Would not recommend services here sorely based on the interactions I have had with her. The medical team I have interacted with were fine but will take my business elsewhere due to this employee. read more

I had not been seen since 2018, they staff told me I needed to be seen to have my Xidra script filled. What I was not told is that I was now considered a new patient. (explained later by the Dr in a phone call) Went in, paid my specialist copay had all the tests done. That were previously done but they had no record of it. Dr. Sharma stated he didnt want to fill my script he wanted to try NEW plugs. I explained I had them before multiple times and they all fell out. That was why I was on the Xidra. He said he wanted to try the plugs again to come back. 2 days later, another copay, plugs in.HOUR LATER they come out. Called center the next morning, explain what happened they asked if I could return a cpl days later, I asked if I was going to have to pay another copay they said yes. And no I couldn't speak to the Dr. I didnt return. Now I am being billed for "Surgery" for a procedure that didnt last an hour. After I wrote an email, Dr called, explaining somethings about my copay, Which was not the issue. Ended with him saying I am out of luck and can go elsewhere and hung up on me. read more

Billing practices that seem deceptive and horrible customer service. Everyone was nice, but it's easy to be when they pass you to five different people during their process. Everything seems geared towards getting as much money as possible from customers. I went for a basic eye check and wanted only my vision insurance billed. They asked if I wanted "upgraded" imaging that would cost $35 extra. I said yes and figured it couldn't hurt. Due to the images, they suddenly "found something" and proceeded to bill my medical insurance at a much higher rate without fully informing me of what happened and why, or asking for approval. They also didn't have an office manager, wouldn't return a phone call when I called with questions, and use an outside billing service so you can't get anything there. Needless to say I won't be returning. read more

There is zero customer service here, they ordered contacts for me and literally held them for months before I was able to get them. They also ordered glasses that I paid extra for and they have still not been able to be worn. They also wouldn't schedule my diabetic eye exam...what does that leave for them to do? Went in for annual eye exam and my contacts prescription was changed. A week later I started experiencing horrible headaches and called to state I was afraid my new prescription was too strong. Unfortunately I had opened one of the packages of contacts I purchased (because I was only given one pair of free trials) and they were unwilling to exchange the entire box so I have several packs of contacts I can't use. This case could have easily been remedied by not expecting me to cover the cost of an incorrect contact prescription. It also seems that no one is taking notes because I had to fill in every single person I talked to on the phone with the long description about what happened and which prescription was correct. read more

Great experience. Good exam experience about a year ago. Purchased bifocal glasses with the help of Ryan. He did a wonderful job explaining the various options, pros/cons for each, and ensuring I had a good fit that I was satisfied with. Recently, scratched one of the lenses and to my pleasant surprise, lenses had a 1 year replacement warranty. Replaced both lenses for $60. Happy camper! read more

Doctor Rennaker is wonderful, very kind and helpful. Nurses are rude and not helpful. They added many extras to my glasses without my permission, leading to them being about $150 over what I was expecting to pay. As a college student, that's not good!!! I was also charged $200 for contacts that I hadn't asked for, it was refunded but still annoying. Every time I went in it was like they didn't know what I was there for. Overall just very unorganized. They seem like they're just trying to make money and the staff doesn't reflect how great the doctor is. read more

Great doctor, very poorly supervised optical dept. twice made lenses. Measured wrong. Management of opticians is non existent. Man who I assume is manager doesn't know how to smile or make eye contact. Service very poor. Front desk staff nice tho, they can't do anything but ask you to wait. I won't be back read more

Have been using Lakeshore Eyecare for almost 20 years, was always happy with the service. That changed this year when I went in for a routine check up and purchasing new glasses. The exam was typical and ordered new glasses after exam. Little did I know this would be the start of nearly a dozen trip back to their office to either have the glasses adjusted, or lenses remade. It took all summer to finally get lenses/glasses that were acceptable - all that time wasted making trips back and forth. Without getting into the details of exactly what the problem was, service and follow through were lackluster at best. Having to deal with just about every person in the office only to be given half truths until I finally accepted the lenses/glasses as "good enough". I paid for everything up front, and it took several months to get glasses that I could use. On top of my bad experience, another family member had a poor experience there as well and they said "well, you don't need glasses but your insurance will pay for it, so why don't you just get something...." Our family of 4 will not be going back. read more
