Arrived after lunch about 1:30. Place was almost empty. Service was great and I was offered a taste of one of the tap beers. What a nice surprise. We settled on two Community IPA's and they were tasty and arrived quickly and cold. Decided on the Calif Chicken sandwich which we split. It was very tasty and the guacamole made it different but delicious. However. The piece of chicken was very thin and barely noticeable in the sandwich. Lastly the music was super loud and I couldn't hear the waitress. I guess she thought it was me being an old man. My wife asked them to turn down the music to a low roar and they did. Overall I was disappointed in the sandwich but very happy with beer and service.

Restaurant Review: Tower Tap House - Little Elm, TX Tower Tap House in Little Elm offers more than just a scenic lakeside view--it's a great spot for casual eats and good vibes. On a recent visit, I sampled the stuffed jalapeños and the chef salad, and both dishes impressed me. The stuffed jalapeños were a perfect blend of spicy and savory. Packed with a creamy filling, likely a mix of cheese, they had a satisfying kick without being overpoweringly hot. The crispy outer layer added a delightful crunch, and they were served with a dipping sauce that complemented the flavors nicely. If you're a fan of jalapeño poppers, these are a must-try. On the lighter side, the chef salad was fresh and well-executed. It came loaded with generous portions of grilled chicken, cheese, boiled eggs, and crisp vegetables. The greens were fresh and crunchy, and the salad itself was big enough to be a full meal. It was a great option for something healthier yet filling, especially paired with the beautiful waterside views. Hydros is next door and they have water skiers of all talents going around the lake. The casual, laid-back atmosphere at Tower Tap House makes it a great spot to unwind, whether you're grabbing drinks with friends or enjoying a meal with family. With the combination of quality food and the scenic lakeside location, it's definitely worth a visit when in Little Elm. It definitely has an Austin vibe! They have indoor and outdoor seating, yesterday was such a gorgeous day that I enjoyed sitting on the patio with a book. I've been to Tower Tap House many times over the years, definitely one of my favorites!

This is your classic little American food place. Really chill and fun vibe here, with music, tv's, nice bar, and outside area! The atmosphere was my favorite! The food could be a little tastier all around. We had chips queso, which was watery, a cheeseburger, and chicken fried steak. Not bad, but wished for a little more flavor. Service was fantastic! Very attentive and kind. Great happy hour spot, maybe not dinner spot.

This place has a great location, come for drinks but I would not recommend anyone actually eat here. The service was horrible, no napkins or silverware for 5min after our food arrived. We even asked for them for our appetizer but never got them..... The server recommended the catfish, she said its a top seller. It's two large pieces that look good, but mine was still raw. Menu said it came with hush puppies but I had to ask for them. My wife had the Cobb salad, it was missing the bacon and avocado. Again had to ask for them.... Just horrible service and poor attention to quality food.

It's our spot in little elm for sports games and munchies. Food is pretty good. We ordered and tried several Things from here but today we ordered the halibut tacos with sweet fries, Chicken Tenders tossed in spicy buffalo with Mashed Potatoes Side and Green Beans Side, and another order of Chicken Tenders tossed in Jamaican jerk with Season Veggies Side and Green Beans Side. We all enjoyed our meals. This place is pretty social yet chill. What you would expect a bar and grill to be. It can get pretty busy in the evenings. Great for family and friends and even for a chill date. Try for yourself! Till then, let's eat, sip, chill!!!

Walking in, the atmosphere immediately threw us off--it had more of a sports-bar vibe, along with a "seat yourself" sign, and no staff greeted us. Honestly, if it hadn't been pouring rain, we probably would have left. With a name like Posh and Pours, we expected the décor and ambiance to reflect something a bit more upscale, but it didn't. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the food and drinks--both were very good. Our waitress, Meriyah, was excellent and truly the highlight of our visit. What didn't sit well with us was the overall staff dynamic. There was a large group of employees sitting at the bar chatting, looking very relaxed, while our waitress was running around taking orders for the entire place. When new customers walked in, the staff just stared at them instead of offering any kind of welcome. Considering the higher-end prices, the ambiance and service should match that level, and unfortunately, they did not. Because of the uncomfortable vibe from the staff (with the exception of our waitress) and the mismatch between price and atmosphere, we won't be returning.

I'm not going to adjust my stars for this, but there are some workers that are NOT attentive, have a bad attitude and/or were texting on their phones. The kaboom shrimp appetizer is to die for! Definitely my favorite appetizer. I also have had the southwest salad, I believe that's what I tried twice now. It was delicious as well.

The food was alright, i will skip the entrees next time and just stick with their apps. All the appetizers we had were incredible. The fried zucchini was crispy and flavorful with an amazing smokey sauce that came with it. The boom boom shrimp were cooked perfectly, crispy, and flavorful. However, the wings with dry rubs were bland and very dry, overcooked. The sauced wings had much better flavor but got soggy and were also way overcooked and dry. The burgers were under seasoned as well and the chips and salsa tasted like jarred salsa with cardboard chips. They have a huge variety of seasoned fries, we had the cajun and they were cooked perfectly, seasoned well and delicious. Service was ok, they messed up several drinks orders bringing us drinks we didn't order multiple times that we kept having to send back or talk through with our server. They resolved all the issues we had but it just never seemed very smooth and kept re-occurring which was frustrating and made me question my check but since i never had the chance to look it over since the device they handed me only showed the total. I asked for a printed receipt but never received one. The owner did come by and talk to us and she was very friendly and accommodating. I wish they served more local craft beers but mostly only served generic commercially available beer. Even after ordering a different beer, they kept bringing me the same one. I would only recommend them for their apps.

My wife and I came in on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch slash early dinner and overall the experience just left us asking, do we not get it? The vibe is cool and the space itself is nice. We didn't do the golf bays, but they look like the main draw and I can see how that would be fun with the right group. From an atmosphere standpoint, no real complaints. Food is where things fell apart a bit. We both ordered the Local Burger and it was mid at best. The bun completely fell apart and the fries were soggy, which is always disappointing when you're paying for something that's clearly trying to present itself as elevated bar food. It is weird that the menu is so limited. Usually fine with that cause it makes the food that is there much better, but that didn't happen this time. Service didn't help much either. The servers were all in their early 20s and spent a good amount of time texting and loudly talking at the end of the bar. I honestly don't care about that as long as service is still attentive, but that part was missed. Drinks sat empty longer than they should have and it just felt disengaged. Overall, it feels like a place that's trying to be fancier than it actually is. The food doesn't justify the hype and I'm guessing the golf bays are what really make this place worth it. I might come back if a friend wanted to go, but it wouldn't be my pick.
