My husband and I had the best time with Mocean Waverunners. The crew that took us newbies out were the absolute best! Especially with me being nervous and anxiously smiling the whole time. Not once did I feel pressured to go fast, they keep checking on me but allowed me to "test the waters" and go at my SLOW pace, I literally only trusted myself to get to 21mph and that was when our time ended and I needed to get to the dock. We were visiting cape May and of course the kids wanted to go for jet ski. We had a few options to choose from and we chose mocean , looking at Google reviews . It wasn't too far from where we stayed too. They weren't picking our calls and it wasn't clear if walk-ins were allowed. On their website they showed about booking online . Tried 10 times and atlast they picked the phone and said walkins were fine . It was a Tuesday and about 11 am.. so it wasn't that crowded I guess .. Parking is a little cramped but we got one . Once we reached there , it was just awesome . Sign in was easy . We paid about 95 for 2 seaters and 105 for 3 persons . Kids just loved it . They and good fun .. totally it was about 1 hour . Service was really good . Sure shot entertainment.. we liked it .. 4 stars . read more

Great experience! We had Jetskied before but wanted to try it out in Wildwood. We booked our appointment online with MOCEAN. There are a few Jetski rentals in the area but this one caught our eye. They had a promo code on their website too which was nice. It was an easy online process to book the day and time we wanted- and we only did it a few days before. We chose to do the 30 minute of ride time, single riders, and it was $70ish per person. We were told to arrive early, bring your license, and CC you used to pay. 1) leave all personal belongings in car or at home. There are no lockers and you cannot bring anything with you. 2) your sandals, car keys, sunscreen, cover ups/clothes are left behind at the dock in an open basket. At this time others are arriving for their rides too. Our stuff was fine and untouched, but keep that in mind. 3) a boat comes and picks you up from the dock and brings you out to the jet skis. The boat does not stay out there and comes back and forth with other riders. So you cannot leave anything on the boat either. Simply: just don't bring anything! Lol. My boyfriend and I both wore sunglasses on our ride and we were both fine. But the workers told us we had a 50/50 shot at losing them. Keep that in mind as well if you plan on wearing a good pair. You are explained the rules and about the Jetski when you arrive after the boat ride. The boundaries were large to roam and well explained. There's another boat and jet ski out there watching you in case you need help out there. The jet skis were in good condition, I was able to hit 50mph on mine. We had a blast and would definitely rent for this location again! read more

Tips- Go online and book at least the day before you plan to go. Showing up or calling will just leave you disappointed. Do not bring anything with you that you don't want to get wet. There is no place to put items. Bring Id for everyone; they hold it for you. Do not choose a 2 or 3 person jet ski because you think it will be bigger they are all the same size ( made this mistake) We booked a day ahead and everything went as planned. All the staff is super nice. If you follow the rules and are there to have a good time..then a good time you will have. Your time includes a 15 min boat ride out to the floating dock but you will still have plenty of time to ride. You can even change drivers as we did if you just let them know. Everything was clean and safe. Would definitely do again. read more

As two very plump ladies in our mid-70's, we weren't sure of how we'd be received when signing up for our first time ever on a Waverunner. All of the staff we met at Mocean Waverunners were gracious, friendly, and inspired confidence. Instructions given were clear. We had a blast on these wave runners. The owner who is very friendly and knowledgeable about the machines, gave us a run down of rules while driving us out on a boat to the dock where his choice of Yamaha wave runners are kept. They are in excellent condition since he said they are swapped out every two years. There is a large area of water to ride through. It's a free style, not a follow the leader style of riding. We got our machines up to around 50 mph. Since it was low tide due to the full moon, there weren't too many riders in the group, only about 5 so we had lots of elbow room! If you are looking for a great way to expend some energy, give this place a try! Great crew to work with! read more

Wildwood & Cape May, NJ are full of jetski / waverunner rental places, and Mocean tends to be one of the most popular vendors. It's one of the bigger operations - we had to wait about an hour to get a jetski without a reservation - since they have a highly visible location, especially from the large rows of 60's era vintage motels right next to the Wildwood boardwalk. Once they're ready with your jetski, they'll drive you out via pontoon-boat shuttle to a floating island dock where the jetskis are parked. The jetskiing area is not on the ocean, its an inland harbor. The size the area allowed for jetskiing is a decent size, but not big - it's good for 30 minute rides, but too small for an entire hour worth of rides. Only negative issues were when staff bickered with each other and didn't get along as a team (it takes 4-5 people to supervise the riders, drive the shuttle boat, and coordinate with the rental office). They were nice enough to the customers, but you don't really want to see them yelling at each other either. I would recommend Hang Loose (www.hanglooseparasail.com) instead of Mocean. Its smaller with more individual attention and nicer staff, had no wait for jetskis when we showed up without a reservation, and you get to ride out to the exact same riding area (instead of a boat shuttle) so its a little extra time on the jetski. read more

It wasn't the greatest experience. We were there by 10 am for our 10:40 start time. We didn't get on the boat till 10:50. You are also not getting your full time that you pay for on the waverunners. I purchased 50 minutes and we only got 30 minutes on them. Your paying for a 10 minute boat ride out and 10 minute boat ride in. I went with my sister and we couldn't even stop to talk 100 yards away out by the boarder. I will definitely take my business elsewhere. It was the most boring ride I had couldn't jump waves or talk to family member on another waverunner. read more

The friendly people at Mocean have become a staple of our annual vacation for at least one morning during our one week stay at Cape May. The staff is most friendly and most accommodating In addition to the staff, what makes Mocean better than all the other waverunner rental locations in southern NJ , is the fact that you are not limited to riding in a very limited geographic area in circles. I booked this spot for my birthday. On the website I did not see any facts on that they take you on a boat out to your docked jet skis in the middle of the ocean. I have extremely bad anxiety with boats and being stranded in the middle of the ocean. I asked if I could just get the jet ski and have a tour guide bring me out as they do in every other place I've jet skied at. They would not help me. When the captain came over he just said I'll take care of u. That did not help the fact of feeling stranded on a boat and not being in control of my own jet ski. They said no to helping anything. So I asked for a refund or maybe coming back another time to try and help with any inconveniences and they still said no and argued with us. So we walked away loosing 80$ for nothing. They do not care for you, only your money. read more
