Secondly I don't care if the shirt was from Walmart, if we take it to get dry cleaned without a hole and then get it back and the arm of the shirt is ripped with a huge hole that's beyond repair I'd expect an apology or an offer to fix it AT THE VERY LEAST. This was not done. In fact they blamed my husband. We have been in this neighborhood for a long time and will make sure to tell all of our neighbors to never go here. The owner is rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. Do not spend your money here.

The guy kept repeating how he couldn't trust what I was saying like it was a he said/she said between me and the actual company doing the cleaning. 1) Your business is the front facing establishment I am doing business with - this is your responsibility. 2) he sent it back for free, which I was fine with - why the attitude? He made me mad, but it was unnecessary given we had a next step. When I went back to get it, it was almost all out, and he said he would send it back again, but again, it was the attitude. "This is the last time I will send it back for free" like it was my fault it happened - and at that point I'd already made up my mind I wasn't coming back regardless because of how he treats his customers. My husband went to pick up the shirt (it was his) and it was actually all out, but they started telling him how the stain wasn't pointed out the first time and he said that's because it wasn't there when it was brought here. They argued with him saying it was red sauce (no, it wasn't) and then another guy from the back came out swearing at him telling him he was a scam artist. An ATM is available on-site so you can withdraw cash and exchange it for coins. The photos online show older white machines where you can still open the lid after starting the wash. The machines currently in use here are different--once the door is closed and the cycle starts, it cannot be reopened until the wash is finished, so be sure everything is inside before starting. Most standard washers cost $5, the larger washer I used was $6.75, and there is an extra-large washer that costs $13. Drying is not free. Dryers cost $2.25 for one hour. All laundry essentials needed to clean your clothes--detergent, fabric softener, and related supplies--are available for purchase. They also sell small snacks, such as chips and candy (Snickers were $1.75). There is a bathroom on-site, and the space appears to be a long-established laundromat that handles a lot of wash-and-fold orders. Customer service was brief and not very upbeat when I arrived. The staff member seemed busy and may have been working alone with a large volume of laundry, which could explain the interaction, but the greeting came across as a bit abrupt. Overall, the laundromat is functional and gets the job done if you're prepared for a cash-only, coin-operated setup, but the experience is very no-frills.

Avoidance is my specialty when it comes to doing laundry. Last week, my in-unit washer/dryer broke--NOOOOOOOOOO. This meant that I was going to have to walk my hella-ton laundry basket down four flights of steps (which wouldn't have been THAT bad), but that meant that I would have had to walk my hella-ton laundry basket back UP four flights of stairs--that would have sucked. So, being the resourceful gal that I am I did some Yelp-search to see what kinda options I had. I was leaning to go towards drop off/pick up service, but with the crazy life style I lead, it's hard to be there at dead lines. Then, I found Dolphin. (can you hear the angel voices singing?!) Yes, it's expensive, but the whole hassle of packing the car up, lugging the laundry up and down 4 flights of stairs is eliminated. On your first order, you get 25% off, and a bag that they FOLD your laundry up when you have it returned. Only down side is that pick up and delivery is from 8-12 in the AM (M-Sat). If you're not home, it kinda sucks, unless if you're comfortable leaving it out on the back porch.

I started getting things that weren't mine, some of my clothes started missing. The absolute worst was when I sent a batch of clothes and the clothes I got back were all stained hot pink (I don't even own pink clothes). Not just that, three shirts had burn holes in them (how does that even happen?), two other shirts had ripped sleeves. In total about 23 tops / pants were completely destroyed. To make things worse, I've been trying to get in touch with their management about this, and there is no way to get in touch with anyone at this company. I've sent countless emails, calls, voicemails, and to date the only response i've received is "we'll call you soon". That was 2 weeks ago. I would highly suggest using another service for your laundry

In late March, we scheduled a pickup and, as we live in a secured building, I included detailed instructions: dial my buzzer code, take the elevator to my floor, and I would meet them near the elevator. These were the same instructions used successfully in a prior order. Unfortunately, they weren't followed. Instead of reaching out for clarification, the order was marked as a no-show. Today, we had a delivery scheduled. I had the day off and wanted to run errands, so I called to confirm the delivery window and was told deliveries began at 10 AM. Based on that information, I stayed home, planning to go out after the drop-off. By 4 PM, I hadn't heard anything and contacted them again, only to learn deliveries occur between 1 and 8 PM. This miscommunication derailed my plans for the day. I'm going to think twice about using their services in the future.
