I was the first appointment of the day and the patient bathroom had not been cleaned overnight. Nurse was surly at best. After waiting over 30 minutes I saw Dr. Kothari for my yearly physical which took exactly 7 minutes. It was nice to have the blood draw there. When I got my results they said they were reviewed by another doctor in the practice. Results from imaging never get communicated. It is impossible to get someone to answer the phone and prescription refills are a challenge. Overall, terrible customer service and I am actively searching for a new PCP.

He is probably one of the kindest, most understanding and sincere doctors I have seen in a long time. His bedside manners are fantastic, I never feel rushed and I always feel like he cares about making me feel heard. His MA is wonderful, they are always super friendly and helpful. As for Village Medical as a facility - this place needs a lot of help. Trying to communicate with a provider is difficult. You cannot call the office directly, you send a message it takes days to get a reply. You use the chat or call the help line and it takes days for you to get some type of a reply from anyone. The answer is always "we will get back to you in a week." Sometimes a week is a very long time when you have a pressing issue. There is certainly a disconnect between the patient and provider. It is all corporate and help desk. When I get feedback from my pharmacy that I need a pre-authorization, or there is a question, it takes about a week to get any type of resolution because you cannot communicate with the office directly. If it was not for the fact that I like my doctor so much I would leave this place. Finding a good doctor is very tough. I just wish this place would get it together.

Thanks to a helpful review under my previous doctors office, I was informed that Lauren had moved to this office and was able to follow her here. I have never received such compassionate & helpful care before in my life. Lauren Blizter is hands down the best NP I've ever seen. She is so warm, helpful, efficient, and has provided me with the best care I've ever received in a medical setting. I was sad to hear she was leaving this office but I will be staying because everyone in this building is also incredibly kind and helpful. I always feel seen, heard, and respected. I know that when I come here I will be treated right. To emphasize the level of care this office provides: During one appointment, I was sitting in their lobby waiting to be seen when I got the news that my dog had died. Embarrassingly, I was a mess and couldn't stop crying. Every person that interacted with me in the office was so sweet and understanding and went out of their way to comfort me. Dr. Paige especially was so incredibly kind & comforting. She told me about all of her dogs that she's loved & lost & let me know that they're up in doggy heaven waiting to welcome my pup & protect/look after him. A few days later, I received a card in the mail from Sun Lakes Family Physicians saying sorry for your loss. Everyone in the office signed it and left a heartfelt message.
