So far I have gotten only suits dry-cleaned by Lakeshore cleaners. The owners are nice and did a suit coat and pant for $12. They usually want 48 hours to do the suit to give themselves extra time, which has been fine by me so far My suits are very clean and bagged as they should be. Fairly priced and great service. Came here on a Tuesday morning with 2 shirts and 1 suit. My clothing would ready for pickup on Friday after 5 pm, which is a bit longer than I would have liked but not terrible. The total price with tax for their service was around $18. The suit and shirts came out bagged and clean, no dust, stains or damage. Based on overall service, location, and price, I would definitely come back here for my dry cleaning needs. read more

I took a shirt to get cleaned and pressed so I could wear it to a wedding. I show up to pick it up on the promised day and rather than cleaning the shirt, their machine has actually put two stains in it. They knew about it but just tied to hand the shirt back to me. When I said they needed to fix it they said they couldn't until next week when the press man gets back from vacation. Never again will I trust this business to get the job done. read more

They fixed my very well-worn jeans, which were by all accounts mangled in many directions. I didn't think there was much that could be done and when I came back an hour and a half later, they were MAGNIFICENT! I'm not exaggerating by saying what this lady did was a work of art. (because I'm not allowed to say it in English) Avoid this place like the plague... "I have a job interview, so I need these shirts to sparkle and starch the hell out of them." Maybe it was the language barrier... "I know these shirts are kind of dingy, but I'm afraid of bleach, so can you do something with them?" "Oh....ok...we not launder them...dry clean the only way to fix that." I, mistakenly thought that "dry cleaning them" was going to be BETTER than laundering them, considering that they charged me $3.75 a shirt. Not to mention that I took them in on Saturday morning and couldn't get them back till Tuesday night. I learned long ago to always check your cleaning BEFORE you leave the store. Since I'd never been here before, I made sure I did. It's like they took them down to the lake and beat them on a rock! They looked no better than they did when I brought them in, and 2 of them had NEW stains on them. And clearly the concept of "starch" escapes them. My toilet paper is stiffer. I tried to be nice about it, because when the cleaning plant isn't on site, the guy at the counter isn't anything more than a shipping clerk. When I brought the problems to his attention, he turned into a real and told me it was my problem, and if I wanted to get them white I should "go store and buy some klo-ox" Yeah, I know that makes me sound like a total jag, but what it really makes me is someone who has to get up at 6am to take a bus down to the CD One Price cleaners in Lincoln Park (which is where I used to go before I moved farther north) by 7a for same day service where; they WILL bleach the shit out of them, they WILL be starched to within an inch of their lives, they WILL be back after 5p All that, and $2.00 less per shirt. read more

Horrible little man running this place. No idea what customer service is. Don't bother going here. Honestly did not even clean my shirt, just pressed it and put it in a bag. They also LOST 6 of my husbands shirts. I asked them to fix a small pen spot on a shirt and they could not even do that. The husband and wife are remarkably nice and easy to get along with. I just moved into the area from Phoenix and have a job that requires suit and tie everyday so I rely on a good dry cleaners. This was my first visit and it went great. I had 10 shirts, 2 pants, and an alteration on a blazer. It was inexpensive, quick, and the results were great. If you live around here I recommend you going and supporting a great community company. read more

Unfortunately, there aren't any good cleaners in this general area. Similar to other reviewers, I've had problems with many broken buttons. Their prices are average, I think: $1.95 per laundered and pressed shirt; $5.35 for dry cleaned pants. They seem to be slower than most places, though. They always tell me four days. read more

Unfortunately, both my husband and I have had clothes ruined here. They broke the zipper on my dress. When I told the owner that they broke it while dry cleaning it, he said it's not their responsibility. It's the dress manufacturers fault. Completely absurd since the dress was new and worn only once before. I will take our business elsewhere. Please don't support this local business. His customer service was disgusting. read more

I've gotten my shirt cleaned at this place a couple times. It is $3.50 for 1 shirt of $1.50 per shirt if you have 3 or more. I would say it is a great deal. They have been accommodating when I've needed my shirts back in a couple days. There is a bit of a language barrier but my shirts have always come out clean. I even had a makeup stain on a shirt that I wasn't able to get out on my own at home and they removed it. read more
