Our first time visiting and we were impressed. Our server/Bartender Andrea was very attentive and polite. We were served a complimentary Beer Cheese and house chips prior to our meal. Food came out in a timely manner and the taste was excellent. I had the Lake & Surf 4 giant shrimp and a Cod Filet. They were breaded just right and fish was nice and fluffy. First visit. LOVED our server (Katy). She was friendly, sweet, and made great suggestions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very modern looking, clean with beautiful floors and lots of natural light. LOVED the decor[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Hubby got the biggest boneless chicken wings I've ever seen (and I'm a bone in kind of gal normally). Hubby also got their bread pudding which is made with the world famous Tom's Donuts "left overs" topped with a bourbon glaze. He had them heat it extra hot (thank you Katy). Would add pecans, raisins and a splash of whipped cream if he had his choice, but overall, he was very happy. Visiting friends and time for supper so time to go to Todd's. Interesting fact is Todd met us at the front door as we went inside.. nice touch.. took a few minutes to be seated ( not busy).. drinks ordered..promptly brought to the table.. we ordered #1 ordered cod dinner, #2 ordered shrimp dinner, # 3 ordered the hamburger with sweet potato fries.. no onions or cheese.. dinners took forever over 30 minutes, but most around us had ordered pizza so probably a logistic problem to do both.. that's ok.. I told the server and she said she could not hear me when I ordered in a very sassy tone plus the fries were not hot and limpy.. I asked her for a bun that was to be brioche, but got a regular one.. ok.. I ate what I had while the other 2 were smacking their lips because it was so good. I was just hungry. Not end to story.. went to pay the $65 bill with a $100 bill told her to keep $15.. and she disappears.. 15 minutes later finally track her down and Ms Sassy coughed up the $20....Guess, she thought she was owed a $35 tip. She definitely was not returning. The fish is delicious! The coleslaw delicious! The homemade chips delicious! Only been open a few weeks.. need to weed out the staff.. We've been twice already. I had a fish sandwich the first time. I wasn't crazy about the bread it was served on but the fish was delicious. The wings were rough and not what I expected. The wings had red dye all over them from the paper they used and we told them and they proceeded to put our to go order with the same red paper. The coleslaw was changed and not good. Only got one refill after the drink sat empty for a good amount of time and servers disappear for long periods of time and it's not busy at all. read more
