurance information. Received a call back and was notified that she couldn't track my policy with my SSN for my secondary insurance. When asked if she checked with my primary provider, she told me that she hadn't heard of it so didn't check it out. Guess Been to other dentist with no issue and my kids have never had an issue with the same policies. Dr. Kagan, you may look at your customer service, I bet I'm not the only one that can't book an appointment due to incompetence. read more

I just moved to the area and was looking for a dentist. I was referred to Dr Kagan. She is excellent and her staff is helpful and efficient. I have problem teeth so she took her time to make sure everything was ok. It was a very informative visit and I received a great cleaning. Please do not use Inna Kegan. Dr. Inna performed very poor job for all dental works. I have two crowns and both got broke within 3 months. She would not replace those crowns instead she will try to fix broken crowns. She use very inferior material and charge very high. The filling and clweaning services are terrible. Filling willl come in abour a month guaranteed. read more

She is not a bad dentist. The office is nice and clean, and she never lets you wait for an appointment more than 5 minutes over your scheduled time. But be really careful if you have insurance. She will overcharge your insurance and try to get all the money no matter what procedure she provides for you. Even if the procedure worth $400, she will charge your insurance for $1,000. So if you need some additional work later, you will end up paying cash. She says that she has some discount for cash customers that is why she charges insured customers three to four times more over cash customers. read more

I came to Dr. Kagan to get a new mouth guard to replace one that had seen better days. Dr. Kagan is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different types of mouth guards available and which one would be best suited for my needs. The mouthguard was made in a timely manner; it arrived in less than a week. Dr. Kagan made sure it fit properly after and took the time to explain proper care for my mouthguard. I will definitely be using Dr. Kagan's services in the future. She is a caring and compassionate dentist. read more

In sum - came in with no pain and no issues for a simple dental exam and cleaning and ended up leaving in 30 minutes with severe pain and problems. This has never happened before.... I was absolutely stunned. I do not recommend this dentist and suggest using at your own risk. Inna Kagan put some machine in my mouth to do a cleaning which had me cringing in pain and bouncing from the chair in pain. My mouth hurt for weeks afterwards. I came back to her after my appointment to find out how this could have happened and she just shrugged her shoulders. She also took xrays of my teeth and suggested work that needs to be done which I found to be mind boggling as I had no issues with my teeth prior to my appointment. read more

Just realized that I've been going to this place longer than can remember (been driving here from Hollywood, Sherman oaks, and now taking my daughter here from Glendale). Have 2 crowns done by Inna. One fell off a couple years back. She replaced it back on emergency appointment - no prob. If had to pick just one thing to say about her - most painless treatments I've ever had (had a few dentists down in Hollywood 20 years ago). I honestly hate needles (more so when they go into you gums). Inna's got the best hands when it comes to be gentle and careful. read more

I have never had a worse dentist in all my 47 years! She is a nice lady, but geeez! I had a broken crown, so she gave me waaaay too little novacane and I wasn't really numb. When I almost jumped out of the chair moaning in pain, she said that I was probably just feeling vibration. So she gave me another tiny shot and it still hurt sooooo bad. She told me not to worry, it's almost done (like Kathy Bates in Misery). Plus she kept sticking my gums with the dental pick, the rinse water was red. The only way I would go back to her is if I were kidnapped at gunpoint, chloroformed, and duct taped to the chair. Do yourself a big favor and FIND ANOTHER DENTIST!!! read more
