I have moved over 10 times, and half of these moves have been out of state. Joe and his team at Lake Union Movers are by far the best movers I have ever hired. I will absolutely use Lake Union Movers again, and I don't even live in Seattle anymore. Joe was personable, kind, and above all, honest. I can't tell you how many hours I wasted talking to moving brokers who just wanted to "sell" me on their services, yet they end up not being the person making your move. Joe was with us every step of the way during our move. He came to our home, did a walk-through of our house, gave us a very fair estimate, checked in during our packing process, was on time the day of our move, and moved us completely out within 3.5 hours. The crew he brought was stellar; they worked hard and communicated with each other to be fast and efficient. Joe drove our entire home from Seattle to Denver and checked in with us along the way. He arrived promptly at our new home and had an even faster crew on the unpack- unpacking us in 2.5 hours. Not a single thing broke or was scratched during our move. Fast, efficient, and everything else in between! We hired Lake Union Movers to help us move from Seattle to Bellevue, and they sent out the A-Team - Cisco, Mario, and Kamryn. They are top notch guys who work hard to move your stuff quickly but also ensure that they care for your property as to not damage yet. They are straight up from the get go and advised us on some of our property that they may not be able to move, notably our baby crib due to the size of the crib and the space they had to work with. BUTTTT these guys made it work and was able to get it in to our new place with a hairline space to spare. Cannot recommend this group enough! Researched a ton of movers for our move from Seattle to Denver before selecting Lake Union Movers. Every step was easy. Kayla came out and did a walk through and was extremely communicative via text and over the phone to answer my many questions. Each step of the process the team was friendly and professional. They packed us up, drove to Denver, and unloaded. Joe delivered on the first day of the delivery window and the price was lower than the estimate! They were kind enough to wait a bit at our house while our contractor got all his stuff out of the way. Everything was packed well and organized. We recently used Lake Union Movers for our move from Ballard to Queen Anne Hill. Joe and his crew were by far the best movers I've ever worked with, in fact if all of the contractors, handymen, plumbers, electricians, etc that I've hired in the past were as reliable and hard-working as Joe I'd have had a much easier past ten years as a homeowner! They were punctual, they worked very hard and wasted literally no time, and they dealt with a difficult destination (fourth floor condo) without a sweat. Joe is an incredible problem solver, and his team did fantastic work with my complicated move. They delicately handled several unwieldy items like our large ficus tree, and they carefully hoisted the furniture that was too large to fit through our narrow staircase. For one of our rooms, they built a custom ramp on the spot to help with quickly and safely moving a large number of heavy items. The move was completed exactly on schedule. The only missed detail was a bed that wasn't put back together (easy to fix), and everything else was in perfect shape, including the walls and carpets. Lake Union Movers is the best company you could choose. Family owned and operated, there is a cheerful sense of camaraderie from the office staff to the movers. The movers were polite, accommodating and always pleasant. They went the extra mile to ensure things went well. What is equally amazing is, I was missing a pin to turn the light off/on to my pole lamp. It is 2" long and 3/8" wide. I contacted them to see if there was any chance they had found it. He went above and beyond to check out our storage unit in advance and talk to the storage unit manager to make sure on move day everything was seamless. We hired Lake Union Movers for packing and moving in September. We had to move to our new place quickly, so we were happy to be able to get some help with packing. They were very, very careful with packing, especially with our breakables. Everything made it to our new house without any damage. The packers and movers were also very efficient - they were able to complete our move much more quickly than I expected. Joe and his team are great. Joe was very professional and came out to give us a quote for our move. We were moving from the 5th Floor of a Belltown Apartment to a House and the cost was super reasonable. His crew was efficient and so careful with our belongings. 3 guys loaded a large 2 bedroom apartment into a truck, transported it 4.5 miles, and unloaded into a house in less than 3 hours (less than the quoted time).
