    Mr Clean
    Christina V.

We heard Henry's Depot in Sanford added a new sushi spot, so of course we had to check it out -- and wow, what a great find! We tried the Mr. Clean (the special of the day) and the Rainbow Roll so we could sample all the different fish. Also grabbed some Hamachi and Tuna nigiri, and everything tasted incredibly fresh, clean, and well-prepared. Ordering from the kiosk was easy, and the chef behind the counter was super helpful, explaining the different rolls and fish and helping us decide what to try. He mentioned the menu will be changing and expanding, so we're already excited to come back for more. So glad this spot is close to home -- seriously delicious sushi and a great addition to the Depot. Thanks, Chef!

First time visit to Henry's Depot provided our opportunity to check out the offerings for lunch. Walk up ordering to various vendors led us to Chin's Asian Fusion Street Fare where we shared a generous portion of Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl and a plate of 3 Philly Egg Rolls. This fast food takeout proved to be a delicious sampling of food and intentions to return to try more. Food was freshly prepared and served hot and tasty. Portions are large enough to share so take a friend. There are other vendors to visit in this old train station food court so it may be several visits to find a favorite. There is a nice tavern on one end to enjoy libations. Certainly a destination for good food.

Henry's Depot is a 8,000 square foot food hall in Sanford located in a renovated 140 year old train station. Over two years Sean Kelley patiently renovated and refurbished the old railroad depot into a food hall named after railroad tycoon Henry B. Plant (1819-1899), the founder of the Plant System of railroads and steamboats. In 1887, Plant built the PICO Hotel in Sanford for the accommodation of his railroad and steamship passengers to Central Florida. Restoration features of the old station include a wraparound porch, cupola, and spacious back patio. There is room for seven different restaurants along with a cocktail bar in the caboose of the hall called the Basin where they have live music and special events. The Basin offers a weekday 4-7 PM Happy Hour with discounted beer, wine, and cocktails. Dining and drink choices at Henry's Depot include Sweet and Salty Island Grindz, Greenery Creamery, The Current Seafood, Gateway City Coffee, Pom Pom's Sandwiches, Chin Street Fare, Poke and Pie, and Yugiri Ramen. After careful consideration I had an amazing shrimp Caesar salad from The Current Seafood followed by a black ash coconut ice cream from the Greenery Creamery. I have been to a lot of historic train stations in Florida. Some are still in service, some have been abandoned, and a few are museums, but this is the first one I have come across that has been turned into a food hall. I love all of the special touches throughout like historic photos and the train mural. Henry's Depot does a great job of honoring the history of this building while taking it in a new direction serving up tasty eats and delicious drinks.

My current favorite food hall in all of Central Florida. Very well air conditioned, plenty of seating between the indoors and outdoors tables, plenty of space to walk in between all the vendors, great outdoor patio, and nicely located in Sanford. Tried the Hawaiian place and the Asian street food place. Both delicious and good price points. Would love to come back for pizza, Pom Pom's, and ice cream!!

Henry's Depot is an awesome food hall with lots of delicious options. On my last visit I tried three different spots and honestly they were all 5-stars in their own right. Everything was so good, I feel I need to come back and try everything Henry's has to offer! The vibe is super chill and there's plenty of seating. They have hightops, bar seating, regular tables, and even cozy couches. There's also outdoor seating, but I didn't notice any covered areas. When we went, there was live music playing, which added to the fun and made the atmosphere even better. If you're looking for amazing food, a variety of choices, and a comfortable vibe, this place is a must-visit. Perfect for hanging out with friends or even a fun date night!

There are a lot of different options for food in this one food hall making it easier for a group to find something for everyone. The bar at the back has good drinks at a reasonable price with friendly bar tenders. The over all vibe is cute but can get a bit noisy.

A cute little food hall with a variety of vendors as well as a full bar. I stopped at Pom Pom's sandwiches and Greenery Creamery during my visit, both were delicious! Also grabbed a refreshing cocktail from the bar as well. Most of the seating is in the bar area but there were a few tables on the outdoor porch as well with fans. A great place to grab a quick bite!

    Blackened grouper and garden salad

Had lunch at bait and hook. Ordered a salad with blackened grouper . The protein portion was slightly ridiculous- for a 10$ add on I expected to receive an actual lunch protein portion. Also ordered a Caesar salad but they didn't have Caesar dressing ? Overall seems like they have no idea what they're doing... when I said the fish portion is to small they said that's how it comes, I said it wasn't written anywhere and if I knew o wouldn't get it. The response of the rude cashier was - I'm sorry we just opened (?). Sushi was great, but for the customer service we will not return .

I ate dinner here today. I was disappointed to see Dharma Fine Vittles/Dixie Dharma was no longer here since I love their food. The pizza place was closed but opened later after we were already eating. Why was only the pizza place closed while all the other micro restaurants were open? I got the huli huli tofu plate from Sweet & Salty Island Grindz. I liked the tofu sauce and was happy to have a vegetarian (plant based) protein option. It was good. It took about 15-20 minutes to make but it is made fresh. I also got a black ash coconut ice cream in a black cone from Greenery Creamery. Delicious! I got a mermaid tale cocktail from The Basin.

The first time I came here I got the Hot katsu chicken sandwich. Perfect for two people. This time I got the spicy katsu chicken plate. Big scoop of Mac salad and 2 scoops of rice topped with a roll fam delicious! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Staff was friendly and came to the table to see if I needed anything. I will definitely be back.

I have some places that I like to go there for food, like the Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs. My daughter likes that there's a Claire's, and all the other Claire's around that we know are now closed. They have unique places when it comes to luxury brands, plenty of parking, but in peak season time can get difficult to find a parking close to the entrance. (You know what store I'm talking about... starts with an H) Fine, but my personal observation especially based on the visit I made last week is that even though the other market is being hyped up by social media; Lotte is still a better, and more affordable market. Granted, the food court choices at the other location are better, I'd still come to Lotte when I need specific asian ingredients. It seems they're aware that theres more competition and they've not only done renovations to the store but they have a lot more specials now than before. The day we went they even had several people promoting products and giving out samples. I don't recall them ever doing that before and I think that's a great idea to boost sales in items. I look forward to shopping here in the future.

The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, which already sets the tone for a smooth, stress-free visit. Once inside, you quickly realize just how expansive this market truly is--you could easily spend an hour (or more) exploring every aisle without even noticing the time go by. What makes this market stand out is its depth and authenticity. As an Asian supermarket, it offers an extraordinary range of products that go far beyond what you'll find in standard grocery stores. The produce section alone is worth the visit--fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, many of which are unique or hard to find elsewhere, are beautifully displayed and constantly restocked. As you move through the aisles, you'll discover an impressive selection of: Specialty herbs, spices, and seasonings Authentic sauces and condiments from across Asia An entire world of noodles, rice varieties, and pantry staples A wide assortment of snacks, beverages, and imported goods If you're cooking Asian cuisine, you will find absolutely everything you need here--no exceptions. It's the kind of place where both home cooks and seasoned food lovers can get inspired just by walking through the aisles. Beyond groceries, Lotte Plaza Market feels more like an international marketplace. You'll find plants, beauty products, and specialty items, adding to the overall experience and making it more than just a place to shop--it's a place to explore. A helpful tip: since many items are imported, be mindful to check expiration dates on packaged goods, and keep an eye out for promotions. Some products can be on the pricier side, but there are definitely great deals if you take a moment to browse. One of the highlights--and honestly one of the main reasons I return--is the indoor food court-style dining area. There are several small eateries where you can order directly at the counter. While the setup is casual and straightforward, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--perfect for a quick and delicious stop during your visit. To elevate the experience even further, the market also features a French bakery, along with beauty boutiques and a hair salon, giving it the feel of a small international plaza rather than a traditional grocery store. Overall, Lotte Plaza Market delivers on every level--selection, authenticity, and experience. Whether you're shopping for specific ingredients, discovering new products, or simply stopping in for a quick bite, it's absolutely worth the visit. Even if you're not familiar with Asian cuisine, this is the kind of place you go to explore, learn, and enjoy something different. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend making the trip--you'll understand why the moment you walk in.

It has such a strong local vibe and it is cool to see a mix of smaller vendors alongside some more well known food spots. That said there are a few things worth noting. First, seating can be a challenge. There is plenty of outdoor seating but not much indoors. The day we went it was pretty hot and sitting outside was not the most enjoyable experience at times. Second, I fully support spending money at local businesses but the tipping culture here felt a bit excessive. I bought a bag of coffee beans with no drink and was prompted for a tip. I spent $45 for 12 pieces of chocolates at Oban Chocolatier and was asked for a tip there too. Same thing when I spent about $25 on four cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse. I am happy to support but it started to feel like a lot in a not enjoyable way. Third, the hours between vendors can be a bit awkward. We came around brunch time which worked for some spots but others were not open yet. For example, Domu does not open until dinner (5PM) and Gyukatsu Rose was not opening until later in the afternoon (3 PM) Overall, I think this is a great place to check out especially if you enjoy trying a variety of local spots. Just plan ahead for seating and timing and be prepared for lots of tip prompts along the way.
