He remembered my husband's request for thickness and preferred amount of fat around the chop - perfect for searing. My husband has been preparing chops Steven's way for years now and it is flawless. It certainly doesn't hurt that the meat he starts with is fabulous. Since I had many errands to run, I asked Steven if he had any ice I could use in my insulated bag. He graciously supplied me with several sealed bags of ice which would be sure to keep the pork safe until I reached home. We enjoyed them tonight. One chop was enough for the two of us ( picture below), but we will have one tomorrow in our salad. They always preserve their juiciness and flavor well into the following day.

They also have baked breads and goodies. I left with a sourdough bread and a choc chip cookie. There are some tables outside to eat. They also sell unwashed, unrefrigerated chicken eggs from a local farm. So great! I did buy these, but somehow they didn't make it into my bag which I did not discover until I got home, but other than that, service was super friendly and helpful.
