I don't leave reviews often, but Kenny's earned every word of this one…read more I brought in my 2005 Dodge Stratus for a major job -- spark plugs, ignition coils, and several other components. We're talking a $3,000 repair. Work was done, car was running, I was satisfied. About a month later, check engine light comes on. Misfire. I brought it back not knowing what to expect -- and this is where Kenny's separated themselves from every other shop I've ever dealt with. They inspected it, found that 3 of the coils had failed, and also discovered the O2 sensor had completely gone out. They replaced all 6 coils and the O2 sensor. Completely free of charge. No debate, no runaround, no "that's not covered." They just made it right. That level of integrity is rare. In a world where most shops would find a way to charge you again, Kenny's stood behind their work without hesitation. That's not just good business -- that's honor. Highly recommended without reservation. This is the only shop I'm trusting with my vehicle going forward.

Let me start off by saying I have never left a review of any business until now. About 3 weeks ago I was calling around various station to find assistance with mounting 4 tires on my truck. When I spoke with Ike the mechanic on duty he had quoted me $45 per axle. I ask, is this for each wheel and he replied not per axle 2 wheels each. so I booked an appointment to drop off my truck the next morning. When I called later that afternoon for an ETA to pick up they said it would be ready by 5. Unfortunately I could not stop by until after 6pm and they told me that it would not be a problem as someone would be there until 9pm. When I eventually made my way to the Shell station the gentleman working let me know that the bill came to $250. I was shocked and asked this is not correct it should be closer to $110 after tax as I was quoted $45 per axle. He let me know that he could not do anything with the bill, and I was not expecting that he could, so I left very frustrated and began wondering about a bait and switch scam. My wife told me to let it go for the night until you could speak with the manager or owner in the morning as they opened up at 7am. When I called the next day at 7am, Ike answered and after I explained my frustration, he said, he was referring to 45 min per axle, not $45 per axle. I let him know that that is not what he quoted as I would have never dropped off my truck, with this outrageous rates to mount tires. He said that he would talk to the manager and call me back after 8am. When he called back I was informed that they would take off the tire disposal fee of $20 but that is all she was willing to do. At this point I was left with no recourse but to pick up my truck and discuss with the manager in person. When I discussed the bait and switch and dishonesty that has happened I was not offered any sympathy or apology but rather, this is all we can do. Lesson learned after stewing over this crap service and dishonesty is buyer beware at this Shell Station. If you are thinking about getting any service done here don't. If you chose to take the risk, make sure you get a written, signed cost before handing them your keys. Ike is a nice guy but I am certain his hands are tied to the poor ownership and the manager who I suspect is the owner. I drove by today and noticed your store front is boarded up. Looks like you are angering more than just myself. If I could rate you a NO STAR I would. Honesty and Integrity go a long way and this Shell ownership has neither. I hope anyone reading this review stays clear of this Shell Station. Happy New Year and thanks for Nothing.

They took the vehicle, hoisted it up and replaced 5 bolts that had sheared off. Bing bang boom the repair was done and they did not charge me anything at all. I told them it may not be the fuse but an integration relay issue which they confirmed upon diagnosis. I also asked for a full inspection of the vehicle and told them do it ONLY if the power door lock and interior light issue is fixed. However, they did not wait and did the full inspection and charged me for it even though the power door lock issue and interior light was not fixed. They refused to give me back the key unless I paid for the full inspection which I unfortunately had to since I had no choice. A very bad experience. I will never trust them with my vehicles again.

They would clean it Friday and see what they could find. (I had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube and they did not put the oil filter back in correctly causing oil to go everywhere) Did not get contacted until Monday afternoon and was told the car was not leaking and was ready to be picked up. Picked up my car, spoke to the guy at the front desk who informed me that I needed to drive it for a week and see if it leaks because they could not find a leak and they tightened everything. Drove home parked my car over a puddle, when I came out your could see some sort of fluid floating in the puddle, opened the hood and my engine was dirty, does not look like it was cleaned at all. Called the office and was told the engine had oil everywhere and they only cleaned that, also he told me to drive it for a week and see what happens and that the leak was probably coming from the oil pan that they cleaned. Then they charged me $212 and tried to tell me my husband had approved that amount of "work" at that cost. Didn't happen, my husband would have never approved that without talking with me first. (Btw, they won't take that charge off the total bill either if they do the car work, it is a flat fee) When taking with the manager Rocky about this, and reminding him I had paid them a year ago $3800 for a new transmission on this car, and that I had been a very regular customer for over 10 years and that I was not happy about that high of a charge, he wouldn't budge repeating that my husband had approved it. I also wasn't happy how they embarrassed me by refusing to let the tow truck take the car off while I discuss the bill with Curt and Rocky the next day. Is this how you treat your 10+ year customers who had recently paid you $3800? Embarrass them and hold their car hostage? It's not like you don't know I live up the road under a mile away, have had my address and credit card info for all those years. It's not like I or my husband don't go into your place almost every single day. Well Rocky, you have lost my business completely. We were daily customers for gas, cigarettes, occasional beverages, etc. Hope that extra $100 you charged me was worth it. My honest opinion is that they nickle and dime you, and are all about the profit and not about the customer service. Adios, taking my business to Shell just a little further away.
