One of their specialty sandwiches. Reuben

I found this place and happened to stop by last week from reviews on here so I went in. I wad in the area. Unfortunately I was disappointed as the sandwich was just on. Lacking in flavor and just bland. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. No complaints there. Maybe one more try next time I'm in the area to give them another shot. Very clean place though. Well kept.

Love this place, used to be my go-to lunch stop when I lived in the area. Now I swing by when I'm in the area. Always get the dodgingtown, it's so good!

Good and speedy sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Grab and go spot. The specialty sandwich menu has a bunch of good picks on it.

I got the Flagpole, one of their signature sandwiches and it was absolutely delicious.

I enjoyed a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. There's also some premade items to grab and a little trinket table to browse. There's a large fridge with a lot of bottle drink options but also a fountain soda machine. They really got it all! They have a lot of coffee options including some rotating specialty lattes. And there's a cute coffee bar to sit and order from. Most importantly I want to highlight the service and staff. I met the owner and her family and they were the kindest and most welcoming people I've ever met. And I was there super early for a latte! In a world full of chain restaurants, it's important to remember to visit your local businesses. It's often filled with hardworking families. I encourage you to give it a try!

Today was my 2nd time at Dodingtown Market & Deli. I wish I would have taken a pic of my sandwich…read morefrom the 1st time the George Foreman with the homemade tortilla chips, and homemade pickles. That sandwich is what made me want to go back. Today I brought my husband in based on pics of their pizza from reviews on Facebook. We ordered a large Hot Oil Pie, and Garlic Knots to eat there. Then a large cheese pizza to take home. In addition I had an iced carmel salted latte one there ,and it was so good I took one to go. On top of it the family that owns Dodingtown were just as friendly and welcoming as the first time I came into their business. Now lets start with the iced salted carmel latte so creamy, and refreshing but not too sweet. The garlic knots have sliced pieces of garlic, nice plump dough, and the sauce was to me perfect! The hot oil pie if you like HOT this is your pizza. The peppers used on this pizza are green chill peppers, and red italian long peppers. These peppers together bring the heat. The crust is thin and crispy, and the sauce is a delightful homemade sauce. You can tell their pizza is made with the best ingredients. Dodgingtown is a local business You want to know from their sandwiches, pizza, baked goods, coffees, teas, etc. I am looking foward to the next time I can eat at Dodgingtown Market & Deli‼

So, my wife and I, along with our tween daughter, visited Hilltop Kitchen on a whim last Saturday…read more First impressions were wonderful. The dining room was empty as we came early, and it looked beautiful. The entire restaurant, to the eye, is absolutely a vibe. There was one server on shift at the time and she was very nice and welcoming. We had very high hopes for the meal to come. We were fairly disappointed. It was during a brunch service. Initially ordered the calamari as an appetizer. Yes, calamari as a brunch app is kind of strange however since it was available I ordered it. I typically order this wherever I go, because I execution-wise, it's not the easiest thing to prepare correctly. This app was tiny, as in the serving size. Additionally the calamari itself was super small as well. No nice meaty rings. No crispy tentacles. Just a greasy mess. The dish purports the dipping sauce to be that of a fra diavolo, it was not. It was more like a marinara with chunky bits of aromatics and perhaps a bit of crushed red pepper. It was also very pricey given everything. Even if it were perfect, still on the pricey side. At the same time my daughter ordered French toast. For $18. We are talking $6 a slice of brioche. Wild business, that. As mains, my wife ordered the avocado toast. Which she actually seemed to enjoy, although the bread was soggy, and the other items on the plate severely lacking. I ordered the "lobster" cake eggs Benedict. If this was lobster, then I'm the Mother Theresa. It was, by my palate overly processed canned crab meat. At best, overly processed lobster meat, but I highly doubt that given the taste, color, and texture. The CRAB cake itself was meh, the accompanying potato hash was okay, and the hollandaise sauce was passable if not good. We ordered drinks as well. My lemon drop martinis were pretty good. My wife was dissatisfied with her margarita, then ordered a dirty martini that was okay. We walked out with a tab of nearly $200. To say it was worth the money would be absurd. I hate to be so blatantly honest with this review, but this experience (food and drink-wise) was not one I would recommend.
