This place is great to bring the family out to rent various wave runners, kayaks, and boats. If you're not comfortable taking these things out and want to fish they have a fishing pier with everything you need. Various baits, rods, crab traps are available at your expense. The staff is phenomenal and very educated on all their activities. I recommend this place to everyone.

Nice people, plenty of fishing rods. Great place to just hang out and fish. Didn't catch anything though. Story of my life.

It's a great place if you can afford it. It's $10 just to enter the dock then they nickel and dime you for everything.

We had a great experience NOT paddle boarding with SUP Cape May! Let me explain: we called ahead…read moreand were told that it was quite windy and we may not be able to go out. We decided to chance it anyway and see if the winds would die down. They did not. When we got there, we were told it was too windy and it wouldn't be much fun to struggle out there with the wind. We really appreciated the honesty of this business. They could have taken our money and let us struggle around on paddle boards on the bay for an hour, but they were straight forward with us. We previously had a bad experience in the Caribbean where the paddle board shop sent us out despite strong winds and we had a terrible time of it. These guys were far more interested in safety and making sure their clients enjoy their experience than simply taking their money. They even gave us free water in 90 degree heat for our troubles, which was very sweet of them. That's why I give them 5 stars despite not having been able to paddle board with them! p.s. For what it's worth, the group ahead of us who had managed to paddle board before the winds got bad seemed to have had a fabulous time!

I feel like a real insider now, because I found the most perfect kayak and sailboat rental place…read more I've been here twice this year I get nothing but great energy from Jen and Mitch; paddling or sailing with them is like being with my own paddle club back on the Ches. I've gotten awesome service from them - whether it's booking a lesson last minute, or asking for a touring yak pre-seasons. Their little shop is adorable and in a perfectly serene location right on the bay. I can't tell you how much this counts for me - city docks and slips are just un-fun and their shop feels like my favorite put-in back home. They are both experienced paddlers and chatting with them is just like chatting with any of the sea kayakers in my paddle club. The Lil-Ass Bay (I'm sorry, I just can't help it) is also a great paddling spot ! With extremely limited boat traffic, and a refuge to it's north, kayaks can relax a bit and focus on observing the wildlife without having to keep their head on a pivot for speeding boaters and fishermen. These same reasons also make it a great place to take sailing lessons and let the wind carry you a bit. I have to admit that I've never actually paid attention to the prices ahead of time. You can tell when you're dealing with Jen, Mitch, or any of their helpers that they are going to be fair and reasonable. So I've always just gone out, come back when I wanted to, and paid and every single time I've been happily surprised at the price. Even the sailing lesson was more affordable than I expected. Paddling here is like paddling with a friend. Will definitely be back on this trip and many future ones. Quite side note about sailing, yes, they do have some rules about sailing as another review posted - not being able to jibe can be a little bit annoying sometimes when you really just want to run or reach down a bit, but it allows them to keep the sailing accessible and affordable to more people, which is important. Can't wait to get back out there again.

I was here again with my same family of five including two elementary school children. This time I rented two double kayaks for 1 hour at $30 each or $60 total. I also rented one single kayak for one hour or $20. Our total cost was $80 for two doubles and one single kayak in total. This time we traveled south in the bay since the current was moving North. That made it easier for us to kayak back to the kayak base. We returned within one hour. I also purchased a Coastal Kayak hoodie for $40. We agreed we will return here again.

I could tell my hip stabilizers & quads had been utilized (from all the balancing) later in the day haha. Reasonable pricing for an hour. For 2 ppl came to like $43. Be prepared to go for an hour cuz they don't have shorter time increments. Or just buy an hr and come back to shore when you're over it. Honestly; you'll need the hour just to acclimate to maneuvering the board. The place also offers glow in the dark paddle boarding! Looks cool but I'd be weary of any sea creatures in the bay at night. I've been watching way too much shark week/fest on Nat Geo lately lol. Only downfall in my opinion is that not all the instructors are made equal. Saw an older man & younger guy teach a couple groups before us and both were very thorough with their paddle board tutorials. This girl that I thought was just another paid customer approached us out of nowhere like "you ready?!"... oh ok no intro. She was quick with her instructions and def got us into the water fast. Seemed like she was ready to clock TF out for the day before she even started. I had fun for my 1st paddle board experience. I didn't fall. Success!I just would've been even better without this girl instructor's negative vibe. Issa whole mood that I wasn't feelin' at all. But she
