It was such a joy to work with a smaller company that has exceptional quality control and personalized care. First and foremost, the owner, Kimberly, is outstanding. Kimberly is compassionate, highly intelligent, an excellent communicator, organized, professional, and diligent. Moving my mother from her 5,500 square foot home was a completely overwhelming and daunting task. I honestly don't know how we would have made the move without Magnolia Transitions. Kimberly helped manage our time and did everything from measuring furniture and floor planning space in the new home, to packing and organizing belongings, then unpacking and arranging all of the moved items into my mom's new home. Prior to the move, she set up a colored tape system so that we could code items by donation/sell, maybe and keep/move. We also added extra sort days where an employee could help my mother make decisions on what to keep and pack. Everything was simplified and streamlined. I can't believe how beautifully the team unpacked and arranged my mom's new home. On day one it looked settled, decorated, and comfortable. The team even hung hung artwork! Throughout the process my nerves were fried, my mom was overwhelmed, but Kimberly and her team always stayed calm and collected and helped get us back on track and refocused. The team was compassionate and gentle during this overwhelming period of time. Overall, Magnolia Transitions went the extra mile in so many ways, they even providing a resource for a closet installer! Working with Kimberly and Magnolia was such a wonderful experience. This is my local Walmart and so I end up here more often than I probably should. I am a general fan…read moreof Walmart because it is a great place for busy parents to get everything done all in one shot. I really appreciate the flexibility of getting all of my errands done at one store. I have had worse experiences than my most recent trip but we are on the upswing so I am optimistic. Today, the employees were engaged in stock and straightening up the aisles, shelves, and bins. It was almost surreal for a Walmart. I love going clothes shopping here towards the seasons changing because the clearance racks offer deals that you can't beat. I was able to find some cute shirts for my growing preteen to wear to school at less than $8 a piece. One shirt was only a dollar! I also love the baby separates at $3-$4 a piece. I am getting a little less flexible as I get older and a kind employee, who was probably a teenager, was nice enough to help me look for the size I needed on a low rack. I ended up with a few shirts for my older daughter and quite a few outfits for my younger daughter. I headed for the checkout lines and quite a few of the lanes were empty of cashiers while the lines were getting increasingly longer at the open lanes and self-checkout registers. My one criticism is that this situation seems to be the norm instead of a deviance from the norm. More cashiers are needed when you have more customers. I also wanted to mention the employee near the self-checkout when I passed through. While I was checking out, my daughter's diaper decided to give up it's absorbance goals and literally poured baby pee onto the floor. Although I am sure that was the absolute last thing that she wanted to deal with, the employee brought me paper towels and helped me clean up the mess that I unintentionally created. I really appreciate that! Overall not a bad experience.
