My son wanted to pier fish, and I'm not experienced with fishing. The woman who greeted us was very helpful and friendly. She set us up with everything we needed and took the time to walk us out to the pier to give us some brief instructions. My son had a great time and it was a good experience. Complete disregard for safety. We informed them of our inexperience paddle boarding yet they let us on with a windy forecast. Prior to going out we were assured they would keep an eye on us but they were no where to be seen. My daughter drifted so far out. I finally made it back to their dock and urged them to go out and get my daughter. They were mostly concerned with getting their boards and paddles of people who bailed due to the high winds. Thankfully my daughter was smart enough to paddle to a nearby dock and walk back to the shack. I expressed the safety concerns to the owners and told them they should check on people more often. He replied arrogantly that he was watching us the whole time but couldn't answer why he didn't know where my daughter was. I wouldn't want any parent to ever experience this. Please be aware of this businesses safety practices. read more

Great spot and closed area for controlled riding. Feels much safer than others. Good speeds and some great waves. We had a group of 5 with 3 drivers. All had a blast in 30 mins of riding. Some great photos to buy too of us in action. Loved it! Recommend and will return. read more

My first time to this place for crabbing on the dock. Be warned, they are NOT open at 7am on Sunday as indicated on website today. Hope it gets updated. We left our home at 4am to be here for 7am and were not happy. There have been others who have had the same disappointment and since left. Shame. Lost business. Will update review as the day goes on. This place is great to bring the family out to rent various wave runners, kayaks, and boats. If you're not comfortable taking these things out and want to fish they have a fishing pier with everything you need. Various baits, rods, crab traps are available at your expense. The staff is phenomenal and very educated on all their activities. I recommend this place to everyone. read more

Fun times here on jet ski, a family run business. You can also kayak and fish on the bay. The people were friendly and kind, cost $65 for 30 minutes. Watch those waves! You may need to park on the street their lot is very small. read more

Rented a couple waverunners -Great time for whole family-Establishment and equipment in very good condition-But the reason I give Lakeside five stars is for the kindness that the owner Claudia showed to me-After I was finished with my ride I had realized I had a coupon in my vehicle and I figured what the heck, let me ask her if she would honor even after services were already rendered-I was totally expecting the standard answer that "you need to give me the coupon before you pay and ride blah blah blah "however ,Claudia did not hesitate for a second and happily gave me back $10-Truly nice people with a first class place!!! read more

It's a great place if you can afford it. It's $10 just to enter the dock then they nickel and dime you for everything.

I went waverunning here during a recent vacation. It was an amazing experience. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and well organized and the pricing was reasonable. They had several activities that you could do there as well, including kayaks and fishing. Our family was really impressed and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. So excited to go paddle boarding there- the lake looked beautiful. Once we got our boards which were in very poor shape, we attempted to go out into the area sectioned off for paddle boards. It was hard to keep our balance because of all the waves breaking because of all the jet ski/wave runner commotion which was right next to us. We decided 5 minutes into our hour rental that it was not going to be enjoyable and went back into the office. There we were told that we were the first to complain, and that they don't usually give any refunds. I reiterated that we were gone for a total of 10 minutes dock to dock and she reluctantly gave me 1/2 of a refund and was not understanding or the least bit concerned that we were not happy. We then got into the car and drove to SUP Cape May 5 minutes away - where the boards were top of the line and the water couldn't have been more perfect! I strongly advise to check out the area before you pay ! What a mistake. read more

We rented jet skis from Lakeview docks. Claudia and Pat were very nice but I can't say the same about a couple of the instructors. I'm 51 and my wife is 46 (+3 kids). Im sharing this because I felt that both instructors were rude and condescending. One of them was named Tim. He gave instruction before we left the dock and also when we returned. It was first time jet skiing in years and I guess I wasn't the quickest learner based on two impatient condescending remarks he gave me. My wife was on another jet ski. When we got back to the dock she told me that another supervisor on the water (a young kid) yelled at her. Instead of telling her what she did wrong.....instead he yells "what are you doing" in an exasperated tone. He never actually told her what she did wrong. It's not like my wife and I with our kids are trying to be reckless. So both my wife and I experienced rude impatoent remarks from two different people. There's plenty of other places to rent in wildwood. My wife and I won't be returning and we plan to tell our fiends the same. read more
