Food is great. Atmosphere is good!! Love it when they have live music! But nothing beats football season and their chili

Went on April 25 to see a friend of a friend play music there. It was our first time to come here and we will not go back! Danielle E was our server and there were not that many people in the restaurant. However, she kept disappearing! We got our food ordered and actually came out quick, but we never saw her again unless we went to ask for her. We had to go to the bar to get refills on anything and to the hostess stand to get our check brought! When she finally brought the check she disappeared AGAIN! Thankfully the hostess saw me looking around for her once again and came to take care of payment for us. The absolute worst part was that she decided to add money to her tip after we left. I take pics of my receipts I leave sadly for this exact reason! It was CLEARLY written. So no way it could have been mistyped. She is very lucky we even left anything after the horrible service we received from her. I called the restaurant today and asked for the manager to inform them of the discrepancy and he wanted my credit card number. I told him t it was very deceitful for her to do this. He gave an excuse about internet not working so he needed my credit card number to look it up. I told him I had the receipt with the server name, check number and table number that he should be able to use to look it up. He kept pressuring for the credit card number to look it up and I kept refusing to give that. He finally said hold on a minute, put me on hold, waited several minutes and hung up the phone on me. If you choose to go just know you may or may not get a server that cares about their patrons and take a picture of your receipt with the tip you leave. read more

Our server was Awesome, always checking up in us. 07/28/25 was my first time coming here, the place looked run down, grungy, messy. I had the Sunrise burger, no flavor whatsoever, the patties were worst than McDonald's, dry and flavorless, just really bad burger. The wife had wings, they were actually decent mango habanero and buffalo. We also had an appetizer fried jalapeños (These Rocked) the ambience was just off due to the crazy 2 man band playing there noisy and horrible. Good selection of beers, I think for what we had it was a good price. Not sure I would come back though, burger was bad, but those dang fried jalapeños are good.. Hmm might maybe. This a 2-3,but sticking with 3 for now, I will give them another try. read more

Arrived after lunch about 1:30. Place was almost empty. Service was great and I was offered a taste of one of the tap beers. What a nice surprise. We settled on two Community IPA's and they were tasty and arrived quickly and cold. Decided on the Calif Chicken sandwich which we split. It was very tasty and the guacamole made it different but delicious. However. The piece of chicken was very thin and barely noticeable in the sandwich. Lastly the music was super loud and I couldn't hear the waitress. I guess she thought it was me being an old man. My wife asked them to turn down the music to a low roar and they did. Overall I was disappointed in the sandwich but very happy with beer and service. read more

Went during a weekday so it was not busy at all. Sat outside with our dog and it was very nice! Pet friendly and even has a menu item for dogs. We enjoyed the food. Will be coming back to check out the live music. read more

My husband saw a review on the catfish here. So we went today for lunch. He got the catfish platter with one extra filet and French fries and I got the golden fried shrimp with onion rings. The batter on both were delicious. The view out the window of the Hydro Park were cool. They also have a little water obstacle course. Our waitress was awesome. She checked on us. Food is mediocre, kids grilled cheese was more of a cheese sandwich wasn't melted. For having 20 beers on tap not much of a good selection of choices, had to return one for tasting bad. Music was too loud could barely hear the people at my table. Waiter was attentive and prices are okay, good selection of TVs with football on. Ladies bathroom smells like sewer. read more

They charge for extra tartar sauce, if you ask for a healthy version of vegetables instead of over fried nasty fries they charge you $3.00 more without advising you., We've been coming here since 2020 but tonight was just reduculas. This is your classic little American food place. Really chill and fun vibe here, with music, tv's, nice bar, and outside area! The atmosphere was my favorite! The food could be a little tastier all around. We had chips queso, which was watery, a cheeseburger, and chicken fried steak. Not bad, but wished for a little more flavor. Service was fantastic! Had both positive and negative aspects. Although the friendly service and accurate orders were highlights, the initially slow service and uncomfortable chairs detracted. Surprisingly, the restaurant was almost empty at 6 pm, creating an odd atmosphere, while the bar was jam packed. Overall, the place has kind of a dive bar feel, but is clean and relatively bright. No real concerns. The food itself lived up to expectations. Burgers were solid, fries were good, chicken wrap was as expected. Overall, this place is fine. I feel like this place has huge potential in the warmer months as they're right next to the lake, as well as the Hydrous Wake park. Should make for some good times! read more

We like this place and come a lot but the servers are dominating the juke box with Taylor Swift. I was there for over 2 hours tonight. I had to pay 7 credits to hear a song. I had already spent $20 on arrival but so many TS songs were already queued that the entire time I was there nothing else played. Think about the customer. We spent $190 on food and drinks. It took a server to ask for our order and that was25 mins. We needed menus. She had to go gather some up? Some of our order was lukewarm. Beer was warm so must have been poured but server didn't get it right away. It should have been delivered before the good. Chicken sandwich was tough. No Avocado on the salad and the ranch dressing on the side never came til we finally were able to flag a server down. The beef and cheese was blah. The final problem is someone came along and pulled our dishes away, never asking if we were done. My water, which I was planning on more drinking was removed. We got the feeling that they didn't have enough dishes! This place has a great location, come for drinks but I would not recommend anyone actually eat here. The service was horrible, no napkins or silverware for 5min after our food arrived. We even asked for them for our appetizer but never got them..... The server recommended the catfish, she said its a top seller. It's two large pieces that look good, but mine was still raw. Menu said it came with hush puppies but I had to ask for them. My wife had the Cobb salad, it was missing the bacon and avocado. Again had to ask for them.... It's our spot in little elm for sports games and munchies. Food is pretty good. We ordered and tried several Things from here but today we ordered the halibut tacos with sweet fries, Chicken Tenders tossed in spicy buffalo with Mashed Potatoes Side and Green Beans Side, and another order of Chicken Tenders tossed in Jamaican jerk with Season Veggies Side and Green Beans Side. We all enjoyed our meals. This place is pretty social yet chill. What you would expect a bar and grill to be. It can get pretty busy in the evenings. I have to write a review. We live in Oak Point and decided last minute to come out and have some fish. It never fails was hot and fresh. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. She was attentive and did her job. Great job Mya !!! Even the manager came by to visit and check on us. He made sure all came out good. I was very pleased. You can tell he cared and welcome us back. First time guest - came in on Saturday night only five cars, 3 tables worth of customers. Alarming but maybe it's an off day so we got a table. I asked our server two questions she couldn't answer so I asked for a manager, who isn't at work. So they sent me a bartender I guess. I asked her the same two questions - very simple ones. I asked the weight of the burger Patty and she had no idea nor didn't even offer to ask. So I ask another employee hi hello do you know how big your burgers are? She says no. So at this point I said fuck it let's go. Nobody cares in there. Nobody. That's why it's empty, the menu online and in person don't match, the staff would rather be on TikTok - managers don't exist and forget about anyone going above and beyond for a new client. Terrible, lifeless Cisco food meant to be cranked out as fast as possible with as much margin as possible. Shockingly bad. Caesar salad - made with soggy, flat and lifeless iceberg lettuce from a bag. When was the last time you went to a restaurant and had a great caesar salad that was made with ICEBERG lettuce? So silly. Even just drying out your lettuce before adding the dressing would help prevent it from being soggy - but I understand that takes a little more time, which you can give. To be clear - I ate on a Wednesday when the restaurant was empty. Additionally - store bought croutons? Come on, man. Why would I go out to eat and want to be served store bought food?? Chicken on my Caesar was pounded flat and terribly dry - do you even brine the chicken? Doesn't appear that way - again, probably a time saving method. Soggy, soft and dry boneless chicken wings. How?? Terrible. Take a look at how big the restaurant is. It's apparent their goal is to push out high volume of food and quick as possible while maintaining as high margin as possible. This is why they skimp on quality. To be clear - my server was awesome and very personable. Do better. Have some respect for your customers. We came to the Towers Taphouse with friends last night. The hostess sat us down and then not one of the wait staff waited on us at all! They all kept walking by but wouldn't even look at us. My husband got us drinks at the bar and we were there for at least an hour and still no one at all came to wait on us. When we were leaving we mentioned it to the hostess and she said well it's not open seating. Someone should have seated you. We then told her that she was the one that seated us and she just said Oh. Came here looking for something to eat by some type of water coming in from Houston. Looking and failing for a nice restaurant that met our standards,we landed here for a drink to take the edge off of traveling from Houston. We started getting hungry, so thought it was OK to settle for bar food. Honestly the BUGS was what deterred us. DIRECTLY next to our eating surface were window sills FILLED with dead bugs. This was really one of the worst meals that I have had in a while. I was staying in the hotel right across from Tower's so it definitely wasn't a situation where the food just didn't travel well since I picked up my own order. I ordered the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and an additional side of fries. The steak was severely over cooked, so oily and couldn't possibly have been fresh. The green beans were ok, but also seemed to be cooked in a lot of oil or maybe butter. The potatoes tasted like nothing. I genuinely cannot see a reason to come back, I'd rather grab sandwich supplies from Kroger and eat that for dinner instead especially with a 23 dollar bill for one disgusting meal. read more

I was very excited to try this place but it was not great. Ordered a classic Margarita on the rocks but it came out in a tiny glass, tasty but not worth it. My friend's alcoholic drink, Cherry Limeade, same situation. I ordered a mushroom burger / homemade chips. The chips looked and tasted overcooked so asked if I could switch them out for another side. Server said they always look like that and the kitchen may not replace them. They may charge me for another side. I ordered a side salad regardless. Not sure if they even charged me for it because my friend paid the bill. My friend's fried catfish was great, the best tasting item on the table. Probably won't be back because for the price, the food was just okay and was weird that replacing obviously overcooked chips was an issue. read more

terrible service its so bad me and my sister waited an hour and 30 minutes for two sides mozzarella sticks, and loaded fries almost every table was dirty they had like 5 servers and maybe 3 families so it was really slow and all the girls have bad attitudes except the bar tender she's the one that seated us and that's not even her job so she went out of her way to help us which was good but she shouldn have to do that after waiting to be seated for 15 minutes oh and by the way almost all there food is expired and I know this because multiple of my friends have worked there read more
