I just visited the LA Lakers team shop store here in El Segundo. It's kind of cool is that it's the next building over from the training facility. However the storefront is fairly cozy. They manage to have a good selection of things. They are encouraging people to order online where there is a bigger selection. They have a rack that is half off, which is great. And lots of things from current and past Lakers players. The parking situation is kind of interesting the way that it's made out to be. There are a couple spots in the lot which is connected to the back of the store which you can't enter from. They are having people to go in from the front, which is the courtyard side. For the parking lot, you do have to walk all the way around if you're on the outer side of the parking lot. They need to create some sort of walkway in the middle otherwise you're looping around. Otherwise, this is ok option for merch if you happen to be in the area. But I'm glad I came and checked it out. read more

I always knew that the Lakers Training Facility was in El Segundo at the UCLA Health Training Center but it wasn't till now that I discovered this official Lakers merchandise store that is right across from the training center. This small retail shop is quite the gem and offers a variety of Lakers jerseys, shirts, hats and other souvenirs. This store is not quite as large as the stores at Crypto.com or the big TEAM LA store in DTLA. I was a little bit disappointed that I couldn't find the new Hello Kitty Lakers ornament. Though I couldn't find the Hello Kitty merchandise, I was pleasantly surprised to find some unique items such as Filipino Mabuhay Lakers lanyard, a Lakers lucky cat pin and a Mickey and Minnie Mouse Lakers keychain. I also loved the various colored shirts and hats this store had. There is also a good selection of 50 percent off shirts, jackets and sweaters. This Lakers Team Shop is a great little store to shop for Lakers clothing and accessories. It is also quite the fun store. They have a tv showing old classic Laker games and towards the front of the store they have a whole rack of basketballs. As mentioned above, only my comment is that I wish they had the Hello Kitty merchandise. I understand that there can be exclusives only to be found at Crypto but for some of us that can't make it out to DTLA, it would be nice to have some of those items here. Stopped to look for Christmas gifts. It's located in a small center with a bunch of small fast casual restaurants. You enter from the courtyard and not from the parking lot. Although they have a good variety of men's, women's and kids gear I unfortunately did not buy anything. Other than a hello when I walked in that was the extent of customer service. Not that was expecting someone to help me locate anything I needed they (3 workers) didn't even ask me if I needed help. They just talked to each other the entire time. I ordered the new Lakers City jersey and a hat on the morning of November 14th when the new jersey was available, and I got my stuff on November 29th. Their reason was because it takes 7-10 business days, but with thanksgiving coming up, package should of been sent faster than it should. The fact that I ordered the jersey and hat on the 14th, and label created on the 21st, and received on the 29th is ridiculous. Definitely not recommending to others. read more

Do NOT order anything online here. I ordered something online for my brothers Christmas gift and this one of the WORST customer service experiences I've ever had to endure. First off, he usually wears size S and even that was way too small for him - looked like a kids size S. Although the sizing was oddly off I thought, no big deal I'll just reach out and see how I can get this exchanged. It shouldn't be too bad, right? Right...? I'll take "You thought" for $500. In the pics, you will see Kris initially confirmed that everything would be handled and the jersey would be exchanged for another size and sent to my brothers address. Once again, Kris confirmed this. Flash forward to a few weeks later when I followed up they said they didn't receive anything yet. Therefore, I had to post pics of my UPS receipt of it being delivered to them and no response again. Then I followed up (again) on the status and as you can see in the pic, I got a one liner saying my item was refunded. K. This whole time my little brother was waiting for his Christmas gift jersey to be replaced and I get some weak unapologetic one liner without even the correct resolution. Thanks for the massive waste of Lakers Store. I really have nothing better to do with my time than to follow up on Christmas exchanges and ensuring they're handled properly. I am very disappointed with my purchase. I've purchased several pieces of clothes from this shop online for my boyfriend. I even got send the wrong stuff at one point and I've returned it. Now I have an issue with a hoodie that came damaged and there service team tells me that's how it comes. It's ridiculous to treat loyal customers like this their merchandise is not cheap so I expect the best quality not swap meet material and services. Came through after paying respects at the Lakers training center for the passing of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and 7 other passengers due to that incomprehensible helicopter crash. While the internet ran out of Kobe products, this store still has a good variety of jerseys with his name on it. I'm not a fan, so I ended up empty handed. I called Hubbers to see if he wanted anything, but I think he'd much prefer to go there himself. (Clearly, there's gonna be a follow up visit.) It's a small store but the products they have to offer for purchase are a-plenty. Very clean and organized. Got a response, then when I gave my height and weight and asked what size would the customer service agent recommend, they responded with "we can't guess your size." What a good time to gear up for our Los Angeles Lakers, especially this 2019-2020 season they're back to their winning ways. As for me, I needed something to wear for an upcoming game to show the fan from within. Coming in they do have a good selection of jerseys, t-shirts, hats, and accessories. So pretty much the core wear to show Laker pride. To compare the team store at Staples Center to this one, this place is much smaller, it's just without the memorabilia's. With that said I'm sure you would have no problem what to find for that official licensed brand player's jersey. Also, they do carry the latest line of city home jerseys. This boutique had jerseys for all the starting players on the team this year in authentic and swingman. So, it's a great place to go before a game, but, they didn't have any throwback jerseys. Luckily, one of the employees told us that they usually DO have authentic jerseys in, and they should have some in around Christmas. She also mentioned that they have a website, lakersstore.com where we could find more jerseys. Besides that they had shirts for men and women, plus they had cute outfits and things for kids as well. Of course my husband wanted to check this place out while we had an overnight layover at LAX. Since we did not have a rental car, we Uber'd it from the Cambria hotel to the shop. It was about a 5 minute drive, so I guess we could've tried to walk there...but nah, Uber is so convenient. They have Swingman Jerseys (replica jerseys) for $120 and so many other official products. My husband had the hardest time figuring out what he wanted to buy since there were too many options in the store. They had beanies, keychains, hats, all types of tanks and shirts, and of course the jerseys. Ordered two jackets during their mystery sale. One of the jackets was great but the other one had a jacked up style (part of the lakers logo was covered by the pocket on the bottom of the jacket--see picture). Emailed customer service because I thought it was defective and wanted a different style and was informed by Kris that this was the intentional style of the jacket (kind of appalling someone would sell a piece of clothing that is styled the way it is...l think they put this defected item for sale knowing it was defected because they're trying to get rid of them) That being said, because all sales are final for this sale, I wouldn't be able to get a different style. Kind of a bummer but it is what it is. However, I also ordered the jacket one size too big and asked if I could exchange the size but keep the same style. I was told by Kris that on the website and packing slip it said all sales are final (it didn't say that at all on the packing slip--I checked. Packing slip said please contact them about exchanges or returns), so I wouldn't be able to exchange for a different size of the same style jacket. I Think it's a bit unreasonable to not exchange for a different size given the STYLE was a part of the mystery sale...not the SIZE. I think the customer service from Kris is lacking and would definitely avoid buying from their online store--especially during the mystery sale. Never purchasing products from here again! read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! I will never ever use their online services again! On 7/6/18 I placed an online order to pre-order the new Lebron James jersey. I order 2 and was very excited. It is now 8/13 and I still have no product and no update. I've called their online help number from their website and I only get voicemail. I'm so glad there's a Lakers merchandise store closer to me so I don't have to drive into Downtown LA for the Team LA store. Great store overall. It's located in a nice area filled with restaurants and cafes, nestled within a rather industrial part of El Segundo. It is down the street from the upcoming Lakers training facility as well, so that's pretty neat. There was one guy working there when I stopped by and he was pretty friendly. I don't know what it's like on the weekends but it is super empty on a Wednesday, that's for sure. I will definitely stop by again in the near future for more Lakers goodies! read more

I drove an hour here to exchange a shirt size. The worker at the told me that i needed to wait unt her managers comes back in order for us to exchange the shirt since i didnt have a reciept. We waited, went to stbx and came back and waited. After waiting 30 minutes on a saturday, the manager finally came and said they cant exchange the shirt size since i didnt have the reciept. Okay, thats not what the worker said earlier. She said i had to wait for you to exchange without receipt... This situation frustrates me for several reasons. Beyond the fact that the worker had me waiting, why cant they scan the merchandise and match my credit card number to the purchase order to make sure it was a legit purchase? Who carries a hard copy reciept anymore these days.... Even after a long wait for nothing, not even an apology came about. This shirt that I was exchanging was part of a big purchase that I made few weeks back. Which upsets me even more that I spend hundredsss of dollars to this place that I can't even exchange a shirt or get apology from. read more
