Called at 6pm on a Saturday, and within 30 minutes, Robert was there to help me find my phone. He was so kind and efficient, and I would recommend his services to anyone. I thought my phone was gone for good, but I'm currently writing this review on it (and it's completely fine)!

During a recent trip I had completed my open water diving certification. I had such a good time I was very eager to learn more about some of the different skills. After searching the local area I found Lake Travis Scuba. I contacted Robert and he assured me that they would be able to accommodate me at a beginner's level. The dives are all off of the Giant Stride. It allows for many dive sites options. The boat is able to carry 8 divers at a time along with the captain & 1st mate. Overall I very happy with my experience and hope to get out as much as possible.

Robert saved our trip! My friend and I stayed in Austin for a weekend. Wanting to do all the outdoor activities we rented kayaks. AS SOON AS my friend got in her kayak she dropped her phone in the lake! The kayak rental gave us Robert's contact to retrieve her phone via scuba. We called him before we launched and he was waiting for us when we docked! He geared up and had her phone retrieved in no time! And with a smile. He made a stressful situation feel like a breeze. Give this guy your business he is one of the good ones!

I'm just so thankful with these guys We came from Houston to a Boat party and I lost my car and house keys into the lake the captain gave me the number to contact them and it was amazing. Robert was super efficient, he gave us instructions on how to leave a mark so that he could have an idea where to look when coming to search. Communication was excellent and the search was successful and quick He found my keys!!!! I honestly thought it was impossible anyways don't carry your keys on your pockets on a boat party aaaand if you lose something of value don't hesitate to contact this place!!! They'll find it!! Thank you Robert!!

I had lost my watch at the bottom of Lake Travis, so I gave Robert from Lake Travis Scuba a call. He and Brian were very responsive and came as fast as they could. Both were extremely nice guys and very professional. We were unable to find it on that day, BUT they went back on two separate occasions and found the watch 1 week later! Robert seemed as excited to tell me as I was to hear the news. He was then nice enough to mail it to me in Canada! I would highly recommend these guys for any scuba needs or if you happen to lose something in the lake. There are good people in the world!

All of the skills build on each other, so you don't jump right into it and you get comfortable as you go along and learn more skills. Jez was encouraging and went the extra mile to help those of us who felt nervous about doing certain skills. He is also really funny, which helps time go by really fast! I am considering signing up for an Advanced class with Jez, since I liked the Open Water course so much. I highly recommend Scubaland as well. They are really helpful and the course itself teaches you skills ranging from how to put your gear together to learning about what to do if your air runs out underwater.

I was explicitly told the service for my regulator would cost no more than $200. When the work was…read morecompleted, I was charged approximately $410 which is more than double the maximum amount I had been quoted. I was not contacted beforehand to approve a $400 charge or given the opportunity to decline the additional cost. They "Fixed" things like a battery change that didn't even need to be changed out or replaced. No communication at all about anything. If I Would have known I would have never went here. The worst part is I've been a repeat customer who even got a certification here. Owners should be ashamed.

My hubby and I have been yearning for the sailing life for literal years now, and we decided that…read morethis summer was the perfect time to start making that dream a reality by taking the first sailing course, ASA 101! Our initial thought was to find a sailing school in Kemah, but I wondered if there was one closer to us, and, sure enough, there is! Enter Outbound Sailing on Lake Travis. We scheduled our class right away online, and the manager, Sean, confirmed with us almost immediately. Both he and Tim, the business owner, were absolute pleasures to work with! When the day finally came for Day 1 of our ASA 101 course, we headed over to Lakeway to meet our instructor, Spencer, at the dock, and, y'all, he is seriously the most open, sweet, encouraging, and engaging person ever, and that's not hyperbole! I was extremely nervous about the whole thing, but he immediately made me feel INCREDIBLY at ease, and, we got straight to work! From beginning to end, hubby and I knew that Spencer had our backs, from the dock talks to the rigging talks to the knot talks to the hours of beautiful practice sailing. He made all of that hard work feel like pure fun! Make no mistake, though, y'all! It IS hard work, and you need to know that going in! It's an actual class, so don't expect mimosas and charcuterie boards as you sail! LOL! You need to Really. Want. To. Learn. How. To. Sail. We did, so we were all in! Pro tip: When they tell you to buy the official ASA book for the course and to study it PRIOR to the class, take them seriously! Study, and especially commit the Points of Sail and the sailboat, sails, and rigging parts to memory. Also, do the 4 review sections! It'll all make things a lot easier on you! There's a 100 multiple choice question official ASA exam that you take on the morning of Day 2, and, while Spencer was a GENIUS at preparing us for it, we were able to spend more time actually sailing because of how prepared we made ourselves ahead of time! After two intense and awesome days, hubby and I both ended up passing the course to become ASA 101 certified (yay!), but, most importantly, we truly had the time of our lives doing it, and we absolutely have Spencer LeGrande and Outbound Sailing to thank for that!

LOL Captain Scott is a skilled sailor and a wonderful instructor... I'd take another class from him any time. Captain Tim, one of the owners, met with my wife and me before we decided to take the lessons. He spent all the time needed to answer all of our questions and explain the process. Lake Travis is a good place to take your sailing training, the winds come from all directions and are constantly changing. We are looking forward to further honing our sailing skills and sailing with Outbound Sailing. We highly recommend you check them out if you're thinking about learning to sail.
