Came here early evening to catch the game with a close & longtimefriend, and we had a really pleasant experience. The place was pretty empty for a Thursday, but that actually made the game-day energy kind of nice and didn't detract from us wanting to visit a second time. The food was pretty good, the menu was very interesting, and the service was very accommodating. Even the owner was super engaging and took the time to chat with us. The whole place was very clean--especially the bathroom, which is rare for a sports bar. Apparently, they have a DJ on Friday nights and a comedy show on Saturday nights. Definitely need to check both of those out. read more

I believe Lakeside Bar & Grill is fairly new. We went there for Music Bingo and had a good time. The pizza was small but tasty and the fried catfish and fries were amazing. Great price, portion, and taste so I would get that dish again. The manager is really sweet as he handed out Fryums after we were done eating but stuck around to finish Bingo. Winners received $20 gift cards to the restaurant. read more

It's great to see a new restaurant in Little Elm. It is tucked away but conveniently located by the lake. The inside is small. If you have a large group I would definitely call before to see if you can be accommodated. We dined on a Tuesday and there was some confusion around the specials vs. happy hour. Basically the specials are all day and happy hour is for a certain time. It would be helpful to have a print out of this on the table. The food: my hamburger and brussel sprouts were good. I also heard no complaints about the flatbread. Someone at our table did get the street tacos, which were on a Tuesday special. I would honestly skip these. Service: In short, it needs to be improved. I'm extremely patient and understand the kinks need to be worked out with a new restaurant but if it's not improved I do not think there will be repeat customers. We waited over 5 minutes for Salsa to go with the tacos. They forgot the bottled beer; we had to ask for it twice. I witnessed 2 sets of customers walk out because they weren't acknowledged. I really hope they survive because the staff was friendly and it's always nice to have options close. read more

New business in town so (like always), I was willing to give them a chance. Employees were friendly and personable.. they each were able to answer questions about food, drinks and menu using their own areas of expertise. The service itself was a little slower than other places but the quality of the food definitely made up for it. Size wise, it seemed small. And definitely smaller and less formal than it looks on the website. Suggestions: Paper Menus - there is still a whole demographic of customers who like to see descriptions of the dishes and the prices. Drink Fountain: Soft drinks and water were being poured from cans and bottles. I plan to return after a few months to see what improvements and expansions have been made. Thought about giving 3 stars but there was a glitch with our check causing them not to be able to take our payment! I really want this place to succeed, however there are a few things that need to improve The beer (bottled and two different ones) both had no "fizz". They tasted flat, like they went hot/cold/hot and cold again. The wings were pretty standard and didn't stick out above a wing place. The fry's were pretty good, they could have been hotter though. The people working/owners are about as nice as one can be. We felt very welcome. The restaurant itself is beautiful set up if a big small. We will definitely give them another try. read more

Had dinner here and was disappointed from the start. The place was very small and not inviting. I asked for water and was simply handed a bottle of water. The lettuce in my salad didn't seem to be washed--it was gritty, and I couldn't eat it. Our dinner came with mixed vegetables that looked like leftovers from Thanksgiving. Food's decent. Service was terrible. The food was actually pretty decent overall and definitely the best part of the experience. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were fair, and the menu had some solid options. Unfortunately, the service completely brought the experience down. Staff seemed uninterested, inattentive, and slow throughout the visit. It took way too long to get basic things, and communication was poor from start to finish. I don't usually expect perfect service, but this was frustrating enough that it overshadowed the meal. I'd maybe come back for the food alone, but the service seriously needs improvement. read more

New business, 6 months old, went in for New Year's Eve lunch with friends. One of our friends recommended the burger. The Bacon Jam Hamburger was good without the garlic aioli, cajun pasta was good, fresh, Surf & Turf - shrimp and ribeye was fantastic for $29.99. Food overall good. Cocktails $12 and wine $7.... place was clean with a side view of Lake Lewisville. Con is the owner and chef, heard there needs to be consistency when Con isn't cooking or Tyler isn't bartending. The server was very nice but thats about the only positive thing I can say. We sat down and she handed each of us a full bottle of water. Very strange. I had to ask for a glass. Maybe they dont have good tap water there, i dont know. She surprised our child with a glass of lemonade-we did not ask for it. We thought that was nice but then she charged us for it on the bill! Ordered a margarita that came out the size of half a small rocks glass. Charged $8. Seriously maybe less than a cup of margarita, and it wasnt that good. Had no ice in it. Burgers were ok. Nothing special and were expensive. We were the only people there. Very small, only 6 tables. Will not go back or recommend it. read more

Ate at Lakeside Bar and Grill. It's pretty small, but very chilly which I'm positive we will all appreciate when the sun is trying to kill us soon. We started with the charred cauliflower and just wow. I never thought I'd see the day where I could get absolutely beautiful and delicious food here in LE but here we are. Atmosphere - small, very cold, everything echos so even when there's a few people like today it is loud. Be prepared for that. Also it has the same sewer smell that is all over little Elm, really wish the town would fix whatever that is. Service - the waitress (Natalie)was super nice, and knew the menu inside and out. She provided direction, explained foods to us, and talked to my 11 year old like she was a friend. - love that. The chef came out to check on us, and I appreciated that. So, a week after open, service is awesome. My husband asked them to mute a TV above our heads and they were happy to do that (we would not have asked but we were the only ones in that area) Food - charred cauliflower was awesome, my burger was a perfect mid rare, and the bacon jam is awesome on it. Hubs had the chef salad with shrimp and he said "very good, lots of stuff" daughter had boneless wings and loved them. All in all I'm impressed by the food. Oh, and in case none of this made you want to try it, they got that good ranch. read more

I had the salmon and even without the raspberry chipotle glaze it had phenomenal flavor. My asparagus and broccolini were great as well. We also ordered the chicken and bacon jam flatbread. Where it wasn't terrible, it really wasn't our "jam." LOL! All that to say somebody else may really like it and we didn't leave any for the trash. After our first time eating at Lakeside Bar & Grill I gave them 5 stars for their wings, but that has gone to 1 star. We have ordered their wings five times, and three out of five times the wings were bad...the last time the wings were pink and undercooked! The manager offered and reimbursed our money but I told him that 3 out of 5 times for bad food was unacceptable. I'm not messing with salmonella. read more

We decided to try out the new place and found out it was very loud and very small. I ordered a cosmo and waitress said they didn't have all the ingredients to make it so I ordered a lemon drop martini it came to the table with no alcohol in it. I told waitress there was no alcohol in my drink and she said bartender was new, she promptly brought me a shot of vodka without hesitation. I ordered the chicken with bacon jam flatbread, it was okay but chicken was chewy. Husband ordered the pepperoni flatbread. Very little pepperoni and dry. We will not be going back. read more

Very small place, maybe around 8 tables that were smushed together- real close with other tables. The bar is about 2 feet from the front door when you walk in. Place does not have high chairs or booster seats, in a very family friend town this was very mind blowing. When we went to order just about every item and drink was "out of stock" on a Saturday night. Food was fried pickles and flat pizza which was just okay, nothing special. read more
