As in built up grime over years of not being cleaned very well. It DOES have a GQT brand with 16 theaters plus IMAX and is used by locals as an air-conditioned pace to walk for exercise. (You know what store I'm talking about... starts with an H) Fine, but my personal observation especially based on the visit I made last week is that even though the other market is being hyped up by social media; Lotte is still a better, and more affordable market. Granted, the food court choices at the other location are better, I'd still come to Lotte when I need specific asian ingredients. It seems they're aware that theres more competition and they've not only done renovations to the store but they have a lot more specials now than before. The day we went they even had several people promoting products and giving out samples. I don't recall them ever doing that before and I think that's a great idea to boost sales in items. I look forward to shopping here in the future.
