    Blue Hawaiian hard seltzer
    Janet L.

I am sad that this place is so far from my house! It would have been a place where I would have picked to gather with friends. There were so many options on the beverage menu, but I went with the special Blue Hawaiian. The bartender was an octopus. He had a full bar and still managed to greet me and had a 2-minute conversation with me. I really appreciate his hospitality and I admire his enthusiasm. He just seems to be very chill and enjoys his job! There was a special event when I went there so everyone was in Hawaiian outfit, myself included. I had a lovely time. Please consider opening a brewery in South Chandler/Ahwatukee, thank you!

Went for craft night. Enjoyed the blonde and a couple of their seltzers. Both were great. It's a big open building with picnic tables. The service was great. We went for craft night so that was fun too. I'll totally go back.

Our favorite PT uses this place to celebrate their anniversary and we're happy to come by! The space is great for gatherings. There is plenty of seating, arcade games, shuffleboard, and cornhole. The vibe is very casual. The staff is always so accommodating and pleasant. They keep a good rotation of offerings too and I noticed since last time we were there, they did start carrying some beer alternatives like cider and seltzers. Depending on the night you come, there are events going on and a food truck parked outside with some delicious tacos!

A pleasantly hazy and the Munich dunkel

I drove up from central Phoenix to meet my friend for a beer. She had the Pleasantly Hazy and I had the Munich Dunkel. They both are solidly good beers. The atmosphere here is great. They have a couple of tv's with sports on and music playing, but not too loud. They also have a food truck outside today. Everyone is super friendly and helpful with selections as well. We had a nice time.

Super Friendly folks! I got to try 5 overall, they were all awesome. The barley wine is definitely my fav, I can't wait to go back for another. The blonde is a perfect summer beer. Clean, crisp and refreshing. This is the beer you want on a hot summer day.

This place has everything you're looking for in a local brewery - a great selection of beers, nice open vibe with plenty of seating, and incredibly helpful and friendly staff. I stopped in when I was in the area and as soon as I mentioned I hadn't been in before the bartender immediately gave me some great recommendations when I asked about IPAs and suggested a flight. I picked three on his advice (Citraville, Diamondback, and Leap of Faith) and added an Oktoberfest for my 4th and all were fantastic. I just wish I had time to stay and try even more. Will definitely be back!

Quite possibly the best kept secret in North Phoenix!! We discovered this place when we were nearby for an appointment and since we enjoy checking out locally owned breweries such as this one we figured it was worth a try. This place does not disappoint. With a large selection of their own drafts to choose from there is something for every beer lover. Also this place is very kid friendly with free arcade games, shuffleboard and bags in the back warehouse area. Mix in a variety of food trucks throughout the week and other events like bingo night makes this place a must visit for the entire family.

Checked this place out yesterday and it didn't disappoint. The Lake Pleasant Hazy IPA was juicy with hints of grapefruit in it. Their porter was impressive and makes you want to have a glass on a cold night. The Blonde was crisp and would be a perfect pool beer. The cucumber sour has a great taste but could be even more sour especially for people who love sours. A lot of new breweries beers lack taste when first opening. Lake Pleasant brewery hit the ground running. The interior is nice with a place to play corn hole or watch the game. There is a fridge where you can pick up canned beer, and I would pick up a 4 pack as soon as you know which beer you like because the cans went fast. It's quite a large space with a lot of seating at the bar or tables. Both owners are super nice and engaging and answered questions that I had. That LP Hazy will have me coming back and right now its the best Hazy on the west side.

Stopped in last Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately I missed any notices that it was their second anniversary. Not ridiculously busy but enough busyness I wasn't able to chat up the staff nor chat about the tap list. By the time I was done w my flight of a Basic Blonde for my mom and for me; the Cucumber Lime Time Sour, Vacation Boss Sour and the Coffee Chocolate Stout the front tap room had thinned out a lot. We sat in the back by the brew house. It was comfortable seating of picnic tables back there. I noticed a small arcade in the corner. I bought some Dunkel and a 57 Heavy to go. Lake Pleasant came highly recommended by two east valley brew pubs. I liked that it was small and that there was also the brew house seating. Parking was easy in a private lot. Great light with a small wall of floor to ceiling windows. Thanks Lake Pleasant for the flight I look forward to a second visit when I can indulge in some beery conversation, cheers!

This place is fantastic! This place is a must-add to anyone's list when brewery hopping in Phoenix. All though it won't be a hop, it will be a stop-and-stay! They have a wide variety of beers on tap, but I went for an IPA flight and didn't regret trying any of them. They had a great west coast style and a phenomenal couple of Hazy IPAs. They were all so good, I had to also try a few others, which then I purchased a 4 pack of the Bavarian Hefe. They don't serve food but had a great food truck outside, and I believe have a regular schedule for them as well. So if you pop in, make sure to check their website for when they will be there. I always love a brewery with a great brand, so I made sure to check out the merch as well. They have a ton of stuff with a lot of shirt and hat options. To finish this great review off, they also cornhole in the back. You will stick around for a while.

Her attention to detail and positive energy made all the difference. Hands down, this place exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend

Long story short, we ordered a to-go burger to take to a family member that was not with us. We ordered the burger, the server asked "kids burger?" , we replied no-just a regular burger. We boxed up our remaining food as well and paid via the handheld POS (with 20% tip) and were asked if we wanted a receipt, we declined and left. We come to find out as we delivered the burger to our family member that what was boxed up for us was just a meat patty. Nothing more, just a patty. I have no idea what we paid for this, as I declined my receipt--but in what world does a customer order a meat patty to go? Can't say I'll be excited to come back to Pedal Haus as there are several different breweries nearby that likely have a good burger that isn't just a meat patty.

We passed AZ Wilderness and saw how busy they were so we stopped at Greenwood as they were less busy and we had never tried their beer before. My parents prefer IPA's and are tough critics, however, they liked the IPA's so much they bought a pack to take home. I'm not a huge beer drinker so I ordered the seltzer on tap and it was good + refreshing. My husband also ordered the Mango Lassi and loved it. We spoke to the staff member on site who I believe said they've been around for 6 years or so. Greenwood definitely deserves more hype as not only were their beers good but they have cute seating arrangements with an open courtyard. Definitely give Greenwood a try if you find yourself going to Downtown Phoenix!

One of the highlights was chatting with Dan, who has been bartending for eight years. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions about the brewing process and the brewery itself. It's clear he enjoys what he does and takes pride in sharing information with customers. I also learned that the brewery was founded by Megan Greenwood, and it's impressive to see how her vision has grown into a well-known local brewery. The brewing operation includes seven tanks, giving visitors a glimpse into the production side of the business. For anyone interested in seeing more behind the scenes, Greenwood Brewing does offer brewery tours. There isn't a set tour schedule, so it's best to ask staff about availability when you visit. One feature I thought was especially cool was the live Instagram follower counter displayed behind the bar. Watching the number update in real time was a fun and unique touch that added to the brewery's modern, community-focused atmosphere. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was engaging, and it was fun getting a closer look at the brewing process while enjoying quality craft beer. A great stop for both locals and visitors looking to support a Phoenix- Women owned brewery. The vibes are chill & semi-loud with music playing in the background. They have seating on both sides of the brewery, outside seating & local restaurants QR codes to order food from. IG: greenwood Brewing

Pretty unique we were at a low bench long table type which was nice for mingling and sharing bites i'm surprised with how much I actually ended up liking the food with breweries. When we were first seated, a server asked about drinks and brought us waters, but after that we waited about 15 minutes before another server came by and asked again if we wanted drinks. At that point I had to tell her we were actually ready to order food. I understand that it's a brewery and many people come for the beer, but it's still a restaurant and we came primarily for the food with our kids. The service throughout the visit felt slow and disorganized. After our food arrived, no one checked back on us at all. We were especially looking forward to trying the brown butter cookie for dessert, but since no one came by, we eventually had to flag down a server just to get the check. By that point we decided not to order dessert and just leave. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the lack of attention and slow service.
