We had all of the comforts of home: a fireplace, a fridge, a gigantic bed, a large en-suite bathroom, and a huge jacuzzi bathtub (big enough for the two of us to enjoy together!). Breakfast was served at our requested time and we enjoyed it both in our room an in the dining room with other guests, depending on the day. De Ann is an absolutely fantastic cook; her breakfasts aren't to be missed. While we didn't spend much time in it, there is a lovely back garden with a screened in gazebo, a bubbling fountain, and yard games for your enjoyment. The Roost is conveniently located close to Neenah, downtown Appleton, and about 30 minutes south of Green Bay. There's even a lovely house dog, Zada, who was very excited to greet us and give us all the kisses we could ask for. We will most certainly be back and are recommending Roost Bed & Breakfast to every single person we've met, both in Wisconsin and elsewhere.
